- An orphan named Surya raised in a slum befriends a good crime boss named Devaraj and works for him. Their existence is threatened when a new honest district collector arrives.

After recuperating, Dev is devastated to find out that Maya and Shiv Kumar are in love with each other. What impact will this have on Dev and his brother on one hand, and what of his career in music?

Amit agrees to do so, and everything goes according to plan - until a real and amorous Champak Boomia shows up - resulting in hilarious chaos.
- Shekhar Kumar lives a solitary life and earns his living sculpting, as he is blind. One day he meets with lovely Kalpana Choudhry, both fall in love with each other, and eventually get married. After their marriage they decide to go on a cruise for their honeymoon. It is here that Shekhar finds out that Kalpana left him and went out one night with another male named Prem Oberoi, with whom she in love with at one time. When he confronts her and asks her if she married him out of pity, she denies it. The next day, Kalpana does not find Shekhar in his room and goes looking for him, and asks the ships' captain and crew for help. They do find Shekhar as well as Prem's dead body. Shekhar confesses that he had killed Prem, so he is held in custody and turned over to the police when the ship lands. In Court, Shekhar enters a guilty plea and asks for quick justice. Advocate Mathur is appointed as his defense lawyer, but gets no co-operation from Shekhar, as such Justice Rajvansh has now to decide whether Shekhar should hang or be sentenced in prison for life.

While Ashok realizes it is not worthwhile to pursue a criminal career, and becomes a police inspector. Kishore is now known as the notorious Baghi Sitara, and Ashok is assigned the task of apprehending him. The two do not know who the other is. Kishore comes to know of this assignment and his men kidnap Ashok, but Ashok manages to escape. Kishore must kill Ashok in order to carry out his nefarious activities. After three years the two have an emotional meeting, delighted to see other. What will be the outcome when they come to know that they each other's mortal enemies?

Asha gamely puts up with the workplace harassment, with a hidden agenda of setting things right for Shobana's marriage. An elaborate charade ensues to teach Prem a lesson in humiliation. When he fails in seduction, is abduction the only option?
- Police Inspector Saeed Rehman (Aloknath) is an honest police officer in the city's police force. As he continued to work without accepting any bribes, he became a liability to some of his colleagues, including Inspector N.A. Pradhan (Shafi Inamdar), who frames him for a crime Saeed did not commit and gets him dismissed from the police force. Saeed vows to avenge this humiliation, and enlists the help of Rakesh (Akshay Anand), who in turn enlists the aid of his beloved, Amita (Chandni). During the course of trying to expose Inspector Pradhan, they come across the real kingpin behind Pradhan, names the notorious Raunakbhai (Paresh Rawal). And nothing comes in the way of Raunakbhai, as Saeed, Rakesh, and Amita will soon find out, as he has incriminating evidence against the Chief Minister of the State, as well as other dignitaries.
- The police are called to investigate the death of a woman who was killed during a riot by a stone thrown by an agitated person. She was known in the community as "Sardari Begum", a popular singer and courtesan in her time. This story chronicles her youth, her contacts, and her lifestyle.

She pushes Deepak in the pond but next moment she is normal again. Mini's friend, Rashmi also gets inexplicably killed and her neck is twisted backwards. While cops suspect Mini to be behind it when she twists the neck of her doll in a similar way, the strange events lead Mr Sharma to take professional from a psychiatrist. Mrs Sharma though is sure her daughter is possessed and takes help of an exorcist Sharji.
- After the passing away of his wife, Sudha, widower Rajat Sharma looks after their only child, Munna, as well as his younger college-going brother, Kundan. He works as a Customs Officer at Bombay Airport and is known for his honesty. He meets with an attractive Air India Airhostess, Roopa, and both fall in love with each other. Rajat and his boss, Satyam Malhotra, are concerned about the smuggling of diamonds from Singapore, but despite of their best efforts have been unable to apprehend the smugglers. Little do they know that the diamonds are being smuggled by none other than Roopa herself, taking advantage of her friendship with Rajat. And assisting her are Kundan, her Singapore based sister's Seema's husband, Gupta, and a reputed businessman, Dinesh Patel, who claims to be a friend of Rajat. When Rajat finds a diamond in his apartment, he starts to suspect Roopa, when she lands, he searches her and finds diamonds in two dolls. The question remains, what will Rajat do now - turn a nelson's eye or turn in his sweetheart to the authorities - unknowingly opening a Pandora's box that may well result in the arrest of Gupta, Dinesh, and Kundan as well.
- Kishorilal wants an Indian bride for his westernised son. He gets him engaged to Ganga, his friend's daughter, and brings her to USA. But she shares a deeper bond with Arjun, Kishorilal's foster son.
- Orphaned Raju, in the company of four elephants, has to perform with them at street corners, in order to keep alive. Slowly he amasses a fortune, and is able to build his own private zoo, housing tigers, lions, bears, and of course the four elephants. He treats all the animals as his friends. He meets with Tanu, and both fall in love. Tanu's dad, Ratanlal, is opposed to this alliance, but subsequently relents, and permits the young couple to get married. Tanu is unhappy with the amount of time Raju spends with his animal friends, and this causes some bitterness between them. Things do not improve when a child is born, as Tanu fears that one day the child will be harmed by one of the animals, and hence Raju is told to make a choice between his animal friends or his wife and son.
- Ramanbhai is the criminal don of Bombay, and most criminal activities are linked indirectly to him. He has a rival in Vilas Pandey, who is furious with Ramanbhai, and wants to get a larger part of his share from the wealth generated by crime. Ramanbhai's attempts to woo a woman, Pooja, are met with oppostion from Pooja's boyfriend, Aditya, and this results in Aditya, Pooja, Malika, and Rajesh running for their lives, as they know Ramanbhai will leave no stone unturned in order to hunt Aditya down, and make him pay for daring to oppose the underworld king.
- Raj likes to gamble and place bets about virtually anything, including befriend an attractive woman, Pinky, and pretending to her brother, while carrying on his romance with his sweetheart, Sapna Singh. The second time Raj sees Pinky is in a coffin being carried to her grave, while he consoles her dad, someone shoots him dead, leaving Raj to take the blame. The third time he sees Pinky singing and dancing at a New Year's Party; the 4th time he sees her posing in a photograph with Sapna; and the 5th time he is introduced to a very much alive Pinky by Sapna, where she refuses to recognize him, and shortly thereafter she is found dead in Sapna's house; and the 6th time both Sapna and he find her lifeless body hanging from the ceiling. As this mystery deepens, the Police want to question Raj about the two deaths - while Raj himself keeps on getting deeper and deeper in a mystery that may well end up taking his very own life.
- Vijay has been assigned the task of building a bridge in a small community, that will link China with India. Vijay finds out that the task is an uphill one, as people living on both sides do not get along with the other, and will do nothing to assist. However, Vijay persists, and is able to convince villagers on the Indian side about the benefits of this bridge. As for the people on the Chinese story, is another story altogether, as they are ruled by a cruel and self-serving emperor, Deng Do Rani, who sends armed men and women to resist any effort to build this bridge. A group of these men, and a woman named Soo Reni are captured and held for questioning. Vijay and Soo Reni fall in love, and Soo Reni decides to assist Vijay in his task. It is then she realizes that she has alienated herself from her very own people, who have now been issued orders to kill her on one hand, and is regarded with distrust and suspicion by the people on the Indian side on the other. This movie contains a once popular song "Mera naam aao, mere pas aao, tera naam aao toh mera naam jaoh, o tera mera milan bada mushkeel hai...", which has been edited and "Mera naam aao" has been removed.

- Biology Professor Laxmi, in the company of nine of her students, and a convent nun, Sophia, go on a field trip in Kerala, Southern India. Upon arrival, they decide to stay there at a Public Rooming House, which also happens to house another group of students, this time all male, headed by Retired Colonel M.K. Das. After several misunderstandings both the groups compromise and decide to pass the rest of their temporary stay in peace. But fate has other plans for them, for Sophia is killed, apparently murdered by a zombie-like creature, dressed in black, who lives in a nearby grave-yard. Before the police and the others could react, a male student is killed. Three male students do encounter this creature, but it manages to over-power all three, and no amount of force or bullets can stop it. It's main motive seems to kill anyone who stands in it's way, including the police!
- Secret Service Agent, Karan Menon (Kay Kay) has been assigned the task of penetrating the gang and winning the confidence of underworld don, Shastri (Vallabh Vyas). Karan does so with ease, however, problems arise when he falls for Shastri's deputy's Girish (Prashant Narayan) sister, Padmini (Jaya Seal). He then starts to sympathize with Shastri and Girish and attempts to convince his Department, in vain. His Department assumes that he is now a out of control rogue agent, and he stops getting any support from them. And at the same time he must face the wrath of Shastri and Girish when they find out that they have been harboring a policeman in their midst.
- Ajay alias Munna Babu is a semi-senile, gentle but naive young man who has a wealthy family estate. His employees and alleged well-wishers (Arjun Singh, Jatha Shankar, Munishi Gurbachan, Bhairav) conspire against him and introduce him to his long-estranged mother, Shakuntala, and brother, Vijay. Munna is overjoyed, not knowing that they are devious impersonators. This joy is quite short-lived, as they soon show their true colors, and Munna gets killed. His restless spirit seeks out his real brother and appeals to him to avenge his death. Vijay, at first, thinks he is hallucinating, but when his mother confirms that he indeed had a twin brother, he agrees to accompany Munna's spirit back to where he was killed, and thus assist him complete his vengeance. Things do not go as planned, and Vijay himself becomes their victim, and may face the very same fate as Munna.
- Multi-millionaire widower Kishan Singh prepare a will which states that his ancestral property is equally divided among his two sons, Gajjan and Dulla while the son of Gajjan, Shravan shall inherit the farm land. Enraged at not willing anything to his three sons, Thade, Dara and Chhote, Dulla confronts his father which leads to an argument leading to violence and Kishan is killed in the process. Dulla is then apprehended by the police and is jailed leaving his sons to be raised by Gajjan. Years later Shravan meets with a poor young woman, Paramjit alias Paro and both fall in love leading to marriage. Eventually Dulla's sentenced gets completed and he joins the family once again; shortly after he schemes with goons and have Shravan killed. With no one to claim their rights on Shravan's land this leaves the way clear for Dulla and his three sons to take control of this land but Paro will not permit this to happen and the only way she can prevent this is by giving birth to a heir so she confronts Gajjan to re-marry her younger sister, Shibo but there is a short-coming involved as Shibo is in love with a young man, Bhinder and wants to marry only him.
- Deepali is the only daughter of a wealthy but deceased industrialist, Lakhanpal. While on a holiday in Northern India, she meets with and gets friendly with Pritam. Unknown to her, Pritam has fallen head over heels in love with her, and wants to marry her. After Deepali returns home, Pritam follows her, meets with her maternal uncle, Choudhary, and creates a very good impression of himself. As a result, Choudhary is convinced that Pritam will make a good husband for Deepali. When Deepali finds out, she is enraged, as she has seen Pritam only as a friend, and her true love is another eligible young man by the name of Ajit, who Deepali has decided to make her life-partner, regardless of any and all consequences.

- Circa British rule in India, wealthy DIG of Police is approached by Devdutt, a poor freedom fighter, who would like his daughter, Janki, to get married to the DIG's son, Ratan. The DIG and his wife Rajlaxmi refuse to have to do anything with Devdutt, but Ratan refuses to marry anyone else. They eventually relent and agree to this marriage. Shortly after the marriage, riots ensue between the police and freedom fighters, and as a result the DIG is killed. Rajlaxmi blames Devdutt for his death, and asks a pregnant Janki to leave her house. Unable to stand up for his wife, Ratan remains a silent spectator while his wife is thrown out. Janki goes to live with her father, who eventually passes away, and it is then Janki gives birth to a son, Rajesh. Years later, Rajesh has grown up, drives a truck, and is in love with a local shop-keeper, Chanda, who he would like to marry. Janki would like her son to go and meet his dad, and when Rajesh does so, Rajlaxmi arranges a pompous welcome for him with open arms, hoping that he will leave his mother and stay on with her. But Rajesh refuses to do this unless Rajlaxmi apologizes to Janki. An enraged Rajlaxmi refuses to do so, and asks Rajesh to leave. Rajesh and Chanda get married, and soon Chanda gets pregnant. Then the police arrest Rajesh, for which he may face several years in prison. He is held in the local police station. The truth does prevail, the real culprit is caught, and Rajesh is let go. He returns home to find out that everything is not the same anymore. Chanda has given birth a baby boy, and now lives with Rajlaxmi, and refuses to return home. Rajesh must now find out what compelled Chanda to leave Janki and go to live with Rajlaxmi.

Years later they will meet again - this time Sheela will be a Judge and Vijay will be a man who has been accused of killing Vasu. Watch what happens during the trial and the impact Vijay's presence has on Sheela.
