- A chivalrous British officer takes the blame for his cousin's embezzlement and journeys to the American West to start a new life on a cattle ranch.

- American animal trapper Frank Buck travels with Ali, his "number one boy," on an expedition into the Malayan jungle. From their jungle headquarters just north of Singapore, Frank, Ali and a team of native helpers roam the area from Northern Johore to Perak in search of interesting wild animals, reptiles and birds. Hoping to find a tiger, Buck captures a monitor lizard and a black leopard, while another black leopard narrowly escapes an encounter with a giant python and then battles a bigger and stronger tiger. After trapping a spotted leopard, Frank adopts a baby honey bear and a baby elephant. The team catches an orangutan, but the tiger eludes their camouflaged pit. Meanwhile, Frank visits the "bathing festival" of a local tribe and watches as tribesmen kill an intruding spotted leopard with blow darts. The tiger then meets an enormous regal python, who has just crushed a crocodile, and fights to a draw with it.
- Noted gunman Black Jack and his friends arrive and take jobs on the Allen ranch. Allen's hands have quit and his cattle are being rustled. When one of Black Jack's friends is killed by the rustlers, he finds the killer and when they fight his Marshal's badge drops out and Ruby, the leader of the rustlers, picks it up. With his identity now known she sets a trap for him.

- Chasing a gambler that stole money, Tom Larkin gets his horse shot out from under him. Meeting an outlaw with a horse, after a fight Tom rides away on that horse. Arriving in town he is mistaken for the outlaw and offered a job of killing a man. But the man is the father of the girl that Tom's money was to go to but was stolen by the gambler.
- Goldie is a young girl who was taken in by her aunt after her mother died in Paris , brought to USA and lived until 19 with her aunts family. They don't understand her and call her a hussy and so she won't stay any longer and sets off for her dreams in Hollywood.....

Tom poses as one of the outlaws in an attempt to rescue her.

The request is denied by a self-styled efficiency expert who also tags Rodney for the glue factory in the process.

- Frank Buck and his native crew hunt the jungles of the Far East to capture wild animals for American zoos. Buck first traps a 300-pound python, then a Bird of Paradise. Buck comes on a baby armor-plated rhinocerous as it is being attacked by a tiger. Buck shoots the tiger to save the baby rhino, then amputates its mangled ear. Returning to camp, they find a 24-foot python, which they shoot out of a tree and bag with a net. To snare monkeys, Buck sets up a huge net and lures them with food such as tapioca. Next, Buck snares a sixteen-foot crocodile and another python, which had bitten and encoiled itself around his helper Ali. Buck then enters a deep Malaysian jungle to seek a tiger. With the use of a cage and the help of natives, he finally captures it.
- When her father decides to flee to England, young Sylvia Scarlett must become Sylvester Scarlett and protect her father every step of the way, with the questionable help of plenty others.
- Beans flies to the frozen north with Ham and Ex as stowaways. They explore an old pirate ship where the crew have been frozen in time. A lit stove thaws them out and a chase ensues.
- World War I, apparently. There is a series of quick blackout gags, including a soldier that throws the pin, is blown sky-high by the grenade, and is caught in a net by an ambulance driver; one soldier's encounters with very smart bullets; a machine gunner with the jitters. Porky leads a charge, but with no support from his company, he runs back and dives under Beans' bunk. After a quick chorus of "You're in the Army Now," a messenger pigeon drops in with news that General Hardtack is being held prisoner. They dash off in a motorcycle/sidecar, chased by another smart bullet, and arrive in the nick of time to dispatch the general's captors. They fly off in a plane and get shot down to end up together in the hospital.
- Uncle Beans is tasked with babysitting Ham and Ex at the fire station.
- The horse and a dog Lightning share the same birthday. Both are born in captivity, but end up escaping to the wilderness where they become close friends. When wolves attack a herd of wild horses, Lightning and Warrior team up to save them. When they return to domesticity, Warrior is trained to race by the Bentons. George Mason, a wicked gambler, attempts to stop Warrior from winning. However, Lightning tries to prevent the activities of Mason and his henchman Crane.
- A shrewd millionaire who owns races horses for publicity for his automobile business, claims ownership of a female horse trainer's thoroughbred in order to get the trainer.
- An ex-con, just out of prison, and his wife meet a screen writer on the train and decide that, since he's writing about crime without knowing much about it, collaborating with him would be better than starting a duck farm. Things get a bit sticky when the real gangsters show up and want to know how Hollywood knows so much about them.
- A young singer, Marge Dexter, becomes involved in trouble when she works in a nightclub in which two of the band-members are in reality undercover-police officers who believe that the club is the headquarters of a dangerous gang of crooks.
- New York city reporter Bill Terry (Allan Lane and his photographer-assistant "Candid" Perry (Jack Carson) follow an eloping heiress to a small New York town where he hears the marriage license clerk, Jud Holcomb (Victor Moore), give advice to the eloping couple, and he learns that no couple who has received a license from Jud has ever been divorced. Bill writes a story and Jud becomes a celebrity. Bill falls in love with Jud's daughter, Nancy (Vickie Lester), and local attorney Lloyd Wilson (Vinton Hayworth) finds he has become a jilted suitor. Jud is pleased as he dislikes Wilson because he is too friendly with roadhouse owner and political power-holder Joe Selby (Richard Lane), who controls Mayor Frisbee (Frank M. Thomas), Commissioner Perkins (Bryant Washburn) and Police Chief Hardy (Cecil Kellaway). Bill and Candid recognize Selby as a former NY gangster who had framed his partner Frankie Spencer and then gone away with Frankie's girl friend Bella Lawson (Kay Sutton), who is singing in Joe's nightclub. Jud runs for mayor on a reform ticket, but Selby kills Frankie and frames Jud for it.
- While Muggsy implores Alfalfa to use her extra ticket to go to the movies with her, Alfalfa patiently waits for Darla outside the theater, unaware that Darla is going to go to the movies with Butch, with Butch using Alfalfa's ticket. A dejected Alfalfa ends up going into the movie and sitting with Muggsy, right next to Darla and Butch. Alfalfa can't help but daydream during the movie, inserting himself and his friends into the dream, which mirrors the action in the western on screen: Alfalfa as the good guy cowboy, Butch as the bad guy criminal, and Darla as the ingénue who wants to marry the cowboy but may be forced to marry the bad guy under force. Alfalfa's dream may show who the hero of the story really is.
- Alfalfa, Butch and Waldo compete for Mayor for a Day. Whoever becomes mayor gets to take Darla to the Strawberry Festival.
- Spanky and Alfalfa do a show based on the "Aladdin's Lamp" story with Darla in the cast, but Darla doesn't want to participate.
