- Two criminal gangs are ruthlessly fighting for a 1-million dollar check that, purely by chance, got into the flat of shy high school teacher George Camel. Arya suggests a decoupling party to announce their divorce. This would present the divorce as a happy thing and that's the message that Rohini would get. Arya can't park his car, so he gets frustrated and visits Ganesh's home in hopes of bringing him back. He goes to the village and asks for directions. the villagers ask him for the full address or the full name of Ganesh, either of which Arya doesn't know. Arya ends up making fun of the villagers, and abuses them, who turns out to be the village chief. The villagers chase Arya and Shruti in their jeeps as they try to escape the village. They end up running into Ganesh, who cools the matter down by explaining to the village chief that "F**k you" is normal language for the rich, and should not be taken personally at all Ganesh takes Arya home, making him drive and he sits in the back seat. He asks if Arya knows his last name (which he doesn't), but forgives Arya when Arya asks what his last name is and they both have been seeing each other daily for the last 10 yrs. Ganesh returns to work and agrees to put deodorant. Shruti and Arya attend Basu's photo gallery. Arya remembers how he gifted Masha a pendant that night and said that he was compensating her for sex. Masha thought that Arya thinks of her as a prostitute and kicks him out. Shruti also remembers that when Lee approached to kiss her, she said she couldn't do it and backed off. Basu has a showcase of a banana and an avocado, which represents the food of the rich and the poor. His masterpiece is himself, standing on a podium with a glass of wine, ignoring everyone as a reminder of today's self-indulgent lives Arya brings Ganesh in and gets him to eat the banana. He then asks Ganesh to approach Basu and talk to him about sponsoring his daughter for college. Basu, in his masterpiece, ignores Ganesh and Ganesh ends up slapping him publicly for ignoring the plight of the poor. Arya giggles with Shruti all the way home.
- Jancsi Oláh is in the transitional phase between adolescence and adultness. He is born in 1938, and is now getting his first employment as an electronic engineer. On some TV-screens he happens to see a young lawyer, Éva Halk, who arrests his attention. In his imagination she is the most interesting woman he ever saw. Jansci is part of a closely knit gang of young engineers. They see the older engineers as mediocre, and have grand ideas about developing new inventions together. With changing living conditions the five friends start to grow apart. At a party Jancsi suddenly meets Éva Halk. They fall in love, and find common memories in the engagement in The Pioneer Railway at the age of 12. Both of them also chose to stay in Hungary in '56, when many of their friends fled the country. The sudden death of the gang member Laci in leukemia is a hard blow for them all. The fear of death grabs Éva and Jancsi. They start seeing each other as obstacles to their own development, and drift apart.
