- Dyesebel is a popular mermaid character in the Philippines. The comic book character was originally conceived by the Filipino comic book illustrator, Mars Ravelo and drawn by Elpidio Torres.

Kristine leaves her house to spend some time in their hacienda. The mother realizes that she shouldn't do to Kristine what her parents did to her; she never fought for her true love, the small-time businessman who is now the high official in a bank and wealthier than her parents. In front of her husband's tomb, the mother gives Kristine and Mark her blessing.
