Known more for his shape and perfect proportions rather than for his size, Berry sculpted one of the greatest physiques in the world. - Bertil Fox was born on November 9, 1951 on the island of St. Kitts, East India. When the boy was just a year old, his parents decided to move to the capital of England London. A little later they again moved to Northampton. Despite the fact that Bertil was born in India, he considered himself a native Englishman, as he lived his whole life there. At the age of 16, inspired by his cousin, Bertil took up bodybuilding. At the age of 18, in 1969, he won the Mister Britain tournament among the juniors of the NABBA Federation. This only added strength and motivation to the athlete and the next years he is training with great zeal. In 1970, Fox once again went to the podium of the same tournament and again became a champion among juniors. In 1971, he is the third time to become a British Mister among juniors, and also wins the tournament "Mister Europe" among juniors. Then the champion takes a break from appearances for as long as five years. In 1976, he debuted in adult competitions. This year can be called triumphant. He won the "Mr. Britannia", "Mr. Europe", won "Mr. World", where he received the title of the most muscular and took the second place at "Mr. Universe". The defeat at Mr. Universes only provoked a bodybuilder. He returned in 1977 and became the absolute champion of "Mr. Universe". In 1978 and 79 Bertil Fox was among professionals at the "Universe Pro" tournament of the NABBA federation and twice became the absolute champion. Since 1981, Bertil moved to the professional division of the IFBB federation and performed there until 1994. Twice he finished second - in 1982 at the "Night of Champions" and in 1983 at the "Grand Prix of Switzerland", where he bypassed Lee Haney himself. Five times the champion took part in "Mr. Olympia" and his best result - the 5th place in 1983. Despite the fact that Bertil did not win any professional tournament, he managed to win fame and popularity. Fox was very flashy character, which would later lead him to tragedy, although at the competitions it helped him. Experts said that if Fox became a professional IFBB five years earlier, he could easily become a Mr. Olympia. And so he spent his best years on amateur bodybuilding. After the end of his career, he returned to St. Kitts, East India and opened his sports hall. September 30, 1997, the fate of the champion is very abruptly changed. He was convicted of double murder. The victims were his twenty-year-old wife Leisa Braun, who was the beauty queen and her 36-year-old mother Violet Brown. The crime scene was the hometown of St. Kitts, the weapon of the crime was a revolver registered on Bertil Fox. On May 22, 1998, the sportsman was sentenced to death by hanging. On September 27, 2002, the sentence was changed to life imprisonment. Bertil repeatedly applied for a review of the case, but so far the results have not brought.

Her powerlifting accolade led to her being invited by producer George Butler to take part in the film Pumping Iron II: The Women, which was being shot around the Cesar's World Cup being held in Las Vegas in December 1983. Despite years of attempting to achieve higher scores on the femininity aspect of the contests with measures including a nose job, hair bleaching, and slimming down her physique by losing muscle, Francis still failed to take first place at the major competitions. However, after successfully developing methods of achieving a more symmetrical physique while maintaining the size built from her powerlifting background she won the World Championship in 1987. She continued to experiment with her physique, leading to a disappointing 1990 Ms. Olympia. There, she was criticized as not having the fullness or muscularity compared to winner Lenda Murray, and subsequently worked on becoming as massive and symmetrical as possible for the 1991 Olympia. After the ensuing 2nd-place finish and resulting controversy, she retired from bodybuilding.

Thirty years ago when Charles Clairmonte took pro bodybuilding by storm, he was virtually unknown. With his aesthetic yet densely developed physique, he'd had great success in an inferior European organization. In 1993, not only did Clairmonte qualify for the Olympia, but he finished an eyeopening seventh. Then he completed one of the greatest 12-month turnarounds ever by winning four out of five European Grand Prix contests, including-get this-the English Grand Prix! That's right, one year after finishing last, behind nobodies, he was first, ahead of legends, including Flex Wheeler and Kevin Levrone (who were second and fifth, respectively, at the 1993 Olympia). He joined his countryman, Dorian Yates, in bodybuilding's upper echelon.
He stayed there for two more years. Although he never won another pro show, Clairmonte landed in the top three seven times in 1994 and 1995, including the 1995 Arnold Classic. His placings faded over the next two years as mass monsters dominated, and he competed for the final time in 1997 at age 34. Having quickly traveled full circle, his final hurrah was, appropriately, the English Grand Prix, where he was next to last, leaving observers to wonder if they had imagined how great he had been four years prior. But he was great.
He had one of the most proportional physiques of the era, including a chiseled slab of abs, and yet at six feet and a lean 245, he had enough mass to hang with Goliaths in the early '90s. As that decade progressed and size standards grew, he bowed out rather than try to pack on many more pounds. Clairmonte's pro career lasted a mere six years, but, with his four wins in the Fall of 1993, those years included one of the most stunning months of all time. - Chris "The Real Deal" Cormier is an IFBB professional bodybuilder from Palm Springs, California. He ranks among the best professional bodybuilders of all time. Growing up, Chris excelled at sports but was very shy when he wasn't competing. He was heavily involved with his school weight lifting club and competed against lifters from others schools- coming 4th in his first contest. As he developed his weight lifting knowledge and understanding of nutrition, his physique improved massively. He took his pro card in 1993 and would compete at 70 professional competitions; taking the overall title in eleven and placing in the top 5 52 times. Fast forward to today, and Chris has dedicated himself to the sport for life. He loves helping other people reach their fitness goals while working on his own physique. Chris was born in Palm Springs, California in 1967. He loved playing sports during school and joined his high school weightlifting team as soon as he could. He would go on to compete in interscholastic tournaments against the best young lifters in the state. Chris says that many people don't know how shy he is. He remembers that he was going to compete in his first bodybuilding competition when he was 15, but "chickened out" because he was scared of the posing. Up until the end of his career, every competition was terrifying, but he hid it well every time. For Chris, 1993 would be a huge year. He was invited to return to the same competition and prepared eagerly with the anticipation of doing better than his 4th place. His cutting preparation was the best he had done yet and the judges noticed. He managed to take an incredible first place trophy at this event. This gave him his fist major win, as well as his Pro Card, which would allow him to compete at IFBB competitions nationwide and internationally. Chris began competing right away. In 1994, he posed at 5 competitions. He managed to place in the top ten in all of them, taking a 2nd at the 1994 Ironman Pro Invitational which allowed him to qualify for the Mr Olympia - a dream come true. The Mr Olympia is perhaps the most prestigious tournament of all time and Chris stood alongside the best in the sport. He ultimately came in 6th place, but managed to beat the likes of Nasser El Sonbaty and Ronnie Coleman. Some of the highlights of his 30 year bodybuilding career was a 4 year 1st place run at the Ironman Pro invitational. He also won the Australian Grand Prix consecutively and stood on the Mr Olympia stage 10 times.
