Phil Vischer is an American animator, writer, voice actor and director who is known for co-creating VeggieTales alongside his friend Mike Nawrocki. He is the founder of Big Idea, an animation company that also made 321 Penguins and LarryBoy: The Cartoon Adventures. He voiced dozens of characters such as Bob the Tomato, Jimmy Gourd, Pa Grape, Mr. Nezzer, Mr. Lunt and Phillipe Pea. He would later found Jellyfish, a company that teaches children about the Bible. David Leidy was born on July 2, 1991 in Muscatine, Iowa. While earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Literature and Creative Writing minor from New York University (NYU), he became one of the founding members of the reinstated cinema society Delta Kappa Alpha (DeKA): an organization whose members include George Lucas, Alfred Hitchcock and Steven Spielberg. During this time, Leidy also wrote many published articles as a staff writer for Washington Square News.
In Los Angeles, David Leidy was mentored by Emmy® winner of the College Television Awards Justin Lerner and interned for Mike Medavoy at Phoenix Pictures (production company of Shutter Island (2010)). He then wrote, directed and produced Atonia (2013) with cinematography by SXSW® nominated cinematographer Tobias Deml under Prodigium Pictures (production company of Gaming Wall St (2022) and Monster Party (2018)). This led to David being requested by another film director to be a screenwriter on Paradise (2014) starring Cortney Palm of Sushi Girl (2012).
David Leidy's short film Faded Love (2015) won for Best Film Noir of the Year at the 2018-2019 Annual Awards of Independent Shorts Awards (ISA). His film Platonic (2016) won for Best Director of the Year at AOF MegaFest (highest honors among 16 interrelated festivals) of the Action on Film International Film Festival and acquired limited theatrical distribution from Fourwalled in 2019.- Writer

Jess Graham was born on 27 January 1981 in Muscatine, Iowa, USA. He is a producer and actor, known for The Nightlife (2010), Fair Game (2005) and Time (2012).- Gantenbein graduated from Muscatine High School in 1970, where he was captain of the Muskies basketball team his senior year. He attended Cornell College from 1970-71 and Iowa State University from 1971-1972. He moved to Iowa City in 1973, and lived there until his death.
A lifelong entertainer, Bruce performed professionally as a singer and guitarist in several bands, including Gambler, Cabala, the Uptown Serenaders, McCandless and Gantenbein, Kelly and the Komb-Overs, and Last Chance. In addition, he performed as a solo act under the names of "Bruk Gant" and, more recently, "Big Bruce."
He also performed as a stand-up comic throughout the Midwest, and was a regular at Penguin's Comedy Club in Cedar Rapids. He may be best known to eastern Iowans, however, as "Dr. Morbius," host of KCRG's "Saturday Nightmares" television show. He also won two "Addy" awards from the Cedar Rapids Advertising Federation.
He worked for the City of Iowa City for a number of years, he became an officer with the Iowa City Police Department, where he worked from 1978-1980. He attended the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy in 1979, where he was vice president of his class. Following that, he began work at the University of Iowa, becoming a campus police officer in 1990, and later a security officer with the UI Department of Public Safety. He retired from the University in 2011.
He is survived by his mother, E. Louise Gantenbein of Iowa City; his brother and sister-in-law, Rex Gantenbein and Judith Powers of Laramie, Wyoming; his son, Jesse Gantenbein of Minneapolis; and his daughter and son-in-law, Sara and Kyle Coobs, and grandchildren Quincy and Eliza Coobs, all of Iowa City.

- Born in Muscatine, Iowa, he attended public schools and Iowa Wesleyan College at Mount Pleasant. He graduated from the Nebraska Wesleyan University at Lincoln in 1892, studied law, was admitted to the bar in 1895 and commenced practice in Omaha, Nebraska. He moved to Encampment, Wyoming in 1902 and to Casper, Wyoming in 1903. He was a delegate to the Republican National Convention in 1908 and was a judge of the sixth judicial district of Wyoming from 1913 to 1919. He resigned from the bench and resumed the practice of law at Casper.
Winter was elected as a Republican to the Sixty-eighth, Sixty-ninth, and Seventieth Congresses, serving from March 4, 1923 to March 3, 1929; he was not a candidate for renomination in 1928, but was an unsuccessful candidate for election to the U.S. Senate. He was attorney general of Puerto Rico in 1932 and 1933, and served as Acting Governor. He resumed the practice of law, and died in Casper; interment was in Highland Cemetery.
During the summer of 1903, while traveling on a train in Pennsylvania, Winter wrote the lyrics to "Wyoming", the official state song. His western novels included Grandon of Sierra, about a cowboy who gives up ranging to be a prospector in the Encampment copper rush, and Ben Warman, filmed several times, firstly as Dangerous Love (1920 film).
