- A secret agent puts his life on the line to save a town's liquid explosives from crooks.
- Charlie Naughton and Jimmy Gold of The Crazy Gang play detectives searching a Scottish castle for a missing will. Criminals pretending to be ghosts try to foil their efforts, then some real ghosts enter.

Boxtel alerts the authorities that Cornelius is connected with political dissidents and the poor fellow is arrested, though he manages to hide the black tulip bulb in his pocket before being thrown in jail. Cornelius becomes friends with Rosa, the daughter of the turnkey Gryphus. He gives her one of the three black tulip flowers, but Boxtel steals it...

Hornleigh and Bingham, residing at Brighthaven incognito and the last people to see Fraser,are taken into custody by the local police. It was impossible to identify the charred body and the dog is missing. Hornleigh, suspecting murder, identifies himself and goes to work on the case. Hornleigh proves that the crash was neither suicide nor accident, and that the body is not Fraser, despite an identifying tattoo on the back of the hand.
