Charles Yi was born in Los Angeles, California and raised in Torrance, California. He started making movies with his father's camcorder at the age of nine. Although these first productions were small affairs involving friends and family, it was apparent early on that Charles had a passion for directing. Unfortunately, all of the movies that he made up to age 16 were stolen from his house during a robbery. However, this did not deter Charles from continuing to pursue his passion. Charles moved to San Francisco and enrolled in the cinema program at San Francisco State University in 1999. He excelled in his cinema classes, having been studying film, so to speak, since childhood. Charles even used film in some of his other classes, coming to agreements with the teachers to make short films for projects. One such project, Always Running: Chapter 6, was done in replacement of a book report. The author of the book, Luis Rodriguez, has referenced and made a link to Charles' adaptation from his website. Also, while attending San Francisco State, Charles met his future business partners Robin B. Reyes and Darren Hamlyn. After graduating with a BA in Cinema in 2004, he returned to Torrance. In 2005, he started the production company Across The Street Films and brought his two aforementioned peers on board to help with different aspects of the company. They have recently completed their first collective project.
Charles' short film Nice Guys Finish Last was shown at the 2007 Los Angeles Korean International Film Festival.
"Traffic In The Sky" was shown at the 2007 San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival as well as the 2007 San Diego Asian Film Festival.

The youngest of four, Marissa moved to Springfield, Missouri at age three after the premature death of her mother and was raised by her aunt while her older siblings were split among other family members. At age 5, Marissa's father was killed in a drive by shooting in Los Angeles before they had the chance to meet. Amid such tragedy, Marissa was always a joyous child, wise beyond her years who grew up to be a multi-faceted young woman and artist.
She succeeded at Glendale High School as an honor student, two-sport varsity athlete (basketball and track), and musician (cello, choir). She always was passionate about helping others and was active in Student Council, Girls Service Society and even created the Diversity Club, a 90+ member group that volunteered with various organizations in her hometown. After winning Miss Merrie Christmas for scholarship money her junior year, she was given an entry form by her older sister and decided to compete in the Miss Missouri Teen USA Pageant. She captured the state title along with the award for Miss Congeniality and set her sights on the national title following graduation. With her sassy attitude and warm personality, Marissa's dream came true as she made history at 18 and became the first winner from Missouri to capture the national title during the 19th Annual Miss Teen USA 2001 Competition, airing live on CBS.
Hosting opportunities for Extra and CBS, guest appearances, keynote speaking events and charity functions all ensued as Marissa postponed her fall semester of college at Saint Louis University as a pre-med major to move to New York City to live at Trump Place for the year of her reign. But, college was always a life long dream of hers and thus Marissa decided on attending The University of Missouri-Columbia for broadcast journalism and became a full-time student while juggling her duties.
During her second semester as a Tiger in 2003, MTV hired her as a VJ and she helped launch mtvU, a channel airing to over 10 million college students. Since then, Marissa has continued acting and modeling in Chicago and now Los Angeles including national commercials, print, independent films and helping create her own website. Her hobbies include dancing, photography, writing, organizing/decorating, playing the trumpet, outdoor activities, and spending time with her twin nieces/family. - Robert was born to Bob and Linda Armour in the small town of Tujunga California. At a young age Robert was always fascinated in playing around with characters, Halloween being his Christmas. His parents recount the multiple times they "should have known he'd be an actor some day".
At the young age of 14 his big break came when he landed the role of Derrick Dunne in Disney's Holes, starring his childhood friend Shia LaBouf. Well it was what he thought was his big break when he found out at the premier that we was cut out of the film. You can still catch his deleted scenes on the DVD of the film though! Robert went on to perform in small roles in Friday Night Lights, Nickelodeon's All-That and various stage shows.
Since 2013, Robert has taken a hiatus from the acting world to focus on his behind the scenes work as a Sound & Video Engineer at Universal Studios Hollywood. If there is a light out somewhere in the park, Robert is on it!
Another reason for his departure from acting is his dedication to his family. Robert married fellow actress Jessica Bremner in 2015 who just welcomed their first child Jude.
