- Kenny Easterday was born in 1974 in West Aliquippa, Pennsylvania with only half a spine, a condition known as sacral agenesis. When he was six months old both of his underdeveloped legs were amputated and the bones were used to reconstruct his spine. He gained some notoriety following the 1988 release of the Canadian movie The Kid Brother (1988), in which he played a fictionalized version of himself. The film developed a small "cult" following in Canada, the US and the UK. To this day, Easterday refuses to use a prosthesis, preferring to walk on his hands or roll around on a skateboard. He was married at the age of 19 to an able-bodied woman named Sarah and often appears on camera as a messenger on The Jerry Springer Show.
- Burlesque dancer Ricki Covette was born Irene Siewert Jewell on February 26, 1925 in Onoway, Alberta, Canada. Covette grew up on a homestead in rural Canada with aspirations of being a singer and dancer. Through a combination of training, hard work, and professionalism, Ricki eventually moved to America to make her dream of becoming a dancer come true. A statuesque blonde who stood at a towering 6'8", Covette was often billed as a Glamazon, an Amazon woman, or The World's Tallest Exotic Dancer in a career as a headliner at nightclubs that flourished and thrived throughout the 1950's, 1960's, and 1970's, with a stellar run of 82 weeks in total at The Show Bar on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, Louisiana rating as a definite career highlight. She was voted Miss Burlesk in 1955 and played Gymnasia in a 1963 touring production of "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum." In the wake of retiring from the burlesque circuit, Ricki went on to work in real estate and, in her later years, was a volunteer at the Costa Mesa Senior Center in Costa Mesa, California. Moreover, Covette donated six of her personal albums to the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History in October, 2014. She died at age 90 on February 12, 2016 in Costa Mesa, California.
- Bob was born in Hollywood and grew up in the Baldwin Hills area in a house his father had built. A natural showman even when he was very young, he would put on shows for the neighborhood kids, charging them a penny to attend. Bob attended Dorsey High School and was active in their drama productions.
During WWII, Bob was a weatherman in the 10th Weather Squadron, 14th Air Force (the "Flying Tigers") in Kunming, China. He was later reassigned to organize the mail for all the units in the China-Burma-India theatre. His first acting "job" was in an Area Entertainment Guild production of "Room Service" for the troops.
Returning to L.A. after the war, Bob attended the Pasadena Playhouse, then also a school of theatre arts, and graduated in 1949. He then went on to be one of the founding members of the Orchard Gables Repertory Theatre Company at the corner of Fountain and Wilcox in Hollywood.
Wanting to manage his own theatre, he purchased property in 1955 and built his own 90-seat theatre with seating "in-the-round." In January of 1956, Bob opened the Horseshoe Stage Theatre on Melrose Avenue in Hollywood where he produced, directed, and starred in plays for many years. The theatre is now known as the Zephyr Theatre.
When not working as an actor or teaching students, Bob could be found traveling in his motorhome, searching for the perfect fishing spot!
After living with some mobility challenges for a couple of years, Bob passed away peacefully February 12, 2016, surrounded by his two sons and their family. - Composer

Marius Van Der Werff was born in Glasgow to a Scottish mother and a Dutch father in 1947. He had two sisters, Agnes (who pre-deceased him) and Maggie. Van Der Werff studied at the Glasgow School of Art where he produced and sold a series of watercolours of flowers, some of the exotic places he loved to spend time in, and the lanes in the West End of Glasgow where he lived.
He began working in television as a production designer at BBC Scotland where he felt he was undervalued and underused which is why he crossed over to STV in the early 1980s when they became part of the ITV network and were hiring talented people from all branches. One of his first assignments was working on Killer (1983), a mini-series which was spun-off two years later into Taggart (1983), one of Britain's longest-running TV dramas and STV's biggest hit. He remained with the series throughout its run.
Later in his career, he was acclaimed for his work on such TV dramas as The Steamie (1988), The Advocates (1991), and most notably Doctor Finlay (1993) in which he lovingly and accurately recreated a post-war Scottish village. This proved to be a difficult endeavour and Van Der Werff's work was made all the more difficult by the numerous TV aerials on the roofs of the houses at the colourful location. His perfectionism made him unpopular with the villagers of Auchtermuchty where the series was filmed but he was widely acclaimed for its believable look.
In his last years, he was ill and relied on the loving help of his partner Alan Mason.- Walter Wittmann was born on 20 December 1935 in Disentis, Switzerland. He died on 12 February 2016.
