- Pepper is presented by Suze as new gym teacher 'Miss Steiger' to scary Karl, Zeke, Rachel and Bree. The girls' dodging attempt meets an expert; Zeke's efforts to impress only awake smiles. Dylan and Elle get frisky in a Lassiter's suite, but it doesn't feel right for him, yet next morning he apologizes for running off and promises to re-consider Cam's plan fairly. Lou ponders Mishka's extraordinary story about murderous husband Igor, now in jail, and Janelle feels 'man' enough to fight off any Russian army.
- Lyn tells Susan that a living Karl is too good to ignore for a dead Alex, which message starts to get trough deep, and brightens Paul's gloomy life a bit. Carmella feels Connor isn't really into her and their daughter. Mishka plans to "win Lou's house back" from Harold at cards, mistrusts Lou's hand and uses Ned and Connor's place as observation post, but Harold has had enough of Lou's web of lies.
- Greg and Tom Walker are summoned to Melbourne where their father is dying in hospital. When their father suffers a fatal coronary it causes Greg and Tom to examine their lives and goals.
- Now Rachel has stupidly staked everything on a flaming piece naming Pepper and Lolly as if abuse were proven, Susan wisely forbids publishing that slander; Zeke comes up with the smart suggestion to use Rick's work, which she had haughtily discarded; she persists in refusing his great work on and with Frazer, but is instantly charmed by something he dabbled for fun. Harold admits to a surprisingly understanding Sky -who now realizes granddad's baby-sitting worth- about his carjacking lie. Lolly's step-ma has arrived and threatens her with returning to Adelaide until she accuses Pepper again, privately trying in vain she'll accuse the step-bitch, but already having lost her credibility.
- Paul enjoys life, Max meanly demands ready payment for drinks, however his exclusive black credit card is refused- J.Timmins spent $27,000 at Elle's invitation, Bree realizes her ma sold out. Toadie seems jealous of Boyd's wedding bliss, ironically now they're starting preventive marriage counseling, but they get a clean bill. Zeke hopes a chess tournament is his chance to excel at a sport, Susie worries he takes it too seriously; on the day idiot Max scares him, Janelle is thrown out for nuisance, co-competitor Karl is kind, both make the final. Harold tells Paul how Lou and Mischka's fake building inspector tricked him. Zeke throws the final, thinking Karl lets him win, unlike his late dad, so they agree to a private re-match- Zeke triumphs. The police brings Connor's wallet, found in the Australian embassy in China, to the Trousers house.
- Boyd drops off apprentice-mechanic Janae on her first day, amused she is made to wash cars; later she even messes up an oil-change. Steph fears Charlie's short disappearance is a new symptom of Max's post-traumatic psychosis, Boyd believes him and tells Toadie to back off, suspecting he may have the hots for Steph. Paul and Lyn dine with Karl and Susan at Max's pub while Elle does the bar, both men hate it and remain mistrusting. Max works out from his forged signature on an order Elle is setting him up to revenge her brother.
- Daddy Ned is worried sick now Mikey has run away, guessing he was in the van after finding a note. In hiding, the kid and dog Jake meet an adolescent runaway, who promises to take them under his wing. Oliver can handle Rebecca's tight rules, but recognizing Paul's picture scares her. Her suggestion to break up with Elle wears out his patience, only then she tells Paul they met when he was a flight attendant, and their single hot weekend left a lasting mark. Tom won't have a bar of moving into Eden Hills now a place is vacant, but celebrates Karl birthday with a traditional surprise party.
- Despite all Rosie's panicking, and everyone oversleeping, the wedding is a radiant success, attended even by uncle Rocco and Frazer's estranged pa and brothers. Carmella keeps cruelly twisting Ringo's feelings, but Frazer makes him proud by requesting his speech, outdoing even the romantic wedding vows. Meanwhile Ned presents Mickey to his big brother Steve Parker, who moves to Anson's Corner with his wife Miranda and daughter Bridget. Post-party traffic spells disaster.
- Elle is delighted when Paul easily agrees to invite her 'easy' brother Cameron, even desperate in case it would fall trough; Izzy ends up resigning herself to it. Connor isn't comfortable with Harolds efforts to drag him back into life by taking a look at the Salvos in action but appreciative; Toadies visit there as 'Lawman' is not appreciated, so he starts treating Ned as the new boy to stay in the boys house. When Ned shows no spine now he's offered the lead in the new, alternative musical written for him, gay director Gino confides in him he's not really a Swiss Italian, but also a country boy, from Western Australia; Elle finally finds out he can't read properly. Boyd is eager to apply with Karl for a surgery receptionist summer job, but his girlfriend Janae says she won't be able to see hem there because of her past with Dr. Kennedy- then she makes up with the doc.
- Ringo finally wakes up, with reassuring prospects. When Ned brings Mikey to see his 'victim', he's well received and praised for his heroic rescue efforts. Ringo focuses on Carmella, who now confesses she lied about their affair but doesn't love the kid enough. Frazer furiously throws her out. Declan first goes tell Oliver to leave him alone, and realizes while burning his mother's clippings of the Barnes, how rich big brother is. So Declan swallows his pride and apologizes, but is thrown out by Ned who didn't know his identity. At Lassiter's, he lies that he needs money for a prom suit and gets it. Adam tells Pepper he's unlikely to get his visa renewed long and suggests they both move to his brother's place in Italy.
- Surprised Susan catches Zeke marking school lockers, so she questions guardian Katya. Scott is drinking more then mere product testing, and can't appreciate Rachel attacking him about it. Kim feels guilty not to be Bree's real father, so he spoils her from his DVD profits. Janelle is delighted to be invited on national talk TV show Rove about the book, and asks Harold for coaching. The others envy Bree who may accompany her to the studio, especially film student Stingray, and may be shown in the audience. Susan advises Harold to go see Svetlana again in Perth, then admits her life after Alex feels empty. When Janelle is unable to answer any of Rove McManus's questions, Bree gets a live surprise...
- Zeke is convinced -dreamily- Pepper, who despairs about seducing Frazer, loves him; Boyd overhears Janae tell him how true love changes your whole life, yet remains jumpy and cranky. Frazer accidentally reads in Lizy's diary she hopes Carmella will give up Will, but her sis isn't so easily passed-by. Lou is touched by Mishka's eagerness to help his business with 'tazzle milkshakes' as aphrodisiac. Will grudgingly accepts another limousine ride from Alan Napier, who warns him his birth right to luxury expires in three months; then he hears that Carmella, who is desperate about her first facial skin graft, isn't insured to pay for that.
- Sky can't appreciate Karl Kennedy's part in the musical. Kim's lack of respect for his employer Max's authority gets him fired. Ned resists Izzy, but still realizes he doesn't feel quite enough for Elle to change his entire life by going to Tasmania.
- Sky collapses, Dylan rushes her to hospital but is told off anyhow, the rest of the Timmins clan welcomed visiting, so after Max's 'experienced advice' for suffering fathers-to-be he rages at poor kid bro Scotty, who also finds out Bree spends $500 money on Sky's baby because it's the first of their refugee dad Kim's abducted transfers. Toad finds out about the photo competition from Ned and Carmella, and agrees a split with Lou while making Salvo Harold co-star pro deo.
- While Stingray is passed-out on a park bench, a Max-sized man slips unto him a note 'Tell Steph I love her', which he looses; Toadie scolds his drinking. Mischka offers Harold a case of booze, which gives him courage to kiss unamusedly surprised Loris; the offer is enough to make him talk to Lou, who takes it badly as bribery. Janelle declares war for 'Lou-bear', Dylan sneers dad Kim remains ma's only true love, but dad's flowers scare Lou back to Mishka, from whose husband Igor however he receives a threatening note with a bullet enclosed. Lyn is welcomed back from New York, even by Elle, who nearly confesses her crime to Dylan, later declares still to love him. Loris promises Ned his Lassiter spot, but her kiss is scorned and shocks accidental witness Harold. Summer refuses to tell why she left Gillard and won't consider returning to boarding school. Katya was just back in Ned's good books, when Guy Sykes from her past turns up unannounced at her place, demanding $10,000 for an operation.
- After Izzy lies flat-out about Gus, Lyn changes her mind and accepts moving in with Ozzy at Paul's 'strictly house-mate', separate bedrooms, but promises to help 'in any way'. Vindictive Elle mistrusts that and Paul himself. Toadie implies to the others he believes Izzy must be terminal, Susie warns her not to keep such secret, she denies. Max throws a farewell- birthday drink, where she admits having turned 30. The $200 tickets Max bought to take Boyd to a game seem to be stolen. Just as Izzy leaves the next morning, Susan takes a phone call for her first ultra-sound and insistently asks if it's Karl's baby and only takes Paul's word it was a hotel employee, but he thus acquits the Gus-lie...
- As a result of a fatal accident, Tony Moore is charged with drunk driving and his school friends desert him.
- Caleb Maloney tells Sky his guilty secret: while an alcoholic he caused a car accident, killing his best mate. Rosie finds Frazer in his retreat, tells him that she won't wait indefinitely and gets his decision by wanting the ring back on her finger; reunited, they wonder what his psychosomatic trauma could be. Pepper gets a 'surprising' date with Adam at his place, but no romance. The gang is furious that the council opposes the Stingray memorial wall as 'provoking graffiti' and Sky even considers standing for election herself. Visiting the Brown grandparents' grave for the first time, Frazer discovers he has a brother who died aged 13 months.
- Tom and Karl are on edge when Susan returns home with the verdict. Rosie's future with Frazer is changed with one word. Janae is forced to hire Ned as her coach after Lou pulls out. Heartache reigns when Ringo suggests a game of spin the bottle.
- Robbie meets and marries the man of her dreams. After the marriage his true self emerges, and Robbie finds more trouble than she can handle.
- Uncle Ray continues to threaten Carmella's business. Ned and Elle take a trip down memory lane. Steph comes to Toadie's rescue to find a missing child. Janelle throws Paul's cheque back in his face. Dylan and Stingray bond over bone marrow.
- Mishka has a problem with tobacco-addiction and refuses to allow Connor to shout Ned dinner under the agreement with Lou, who actually puts them to the dirty dishes. Max tries to stop Boyd going trough with his engagement to Janae, so he's delighted when Steph learns the dumbo hasn't even decided whether to accept, while Karl despairs to hear Boyd spent the watch's price on the diamond ring. Ned can't stop Connor insisting Karl must leave their musical gig, so girls of the right age would be attracted to them youngsters, but as neither dares to tell him, they ask Susan. Connor learns Carmella is really missing and sets out on a search.
- Shane Warne guest stars raising funds for his charity, the Shane Warne foundation.
- Gail asks Paul's confirmation their announced third wedding is fake. Janae gives 'cuckolded' Boyd's game away to Max, he is sick of the airhead patronizing him. Rob keeps 'fiancée' Katya tied-up in a camper; she tries to win his trust but gets found out scribbling 'help' on a receipt. Steph and Janae trick Max into apologizing to Boyd, who is not impressed, and repentantly 'helpfull' Max accidentally tells their estate agent Janae is only sixteen.
- It's team Timmins' turn at the car race track, with expert Steiger, with mysterious free ticket from a bogus company; bad looser Dylan fakes running over champion Scotty, nobody takes his 'joke' well. Crushed by debts, Ned robs the Timmins home under Paul's instructions; they weren't insured, almost everybody had a key. Karl's rooster Springsteen keeps spreading lice and panic. Gerard Tate from Social Services advises Lou to keep a eye on Louise, Harold insists he must inform her legal parents, she overhears them and runs away.
- Mickey overhears Ned and Janae's conversation that his mother isn't returning for him, so pretends he's sick (but he's really unhappy). Karl finds the kid healthy, he finally talks to Ned and ends up reassured in the gentle giant's arm: he and dog Jake are safe, now in his team. Zeke and Lou are happy to see Lolly back saying she's happy too, but Bree guesses that she now wants to stay with her Adelaide family. Adam explains to Pepper his hand wound was a work accident and impresses her by standing up to pa Steiger. Frazer finally returns home to make his mother explain about his baby brother Paul drowned when he was three, and is convinced that's why she affectionately ignored him.
- Scotty 'Stingray' is ecstatic when Dylan returns to their cell revealing the wire trick worked. Paul has a caviar Christmas party, with Elle since the airport is on strike. Every year Janelle forgets a Christmas present for one kid, but this year they all get the best ever: a huge box 'from Boyd' with both the brothers in, already free. Body opens his exam results: an unreal 99,6; Sky also can go to university with 85. Janae couldn't afford a present, but Boyd is leased with a real lucky four-leaf clover. Lou cheerfully plays Santa. Even gloomy Harold lets Sky off soup-kitchen duty to celebrate Dylans release, even if Timmons style is utterly tasteless and the turkey is charcoal. When Paul Christmas lightening causes a power break, he invites the whole street to a fancy dinner at Lassiters. Steph daydreams of Drew and this time it's no memory.
- Dylan and Sky agree in tears 'sick' Elle, who is convinced by dad Paul -who also wants to hold on to Dylan- to forget her guilt, needs him more; even Lyn isn't told the truth when she proposes a hot-shot lawyer to Paul for the patent lawsuit. Carmella makes Toadie think about his own lack of friends. Steph is back from dad's farm, where things are all right, objects Izzy is still there and finds out Toadie is the rat who turned her in, but is convinced not to tell everyone he now needs a nap 'like Harold'; her attempted revenge-prank is pitiful. Izzy decides to drive Lyn away by telling her Paul committed a murder...
- Janae and Boyd's marriage is once again tested when Boyd accuses Janae of messing with Glenn's car. Janae vows to give Boyd another chance, but will he be flung back into the arms of Glenn? Lolly is desperate to get Pepper's name cleared, and is horrified to learn that she was the cause of Glenn's car accident. Pepper is determined to prove that Rosie is not a lesbian, so she strings Frazer into another one of her crazy schemes.
- To everyone's relief, Steph finally delivers a healthy boy Charlie; Karl insists to Max, who finally apologizes to Boyd, they can't wait longer then about an hour to operate, even after that seems to go well there are no guarantees. Bree is glad Summer is back, saying Rachel is the pits. Now Susan is late for her interview with the court expert Paula Beeman, and forgot to wrap Zeke's birthday present, while Katya took the kids for a birthday breakfast treat; worst of all, in Toadie's eyes, Susan can't bring herself to tell Paula about Katya's dark past. After the kids both explained in private they don't want to choose but rather stay together all four, Paula sees trough Katya, who afterward promises Susan to tell the kids herself.
- Steph is determined not to start her cancer therapy till after the birth, and without an premature cesarean, or after a talk to Lyn only a bit early. Now Janelle and Janae have made up, the whole bunch comes along as support group when she gets her test results from Karl- she's OK, so the family is off to celebrate, while she announces her intentions to become a nurse and take up soccer, and Boyd can switch his support to daddy Max, whose marital prospects look extremely bleak. Feeling guilty about the loss of Dylan's money from Paul for Scotty's project, Kim decides to sell his combi and pinch in for Stingray's camera software. Karl and Janelle try to remember their night together, years ago, under influence, can't but decide to pretend to be sure that nothing happened. Steph leaves on spa resort holiday with Lyn, and refuses even to talk to Max.
