Prakash manages to convince her to marry him despite of her background, and she does. Both go to live with Prakash's family, but Chhaya is treated as an outcast and every possible mishap is blamed on her presence. Will Chhaya's presence continue to cause problems in this household also - especially when Prakash's plane goes missing?

However, destiny made Mir Qasim grab the Magic Lamp and with its help he succeeded in foiling the marriage ceremony of the two lovers. The king and Ashiq were thrown in the dungeon. Rukhsana was sent to his bed chamber to satiate his lust.

- Abused by an oppressive brother-in-law Gajendra (Pran), Ramchandra (Dilip Kumar) runs away from home, and ends up in a small village where he is mistaken for Shyamrao (also Dilip Kumar), and must accept Ganga (Leela Mishra) and his new name or face severe exorcism. Meanwhile, Shyamrao is mistaken for Ramchandra by Anjana (Waheeda Rehman) and her dad (Nazir Hussain). When Gajendra finds out, he is enraged and attempts to beat the stuffing out of the person he thinks is his brother-in-law, but Shyamrao refuses to be abused or beaten, and all of a sudden things start changing in the household as well as in the community. It is not long before Gajendra finds out about the truth, and plans an ugly death for Shyamrao, and all those opposed to him.

Jack warns Shekar to pay his debts soon or face the brunt but Shekar's plans go for naught when he discovers that Deepa loves Sam. To Jack's surprise, Deepa is a lookalike of Suzy, a cabaret dancer in his club. When Shekar meets Suzy, he plots with her to replace Suzy with Deepa to clear his debts. But on the very first instance Sam gets suspicious that she is not the real Deepa.

- Orphaned Raju, in the company of four elephants, has to perform with them at street corners, in order to keep alive. Slowly he amasses a fortune, and is able to build his own private zoo, housing tigers, lions, bears, and of course the four elephants. He treats all the animals as his friends. He meets with Tanu, and both fall in love. Tanu's dad, Ratanlal, is opposed to this alliance, but subsequently relents, and permits the young couple to get married. Tanu is unhappy with the amount of time Raju spends with his animal friends, and this causes some bitterness between them. Things do not improve when a child is born, as Tanu fears that one day the child will be harmed by one of the animals, and hence Raju is told to make a choice between his animal friends or his wife and son.

When Ram attempts to find out the reason behind his disapproval, Ravi gives very elusive responses, and Ram takes it upon himself to find out why Ravi disapproves of Kusum so much. It is then Ram will come to know of the shocking truth behind the relationship between Kusum and Ravi, and about Kusum's reputation.
- Rajjoo lives in a small village in rural India with her father Govindram. The peace in the village is shattered when a notorious thief, Hiralal, breaks out of prison and takes shelter in Govindram's house.

Before the police and the others could react, a male student is killed. Three male students do encounter this creature, but it manages to over-power all three, and no amount of force or bullets can stop it. It's main motive seems to kill anyone who stands in it's way, including the police!

His only companion on which he shoulder he can cry is the Pandey's maidservant, Parvati alias Paro. Then things turn better for Brij when he finds himself the lucky owner of a Rs.2,50,000 lottery ticket. This suddenly changes everyone's attitude toward him, he is pampered, fed, driven around town, and even given new clothes. But when the Pandeys find out that the ticket he is holding is not the winning number, Brij is once again beaten, and asked to leave. The question remains, with nowhere to return to, where will poor Brij go?

Maanav gets him a job with Hercules Milk Foods. Maanav meets with and falls in love with Kaajal Gupta, who is the daughter of the owner of Hercules Milk Foods, much to the chagrin of her dad who wants her to get married to Shyamal. Then one day Maanav disappears from Gopichand and Kaajal's lives. He re-locates to Simla and it is here that he learns that things have spiraled out of control as Gopichand has been arrested for marketing contaminated milk powder resulting in the deaths of hundreds of children. Maanav decides to return to Bombay and attempts to try and make sense why Gopichand committed this crime.

Anand refuses to say anything in his favor, thus leading his lawyer to conclude that Anand did commit this homicide. Refusing to believe that their brother could murder, his brothers, Amar and Pawan (Rakesh Roshan and Tariq respectively) kidnap Judge Ganguly's (Iftekhar) only daughter, Nisha (Reena Roy), in order to force the judge to find Anand not guilty, with disasterous results.
