- A film describing the journey of a blind person through London based on the sounds they hear.
- Holtz, Schultz and Schmaltz are three friends. They attend a meeting of spiritualists and discuss things pertaining to the other world. They separate and go home. Holtz upon his arrival is shocked to find upon his opening his door, a large black coffin. Frightened out of his wits, he runs from the house. He meets Schultz, and Schultz doubting his story, accompanies him home. He sees the same sight, and they both run away. They then go to Schultz's home, and the same thing awaits them there. They run again, and meeting Schmaltz, tell him of their strange experiences. He accuses them of having the meeting they attended on their mind, but agrees to go with them to Schultz's room. He goes, and he also sees this gruesome object. He takes them to his room and there also is a strange black coffin. They run out and get a policeman. All four come back, and after much hesitation on the part of all, the officer goes to the coffin to see what it contains. He finds a letter from a friend of Schmaltz, who is an undertaker, explaining that as he is retiring from business, he is presenting his friends with a coffin, in the belief that they will need it some day.
- Jim Rathburn, foreman of the quarry gang, and bully, refuses his dog food. The poor animal begs pleadingly for something to eat. Not satisfied with starving the dog, Ruthburn ties a stick of dynamite to his tail, and sets the fuse on fire. The bully takes to his heels, and the gang follows as the dog pursues them. The crowd enter the dynamite shed and the dog crawls under the door. Frantic, the men rush outside, lock the door behind them, unknowingly leave Rathburn to his fate. The dog crawls out from under the door, leaving behind the lighted dynamite fuse. A moment later the shed and its contents are blown into atoms.
- New Chef takes on the culinary world by storm.
- The deacon is a reformer, and is appointed the head of the Purity League, composed of the old maids of the town. A poster of a dancer is condemned by the league. The deacon goes to an amusement park and there sees the original of the poster standing on a platform during a ballyhoo, and sneaks in and gets a front seat. The dancer's efforts are met with a storm of applause from the deacon, who meets the girl after the show and becomes badly smitten, and in a moment of weakness is persuaded to have his tintype taken with the girl in costume. Some time later the show hits the deacon's home town, and the Purity League tries to prevent the performance. The arguments with the management reach an exciting stage, when the girl comes up and shows the picture of the deacon. The leaguers turn upon him, strip him of his badge and assist his wife in teaching him a thorough lesson.

- Olive reads a ghost story to Popeye and Bluto. Bluto leaves and rigs a haunted house and lures them to it. But they quickly discover him and, even better, a can of invisible paint, and they get the better of him.

- George and Mabel are in love. Mabel's father is opposed to George and his suit. George writes Mabel a letter, asking her to meet him at Darling's restaurant. Father gets hold of the letter, and decides to meet George himself, taking with him a large club. Mabel warns George. George disguises himself as a blonde lady and keeps the appointment. George flirts with father and they dine together. Father is very much smitten, and George steals father's hat. George then runs out on father, who does not know what to make of it until he arrives at home, only to find George and Mabel planning their wedding day. Father raises a row until George threatens to expose his wild actions and career in the restaurant, and father has no other course left open to him than the giving of the parental blessing.
- Starlight, a young Indian girl, is sent to gather wood for the camp. She meets Dick, a young settler, who befriends her and wins her gratitude, which ripens into love. White Eagle, a jealous Indian brave, spies upon Dick and watches him from the brush. The settler unfortunately mistakes the Indian's headdress for a bird and kills him with his rifle. In order to shield Dick, Starlight covers the Indian's body with branches, but later she is drawn by her superstitions to visit the spot. The Indians discover the body of the dead brave and declare war on the white men. Seeing the Indians depart on the warpath, Starlight makes a desperate ride to warn Dick. A terrific battle takes place and the Indians are routed, but not until Starlight has given up her life in defense of the settlers.
- Ajax the killer gorilla had escaped from the zoo, As a prank, Donald and three nephews scared each other, But suddenly, the real Ajax appeared, So how can they subdue him?
- Popeye takes Olive to the zoo, where she's spotted by zookeeper Bluto, who tries various stunts to impress her and/or get rid of Popeye. But Olive walks into the leopard cage, and before Bluto can get into his armored suit to save her, Popeye has eaten his spinach.
- Bugs fights the legendary giant. In the historical context of World War II much fun is made of the giant's claimed superiority over the more clever and fun-loving rabbit.
- A community of mice and birds are living and playing peacefully until the arrival of the title character: a mechanical cat who wants to eat so he picks a bird to take to his castle. All of the bird's friends follow the victim there but many are given electrical shocks when they confront the cat. A mouse who lives in a supermarket hears a distress signal on his radio and, after eating Limburger cheese, turns himself into the costumed superhero Mighty Mouse (though he was known as Super Mouse at the time). As he flies to the castle, Mighty fights and defeats the mechanical cat as the head falls off and the bird escapes making possible another happy ending.

- The fox, determined to keep the Crow away from his garden, reads a box, "How to Fox Crows", which explains, "Crows are allergic to scarecrows." So he offers to hire a scarecrow willing to take the job. The crow disguises himself as a scarecrow, is hired, and instantly devours the fox's entire farmyard crop and even gets the fox blown up in a dynamite trap. Later, the bandaged fox hears a radio broadcast saying the scarecrow he hired is really the crow and suggests he get even with the fowl. He disguises himself as "Sidney Scarecrow" and chases the crow to an amusement park.
- Every person has heard of the carrier pigeon, but few have ever had an opportunity to study the nature and care of these interesting birds, because they are far from common in the United States. The film treats the subject thoroughly, through the different stages of growth of a pair of squabs, their early training, the interesting method of wedging a rolled message to one of the pigeon's tall feathers, the remarkable system employed to determine the winner of a carrier pigeon match and one scene showing the start of some ten thousand pigeons in a race.

- This starts off as an adaptation of Robert Service's poem 'The Shooting of Dan McGrew', complete with a literal depiction of a man with one foot in the grave, but when Dan McGoo turns out to be Droopy, it turns into another Droopy-versus-the Wolf gagfest.

- Three witches need a worm to complete their potion; they dispatch a raven to catch one, and he goes after a bookworm. He chases the worm into the horror section, where the monsters attack but soon, Paul Revere rides Black Beauty to the rescue, along with the Police Gazette, and other assorted war heroes; eventually, the Boy Scouts build a match-stick bridge, leading the worm to safety.
- A man toils at building an elaborate contraption. As he builds you begin to determine what exactly it is he is building. It is a mousetrap, only the mouse it would catch would have to be the same size as him. Perhaps that is the point.
- Hearing that silver foxes are all the rage in high society, a fox paints himself silver and gets himself trapped, finding out too late that it's only his fur anyone is interested in.

Before he arrives, we tour the house and hear some evil-sounding cackles, which, it turns out, are coming from a radio one that a ghost was listening to. The ghost then sings the title song while getting ready for a night of haunting, just as Porky arrives. The ghost invites him in with a woman's voice, then disappears. Porky comes in and gets spooked by some flapping curtains. When he comes back in, the ghost puts a couple frogs into a pair of shoes and sets them loose; they collect a hatrack and a curtain, forming a sort of black ghost that ultimately scares Porky upstairs right into the arms of the ghost. He beats a hasty retreat...
- A look at Mexico City, with emphasis on its history, monuments, economy, leisure, and commitment to democracy.
- Because he is a drunkard, Black Barton is despised by his friends and hated by his family, whom he hates in turn because they do not understand that he fights against drink until he's nearly insane. His son Ted loves but fears him and shrinks when he is nearby. The father loves his son and wants to be good to him, but he's filled with brutal rage when the boy shrinks from him. Barton goes to a saloon and drinks all day. A man Barton's wife had known in her girlhood comes to see her. She is excited and pleased to see him. The children like him and he is much taken with them. A neighbor on the way to the saloon sees the wife and her friend, and when he reaches the saloon he tells Black Barton, who starts home with the intent to kill the stranger. He comes to the house and looks in the window. He sees his wife laughing happily with the man and the children playing. He enters the house and the look of misery comes back to the wife's face and the children cower in fear. Barton realizes that without him his family has a chance for happiness. He turns abruptly and goes from the house. His son follows him and tries to call him back, unsuccessfully. Arriving at the summit of a great precipice, he stands a moment, with his face turned towards the heavens, then plunges over the cliff and bounds down the rocky side to his death, hundreds of feet below. His body is found later by a party of prospectors. They realize as they look, that "The Brute" had a redeeming trait in his nature after all.

- A young German boy is indoctrinated into conforming with the Nazi social mindset.
- The son of a poor inn keeper decides to leave his home to seek his fortunes in a foreign clime. Bidding his mother good-bye, she puts a locket around his neck as a remembrance. Tears roll by and the folks have not heard from their son. In the meantime, the son has struck it rich, but he has neglected his parents, and in a quiet moment, he remembers the locket his mother gave him. He desires to return home, but to surprise his parents, he writes them he is coming home poor instead of rich. Tears have changed his appearance and on his return his parents do not recognize him. He rents a room from them without telling who he is. In paying for his room, he shows a large sum of money, which tempts the mother to steal, so she can have money to welcome her poor son's return. She enters his room and kills him. She then discovers it was her own son by the locket hanging around his neck. The sheriff arrives and takes her away. While pleading with the sheriff, she awakes and finds it all a dream. The son comes down and tells her who he is.
- Four sailors enter a Singapore dive, meet a Chinese girl from Brooklyn, and find there's more to her than meets the eye. Two songs.
- The gang puts a phony absent note on their teacher's desk so they can go to the circus, then have to get it back when they find out that the class was going on a field trip to the circus anyway.
- An Italian makes love to a girl and is repulsed. She favors another man, and the Italian uses drastic measures to rid himself of his rival. He finally becomes angered at the girl and kidnaps her. He ties her to a post and arranges an infernal machine, attached to a clock, which will shoot off a revolver at 12 o'clock. The weapon is pointed at the girl, who makes frantic efforts to escape as the hands creep toward the fatal hour. The lover makes frantic efforts to rescue his sweetheart, but is driven away by the burly villain. The police are notified, and have all manner of mishaps in reaching the scene. The lover finally secures a big magnet, which he sticks through the barred window at one minute of twelve, and it pulls the bands back. The villain listening, with watch in hand, for the sound of the shot, is nonplussed when 12 o'clock passes without a report, and he enters. He readjusts the device, and again the lover keeps the hands from recording twelve o'clock. After many amusing incidents the police finally break into the house and snatch the girl away "in the nick of time," as the pistol is fired, shooting the villain in the leg.
- After his daughter's return the jeweler attempted to break the partnership he had with the crook. His partner, however, won the girl's love, and threatened to expose the father if he attempted to break off the match. By a clever ruse the father set the gangsters against their leader. His plan did not prove altogether successful.
- From the dungeon where the lean beasts prowled, Hassan Bey summoned from her young lover's arms the old rug maker's daughter. Still she was obdurate. In his madness, he had poisoned his other love with the deadly sting of a serpent. His fury spent, he fell from bey to man, and sought to atone according to his light.
