And as the contractions get closer and more severe, they all head off to the hospital where things grow even tenser when Charlotte and Dr. Bryan square off. Finally, as her family arrives to help out, too, Tracy prepares for her baby's arrival.

With only a few days left to accept the offer, Tracy seeks an ex-boyfriend's legal advice. While she's glad to hear that Rick is happy to help them negotiate with Lloyd, Tracy is nonetheless stunned to discover that he's getting married. As Tracy comes to grips with Rick's engagement and Charlotte realizes the mistake she's made by giving up on Dr. Bryan, both women look to put their business deal back on track. But after Charlotte encourages Tracy to candidly evaluate her strengths and weaknesses, neither is in any mood to be partners. With some help from Rick, Tracy and Charlotte head back to see Lloyd with their answer. After refusing the terms of his deal, they make it clear that if Lloyd won't negotiate with them, Billy will almost certainly get more involved. Finally, after playing hardball with Lloyd produces the desired result, Tracy calls Vince for a Valentine's Day date.
