Di Barker has been in the entertainment business since the age of twelve. A true entrepreneur, who launched her own business entertaining at birthday parties and hasn't stopped since. She became a member of the Screen Actor's Guild after landing her acting debut along with _Tia Carrere_ in Aloha Summer (1988).
Upon graduating from the University of Hawaii's School for Drama and Theatre she packed her bags and headed for Hollywood to pursue a life long dream. Behind the camera, production companies utilized her self-taught skills as she was able to save countless hours and production money with her ability to direct children. From PA to Producer in a short time, Di worked on multiple projects both large and small.
Several years of television found Di with such shows like Growing Up Together (1991) with _Leeza Gibbons_, Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation (1997) for Saban Entertainment, Rodgers & Hammerstein: The Sound of Movies (1996) and Twentieth Century Fox: The First 50 Years (1997) for 20th Century Fox as well as working with a plethora of stars like _Shirley Temple_, _Carol Burnett_, Julie Andrews, Paul Newman, June Lockhart, _Hugh M. Hefner_ and the late _Roddy McDowal_l for _Biographies (1995-2005)_ on A&E.
As a Production Executive she was a major contributor to the raising of capital for companies such as Box Office Productions' Dark Honeymoon with Roy Scheider, Tia Carrere and Daryl Hannah and the up and coming animated feature Dorothy of Oz, as well as Final Cut Productions Freaky Deaky directed by Charlie Matthau.
Beyond the film industry, Di furthered her business knowledge and mastered various managerial skills. Promoted up from every position she's ever had from Hotel Bar and Restaurant Manager, Gymnastic Instructor, Public Speaking and Fundraising Coordinator to Senior Director of Sales and International Capital Raising Operations Manager. After graduating from T. Harv Ecker's "Guerilla Business School" and receiving her Producer's and Filmmaker diploma from the Hollywood Film Institute she formed her own production company.
She is currently working as an Executive Producer for _DefCon One Productions [us]_ and _Raging Bull Entertainment-Production [us]_ on projects such as Charlie Lucky Luciano, The Devil's Angel,The Stone Pony and 'A Haunting in Massachusetts'
