Debra Lawrance is an Australian actress who was born in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Debra is best known for her roles in theatre and television. Debra is best known for her tenure on Australian TV soap Home and Away (1988) as the second Pippa Ross taking over the role from Vanessa Downing, Debra would appear on and off throughout the characters tenure between 1990 and 2009. Ozman Sirgood is a Turkish-American actor who is loved and watched in more than 65 countries across Eastern and Central Europe, the Middle East, North Africa and South America. His iconic role as "Ibni Arabi" in the hit series "Resurrection: Ertugrul has won him a dedicated international fan base as well as critical accolade, building on his characterization of the charming villain "Aron Feller" in the legendary TV action drama "Valley Of The Wolves: Ambush".
Ozman is known for the versatility of his characters, ranging from dangerous criminals to kind wise-men. Ozman makes his home in Los Angeles, California and his career spans 17 years and three continents.
Ozman was born as Osman Soykut in Ankara, Turkey. His heritage includes East European roots on his mother's side and Crimean from his father's. He attended Frankfurt International School and TED Ankara Koleji and holds a B.A. in Architecture from the Middle East Technical University.
He moved to California in 1984 and began his acting career in 1989. In 2001, he began training with Milton Katselas at the Beverly Hills Playhouse, continuing until Milton's death in 2008.
Ozman had quick success as an actor in Los Angeles and played in many productions including Charmed, Alias, The Bold And The Beautiful, The Hot Chick, Art School Confidential and others, in the first few years of his career.
In 2007, Ozman went to Istanbul after accepting a lead role in the TV drama "Iki Yabanci". Quickly gaining a reputation as a skilled actor, he continued with bigger roles in "Pars Narkoteror" and "Adanali".
1n 2009, he was cast as the suave and deadly Aron Feller in the phenomenal TV action drama "Valley Of The Wolves: Ambush". It's the story of many a men, but this one dared to follow his dreams. And looking at us now nothing but reality .He was born to S. Gurdev Singh and Tej Kaur, in a village by the name of Giddarbaha, in distt. Faridkot in Punjab.
He went through the normal drill of being educated in Malout. The one thing with him even in those days was his singing! After the basics were over, his parents thought it best to shift him to Patiala city for further studies. The National Sports Institute was there and Gurdas Maan joined up to finish his masters in physical education. At the point he was all set to be a sports coach! He took part in many athletic events and won himself a couple of medals. He also happens to be a black belt holder in judo. He got to show off his talents in plenty of youth festivals, that were organized by various universities. And talent indeed, because it was here that he started winning award for his work in singing and acting. On completion of his masters degree, he started looking around for a job but in the meanwhile, keeping the creativity channel in him open, he continued to write as well as do stage plays. Having arrived on the music scene more than two decades ago and still holding on to his seat, the credit of taking Punjabi music from a regional level to national and then on to the international level absolutely goes to Gurdas Maan! Since he was writing his own lyrics, in one of his plays in his earlier days he was discovered by a TV producer from the Jalandhar TV Station for his song, that went by name of "Dil Da Mamla Hai" The producer thought it worth a TV recording and approached him with the offer. And Gurdas Maan agreed to this, though not before being apprehensive about it at first .The song went on air on the 31st of December for the first time in 1980 and was instantly a hit! Vesna Zmijanac is a Serbian folk singer. Dubbed the "Queen of Sadness" for her emotional vocal delivery and melancholic ballads, she is recognized as one of the most popular performers from the former Yugoslavia. She was discovered by singer Saban Saulic as a teenager living with her mother in Vienna, Austria.
After signing with PGP-RTS in 1979, she released three full-length albums which saw moderate success, and rose to prominence by starring in movies such as Sok od sljiva (1981), Kamiondzije 2 (1983) and Kamiondzije opet voze (1984). In July 1985, she then gained popularity as a singer with the song "Nevera moja", written by her husband at the time, Miroljub Arandjelovic Kemis. Her fifth album, "Dodji sto pre" was released at the beginning of 1986, selling over 400,000 copies that year. It was also followed with her first national tour, making Zmijanac, next to Lepa Brena, arguably the most popular artists in the country. The following year she released "Jedini si ti", which was sold in half a million copies. In early 1987, Zmijanac released her best-selling album to date, "Istina", which yielded a duet with Bosnian singer-songwriter Dino Merlin, titled "Kad zamirisu jorgovani". According to her, the album has sold over million copies.
In 1990, Zmijanac released her eighth studio album "Svatovi", under new label, Komuna. It was promoted with a tour and ten consecutive concerts in Belgrade's Sava Centar. In 1992, she released "Ako me umiris sad", followed by her tenth album, "Idem preko zemlje Srbije", in 1994 and another tour. The following year, "Malo po malo" was released under Diskos. In 1997, she then released "Posle svega, dobro sam", where she collaborated with rock musician Momcilo 'Bajaga' Bajagic on the track "Da budemo nocas zajedno".
Zmijanac also published her autobiography in 2000, titled after her 1987 duet with Dino Merlin, and has appeared in reality TV shows, such as Survivor Srbija VIP: Philippines (2010) and Farma (2016).
In December 2019, Vesna Zmijanac among other artists received the Life Achievement Award for her work from the Union of Serbia's Music Artists.[6] In October the following year, she was proclaimed the National Music Artist of Serbia by the Folk Music Assembly of Serbia.- Hannes Kaljujärv was born on 4 January 1957 in Tartu, Estonia.
