Milos Stefanovic was born in Belgrade in 1925. He finished elementary and high school. Milos started working at Zastava Film studios as an editor on Movie Journal. He went in Russia in 1944 where he studied film directing at VGIK, from the great film-makers Lav Kulesov and Sergei Eisenstain. Because of political tension between Russia and Yugoslavia, he was deported back to Belgrade in 1945. He finished college in Belgrade at the Drama Academy. Milos Stefanovic was the first director in the world who filmed medical procedure - open heart surgery - for the live TV broadcast. He directed several film documentaries and also TV documentaries for TV Belgrade. He also did the theatre plays all over Yugoslavia. Especially in Bosnia where he also shot his only feature film Zenica (1957). In 2009. Milos Stefanovic died of heart failure.- Lionel J. Toll was born on 21 March 1912.
