Born and raised in Edinburgh, Scotland, Adam Smith is a Scottish Director, documentary maker and former actor. He trained at Edinburgh Napier University where he was awarded a BA HONS degree in Television. He is perhaps best known for directing the Apollo 11 film 'Space Queens'. In his spare time he writes poetry and has performed live on several occasions and made his debut at Edinburgh Pride 2018. Smith is an advocate of the STEM and feminism filmmaking movement.- When Anheuser-Busch chose Amber Smith as the spokesperson for its new Michelob Ultra Amber lite beer, it was on a mission. Through posters, life-size standees and Point-of-purchase promotional materials, Amber's image was plastered across the nation. However, it was the 20-city "Meet Amber" tour that delivered on the campaign title!
A gifted high school student, Amber was discovered at an international modeling convention. The 15-year-old won and soon flew to Paris, where she worked hard and often and established a reputation for being passionate and expressive both on film and in print. Her "exotic" good looks drew the attention of top photographers such as the famous Helmut Newton, but it was her chameleon-like quality that got her on the covers of such prestigious magazines as "Vogue", "Elle", "Esquire", "Maxim" and "Playboy". Amber walked the runway for Chanel and represented Loreal Cosmetics and Wonderbra in their national advertising campaigns.
She then achieved the ultimate accolade for a fashion model: appearing in the coveted role of "Sports Illustrated" magazine's swimwear model. She has produced four award-winning calendars, two nationally released posters and a modeling documentary DVD, "Amber Smith Raw" (available in stores). Amber has already completed two movie scripts and has started on a how-to book that will contain her own stories, detailed experiences and opinions on the modeling and entertainment world.
After ripping through the modeling world, she added acting to her resume. She has worked with such acclaimed directors as Curtis Hanson, Abel Ferrara, Paul Mazursky and Barbra Streisand and landed parts in two Academy Award-winning movies, L.A. Confidential (1997) and American Beauty (1999), as well as a host of others. Her television credits include Just Shoot Me! (1997) and Friends (1994) (as "Amber Smith, Supermodel").
In 2005 E! Entertainment chose Amber for a reality show pilot, titled "The Amber Smith Project," which follows Amber's efforts to open up a modeling agency in Miami Beach. She also filmed yet another pilot, "The Anchorwoman," in which she will take over the life of a broadcast journalist. "The Anchorwoman" is in development.
She launched the 2006 Michelob Ultra Amber Lite beer "Meet Amber" campaign, which was created entirely around her. All promotional materials feature her image, name and signature. The "Meet Amber" national tour was launched the summer of 2006 through the end of the year. - Andria Savio (born February 27, 1963) is an American actress, singer, and artist. She is best known for her role in Stryker. She is most famous for being with movie star legend Tony Curtis.
Early life: Andria Savio was born in Manhattan, New York on February 27, 1963. She was raised as a Catholic in New Canaan, Connecticut, -- where she lived in a beautiful modern house designed by her father Dino Savio - and it was built right next to the famous Philip Johnson Glass House. In fact when Savio was a little girl she would see nuns walking around the house right from her front door--The Glass House was at that time converted into a convent. Andria remembers mostly her artistic career as a child beginning with piano lessons every week with the late surrealist artist Wilma Ervin - and Wilma wrote an art book with Andy Warhol! Without much concern Andria's parents divorced and her mother moved with her to Westport Connecticut and put Andria in a private middle school. Andria Savio is the daughter of Vicki Savio Valley and Dino Savio. Her mother was a young ballerina for The New York City Ballet and awarded best artist of the year from The Museum Of Modern Art in the early seventies. Her mother became a ballet teacher after her choreography days for Off Broadway. During that time her father, also a modern artist, was an important industrial designer for IBM, Seth Thomas and Westinghouse and The Pentagon. Together in theater her parents worked Off Broadway and her mother choreographed the musicals: Cabaret, Carousel, Brigadoon, Hello Dolly, and Man Of La Mancha-- while her father designed the sets for the productions. Her grandmother Eleanor was an original Rockette in the ballet chore of The Ziegfeld Follies and danced with Fred Astaire in Bandwagon as the lead actress on Broadway for one season. Andria's grandmother taught her the Time Step when she was 5. This show business background had inspired Andria to be in Show business. Andria Savio has one brother, Christopher-a Heart Surgery specialist under Yale University and one sister, Laura Strobel, an Author. Andria is the mother of one son, now a veteran with The United States Army. Andria received an award in a national contest in 1980 in Florida for My Commitment to My Country for a speech she wrote for The Veterans of Foreign Wars. Savio's acting studies include studying with the Stella Adler Conservatory of Acting in NYC and Milton Katselas with the Beverly Hills Playhouse with Bill Howe, and The Burt Reynolds Institute For Film And Theater. Savio became a member of SAG from her first feature film Death Screams, and a member of AFTRA for being on General Hospital, but television was never her ambition. It was always to be a movie star. Savio starred in a few commercials one directed by her first director David Nelson, and one starring with Tony Curtis. Personal life: Andria Savio left Hollywood around 1990 with success as a movie star and Fame happened fast. Later in life she was Involved with the presidential campaigns of former Vice President Al Gore and Senator John Edwards, and also worked with the Democratic labor party helping former NASA Astronaut Senator Bill Nelson of Florida. Born during the undisciplined chaos and ridiculous fashion of the 70s to an American Soldier (Smitty aka Sr.) and a South Korean Baptist (Mun Cha), Duncan, like most of us that lived, was a miracle of life. To date, he has never lived up to his potential, citing "one must never charge the battery more than 80%". Nonetheless, his B- effort allowed him to earn a BS from the US Military Academy at West Point, an MS from the Missouri University of Science and Technology, and an MBA from the University of California at San Diego. He was a terrible student, but achieving this superior academic delusion of grandeur without paying a dime and mostly watching the Simpsons is pure genius. For 17 years, Duncan enjoyed playing rugby at various levels, with various organizations, throughout his travels, until one morning he didn't. Throughout his military career as an Enlisted Infantryman, an Army Engineer Officer, and Special Operations Officer he was blessed to "vacation" in the most non-luxurious and hazardous locations of the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Africa. Today, Duncan continues his B-/C+ pursuit of happiness with his service dog, Duchess, aboard his sailboat in Southern California. - Producer

Handsome American actor, playwright and stage director/producer William Gillette was born in Hartford, CT, in 1853. His father Francis was a former United States Senator and crusader for women's suffrage and the abolition of slavery; his mother Elisabeth Daggett Hooker is a descendant of Rev. Thomas Hooker, who either wrote or inspired the first written constitution in history to form a government.
In 1873 William left Hartford to begin his apprenticeship as an actor, briefly working for a stock theatre company in New Orleans and then returning to New England. He made his debut at the Globe Theatre in Boston with Mark Twain's play "The Guilded Age" in 1875. His first major Civil War drama, "Hold by the Enemy", was a major step forward to modern theatre in that it abandoned many crude devices of Victorian melodrama and introduced realism into the sets, props, costumes, sound effects and performances; it was a critical and commercial success in America and Britain.
Gillette is probably best remembered, however, as the first actor to be universally acclaimed for portraying Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's famed detective Sherlock Holmes, playing the role first on stage in 1899 and continuing for more than 35 years. He also wrote many stage versions from Doyle's Sherlock Holmes novels and even starred in the film version, Sherlock Holmes (1916), directed by Arthur Berthelet for the Essanay Film Co. He had previously appeared in two other films, his debut being in J.P. McGowan's The Battle at Fort Laramie (1913) and the following year he played support as Jack Lane in The Delayed Special (1914), both of which starred Helen Holmes and were made for the Kalem Film Co. Gillette also became popular on radio, performing the first radio serial version of Sherlock Holmes in 1930 and in 1935. His last stage appearance was in Austin Strong's "Three Wise Fools" in 1936. He wrote 13 original plays, seven adaptations and some collaborations, encompassing farce, melodrama and novel adaptation. He also wrote two pieces based on the US Civil War, "Held by the Ememy" and "Secret Service", which were highly acclaimed. In 1882 he married Helen Nichols, who died in 1888 from peritonitis; he never remarried.
Gillette died from pulmonary hemorrhage in Connecticut in 1937 at age 83.- Yasmin is a professionally trained Actress and Singer based in North West London in the United Kingdom.
