Courtney Felicia Fine was born on April 29, 1977 in Tucson, Arizona. The daughter of Dr. Harold Alan Fine and Harriet Sandra Fine, she was also the younger sister of brother Randall Adam Fine. Courtney moved with her family to Lexington, Kentucky shortly after she was born. An exceptional student in grade school, Fine served as a Page in the U.S. House of Representatives at age 16 and was named Lexington's Youth Leader of the Year. Courtney graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania's Anneberg School, where she earned a degree in Communications and Commerce as well as won the best thesis award. After working on the election campaign for New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg and serving as the Director of Marketing in the City's Film & Television Office, Fine moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue her true passion as a creative artist, actress, and musician: She not only wrote, sang, and produced an album, but also starred in her own autobiographical one woman stage show "Me2" and appeared in a few movies and one TV series. Courtney died at the tragically young age of 33 from complications from pneumonia on March 8, 2011 in Los Angeles, California.
