He realizes that Jojo has a twin brother, Tony, who covers for him each time he commits a crime so he can get away with it easily. He successfully gets Jojo arrested and put in prison. However Jojo escapes and hides out at the house of Shekhar and Seema. When Shekhar realizes that Tony and Jojo are wanted criminals., he tries to contact Vijay. But Tony and Jojo find out and kill both Shekhar and Seema. Vijay is devastated by the loss of his two best friends and is comforted by nightclub dancer Sapna, and he falls in love with her. After his friends' deaths, he finds out that Tony and Jojo have Ajay on their hit list, so he tries to stop them, but his police commissioner, Shashi Kapoor, warns him against it.
- Karim Khan is employed as driver for a gangster named Don, who has an accident with his car, and asks Karim to take the blame for it for a hefty sum of cash, which Karim does so, and is imprisoned. But Don does not fulfill his promise, and as a result, Karim's wife, Razia, and new-born son are left destitute. Razia complains to Police Inspector Anwar, who arrests Don and holds him in prison, pending his trial in court. When Anwar finds out that his new-born son, Iqbal, is in need of a pace-maker, which he is unable to afford, he makes a compromise with Don, who lets him have one. Iqbal undergoes surgery and a pace-maker number 786, considered lucky in Islamic faith, is attached to his tiny heart. But Don and a prostitute by the name of Banoo have other plans for Anwar, which they carry out successfully, and abduct young Iqbal, who ends up growing on the streets as an orphan named Allah Rakha. Several years later, Allah Rakha has grown up, and is friendly with a prostitute named Rani, who happens to be the daughter of Banoo. When News-reporter decides to do TV report on Rani's life, she does not realize that she has opened up a Pandora's box, that will bring the past back to life, and expose her life to danger, deceit, and possible death.

Tragedy follows as Kedarnath passes away, leaving Rani and Deepak to the mercy of Sheila, who loses no time asking them to leave the house. She is now busy preparing Rajesh's marriage to a young woman named Sona, who is not only rich, but beautiful and ready to come to her home with a huge dowry. What Sheila does not know that Sona has her own agenda, which includes Sheila not at all.
- Successful in robbing a bank of huge sums of cash; criminal don, Shamsher Singh alias Shera refuses to part the loot with his accomplice, Raja and instead try to shoot him which results in the police apprehending both Raja and Shera. The court then sentence both to a long jail term but Shera manages to escape; many attempts by the police to re-arrest Shera proves fertile prompting inspector Ravi Khanna to seek permission from the police commissioner to let Raja out on parole for a period of one week. Raja agrees to assist Ravi but prove difficult to handle at first; as they get acquainted with each other the mission becomes much easier.

He reluctantly falls in line with them, but then a series of events makes everyone change their mind about Chandermohan, namely a fake astrological chart that shows he is not Manglik, and his accusations about Mangal, who he alleges is leading a double life, romancing, wooing, and having a child with wealthy Nisha, Nirmala from Jeevan Saathi matrimonial bureau and Rina respectively, apart from being an alcoholic, robbing Chandermohan, stealing from his own house, and exhibiting goon-like behavior. Hilarious chaos results as Mangal's mom and daughter attempt to figure out why Chandermohan is spreading these tall tales about their son and father respectively.

- Rich industrialist Raj meets Priya in Shimla and falls madly in love with her, but she ignores him. Raj forgives and accepts Priya after finding the truth. Vikram, who believed that Priya drowned herself, find out that she's alive and about to marry Raj, and manages to trace them to Shimla. He tries to kill Raj; on failing, he sends him to jail and goes to kill Priya.

In flashbacks he remembers that his real name is Amit Roy and Ranjit was the one who attempted to kill him six years earlier by throwing him off the train he was traveling on with Rekha. Amit also discovers that his young son who is now 10 years old has been sent to a boarding school and sets out a plan to regain custody of his son. First however he plans on taking revenge against Ranjit. Amit comes up with a plan to re-enter Rekha and Ranjit's lives by disguising himself as a film producer. He meets with Rekha and Ranjit and offers Rekha the opportunity to act in his new film titled Do Anjaane. Rekha and Ranjit grow suspicious of Naresh Dutt as they start to realize that he bears a striking resemblance to Rekha's supposedly deceased husband Amit Roy and the storyline of his film eerily mirrors Rekha's past life. Will she discover the true identity of Naresh Dutt? and what revenge has Amit/Naresh got planned for Ranjit?

Unfortunately after the marriage Pooja gets raped and killed - while the police hold Amar responsible for this carnage, Ajay wants to utilize this opportunity to kill him.
