- The Bentley brothers' public brawling is a nuisance, but when they start rustling each other's cattle, Sheriff Morgan is determined to put a stop to it.
- Morgan involved with crooks on his way to Bisbee.
- Upon learning his fiancée has a fatal illness, a convict escapes from Leavenworth Penitentiary and engages in a one-man crime wave in an effort to marry her before she dies.
- An angry young man jumps bail in Utah and heads for his home in Arizona to the only person he trusts - his mother - who suffers a heart attack when she learns of his activities. Marshal Morgan promises her that he'll bring in her son alive, but this could prove to be a tall order after the young man goes on a crime spree that include running over a highway policeman and shooting a sheriff.
- Chuck and P.T. are hired by Deacon Barrington to fly him over to nearby town of Hartford. When over the town, the Deacon throws out from the copter, paper flyer's to advertise his upcoming talk at the Hartford auditorium. Deacon Barrington's talk is about the evils of gambling. And when some of the flyer's end up in the hands of Fleming and Anders, the people running the gambling casino, they are not too happy at all. Trouble starts for the Deacon when the two men finally meet with the Deacon. They threaten him if he doesn't leave town. Chuck and P.T. decide to stick around and help the Deacon in case any trouble starts. But the Whirybird pilots are in for a surprise when they find out something about the Deacon.
- The Whirlybirds are working for a motion picture company. While on the filming site, P.T. happens to see a man rescue the films star from danger and photographs this event. The man doesn't want the photos with him shown to the public. The photos somehow get in the papers and the man is very upset. He now wants to get revenge on P.T.
- A woman hires Chuck and P.T to search for her wealthy missing husband who she fears has met with foul play.
- When an undercover federal agent and an informant are murdered in a drive-by shooting, Morgan is called in to investigate. His investigation leads him to a dude ranch.
- Three outlaws murder a group of priests planning to impersonate them to steal the allotment earmarked for the priests' territory. The outlaws hire the trusting and naive mountain man Critter Calhoun a to guide them on the perilous journey and plan to kill Critter once they collect the allotment and the central mission.
- Trio of hoodlums work with an inside man to steal the company gold. They immediately murder the inside man to prevent any linkage to him. The plan backfires when Morgan has a portrait reconstructed which establishes the link to the dead man.

- A million dollars in diamonds is stolen by two masked robbers at Longwood Field near Whirlybirds headquarters. One of the two police guards is fatally shot and dies. Before he dies he manages to tell his brother he knows who one of the masked robbers is. The brother goes on a mission to find and kill the murderer. Chuck and P.T. believe he should let the police handle this but the brother is determined to get the killer.
- Virgil Hook and his "lynch mob" want to take the law into their own hands and evict a suspected killer and his wife from their home. A reporter has important information that may change things . Chuck and P.T. help the reporter and police out.
- When a plane flown by a veteran pilot disappears on a routine flight, the Whirlybirds are called in to assist in the search over the objections of the plane's co-owner. After discovering the crash site, Chuck and P.T. are disturbed to learn that the plane's controls were tampered with after the crash in an effort to fool the Civil Air Patrol investigators and are baffled when the police report that the pilot was dead before the plane even took off. Lt. Hurst asks the helicopter pilots to assist him to trap the man who actually flew the wrecked aircraft.
- In the series pilot, Lily Ruskin comes for a visit with her daughter and son-in-law.
- P.T. and Chuck fight an electrical storm to deliver an iron lung to save a boy hurt in a landslide.
- A magazine reporter hires the Whirlybirds to take him to a small town to photograph and interview a select list of "average Joe" folks for an article. Skeletons in the closet emerge when one of them refuses his request.
- Morgan and Ferguson track a pair of murderous escaped convicts to a desert ghost town where they're holding the wife of a cellmate as a hostage.
- When Frank and friend Chris go deer hunting, another hunter shoots Chris. Initially, the shooting appears to be an accident, but it quickly becomes apparent that something more sinister is going on.
- Burton is found dead at the bottom of some steps outside his office. What appears to be a fatal accident becomes a murder investigation when Sheriff Morgan learns that the businessman recently obtained a huge diamond ring, which is now missing and was, unknown to him, part of a jewelry heist. The lawman trace the ring to a waitress who says she returned the ring to the mentally challenged handyman who gave it to her. The handyman says she kept the bauble.
- Desi Arnaz appears as a neighbor whose house begins to sink due to a construction error seemingly made by Lily's son-in-law. Lily conspires to meet with Arnaz to resolve the conflict.
- Sheriff Morgan escorts two Federal witnesses to the U.S. Marshal in Tuscon. While making the hand-off, they are waylaid by hit men trying to silence the witnesses. Instead, the Marshal is killed and Morgan becomes the new Marshal.
- A deranged giant with a dark secret steals a truckload of dynamite, putting the entire town in peril. Sheriff Morgan and Deputy Olson use their roping skills to subdue the giant, then Morgan dons a disguise to unravel the secret.

- Sister Bridgit, who works in an orphanage, asks the help of Chuck and P.T. with teenager Andrew. He went to live with foster parents on a farm and is not getting along with them. Sister Bridgit wants to help them be a family. While trying to help, Andy and his foster father get into an argument and Andy steals the family truck. Chuck, P.T., and Sister Bridgit search the city and stumble upon a possible robbery that Andy may have committed. They hope they are wrong about Andy but they and the cops scramble to find and capture him.
- Chuck and P.T. get involved in a revenge murder case after picking up an old man they find wandering along the highway.
- When Helen Gifford tries to force her younger brother to leave Vera Watson's ranch, Vera pulls a gun and Helen is mortally wounded in the scuffle. Sheriff Morgan doesn't believe the story Vera and Hank have cooked up, so he looks for evidence to destroy their alibis.
- The Whirlybirds discover that a couple with a disabled car they rescued in the desert earlier are wanted for robbery and murder.
- The Whirlybirds are hired to fly a contest winner to her vacation spot when shots are fired at the group from a speeding car during her photoshoot. She tells them that she witnessed a murder a few nights before and she was the target.
- During a raging forest fire, Chuck and P.T. rescue three injured youths who had volunteered to battle the blaze. The young men react with such intense panic when they meet the doctor tending the wounded at the first aid station that the Whirlybirds become concerned for their safety.
