Father Matthews who invokes the absolute secret of confession, but accepts not to confront Boyd, instead Jesse will asks Terry, who refuses him entry, assuring Sarah isn't there, admits he betrayed the cabin to Boyd, but noble Jesse refuses to 'punish' his guilty mate and leaves. Christina's powers increase, making plants wilt in her presence, but then her long-searched mother Ann Gibson turns up and takes her to a cabin where she tells her how Kingston seduced her, but an invisible diabolic beast raped her. One of the believers, Boyd's driver, shoots him, but diabolic resurrection and healing take less then a minute, he arrives in time to stop Anne inviting to prayer. Here Annie admits to Boyd and Christine that since childbirth her only desire is to kill the Antichrist.... Christine! Jesse returns to the believers, is blessed by father Matthews, while Graham doubts if he's ready, and to his surprise gets the weapon from his own mother Sara he never suspected to be one on them. Elsewhere, Paula fails to make Amber help find Terry's father, but she does buy Meg's release from Dr. Evett's psychiatry. Ben is convinced her return is wrong, but then hellish hurricane Christina (now fully consumed by evil) bursts into the house unstoppable.

Back in Point Pleasant, Meg's hallucinations grow stronger and she fears that Boyd may be the man of her nightmares. Amber uncovers an unsettling truth about Ben when she finally sees what's on the mysterious videotape, and it causes her to reconsider her plan to break up the Kramer marriage. Also, Terry begins his job as the errand boy for Boyd hoping to get Paula to notice him, and for Boyd to recruit him for his future plans for the town.

While worrying, police chief Logan investigates mysterious disappearances of harmless people, who seem linked only by the parish confessional. Meg visits old David Burke and convinces him his destiny is to brave his disease as 'perfect soldier'. Terry finds his dad risen from bed and gone; Ben discovering this decides him to have Meg committed to psych ward, despite but fearing for Judy. Meanwhile, Amber tries to separate Paula from Terry after catching them in bed 'as long as he works for Boyd', which only drives the kids in each-others arms, next Lucas warns Terry everything good that happened to him in Boyd's service can be taken away from him, even Paula, unless he tells the boss where Jesse is. Elsewhere, Lucas gets to the duo in time for their confrontation with the seven zealots, and when a fight ensues makes arrows hit both Nick -he'll stamp the boy dead afterward- and Jesse, whose fatal wound heals magically later when he pulls the arrow out in startled Christina's presence once they have escaped to a motel, while Lucas remains with the six survivors. Christina makes love to Jesse, but just that triggers in him a vivid vision of her as apocalyptic Antichrist, convincing him to drive away from her.

Christina asking God what must happen, maybe her death, resurrects the burned father David's corps as a murderous zombie, who appears trying to burn in a barn Christina, who is resigned it's time, but Jesse turns up, saves her and kills the zombie, making her wonder if they really were born to help each-other...

However the older Father David, who tried to make Tomas, who shows him the intertwined 666-symbol she drew, believe his predecessor father Jensen's prophetic writings are missing nonsense, digs the bundle up in church himself and brings it to Dr. Ben Kramer's yacht at the annual heritage week costumed boat parade, but black faith sees it turns out to become his floating funeral pyre. Meanwhile Lucas moves into a grand villa and is an instant hit with the doctor's and jealous sheriff's wives; Paula strips 'for diagnosis' in Ben's office and threatens to concoct a story about a bruise when he refuses to get intimate...

When Christina confesses her evil tendencies to father Thomas, he insists they must find her mother An Gibson, the key to her good, human side and finds Dr. Beverly Kendrick, who ran the halfway house where unmarried mothers like An went; a dead-end, but when she confronts the doc she admits having delivered Christina and given her to the men who 'overprotected' An, then jumps to her death. Lucas orders Amber to keep buying all local real estate despite the high prices, then plays on Terry's poor boy jealousy and dad Burke's expensive medical condition. Judy convinces Jesse Christina's arrival started to make everything go bad; they follow Christina into Kendrick's hospital's records basement. David Burke speaks up for the first time in years, to tell Terry he needs a son who isn't a coward but helps him die- by killing dad, later apologizes, he wants to set both free from his hopeless disease; Terry believes it's Lucas's doing and accepts to do anything for restoring pa's health. Jesse confronts his parents, furious after reading his birth certificate at the hospital- strict dad Logan isn't his real father.

At Boyd's party, frisky wife Meg makes Ben uncomfortable, and Logan nearly attacks Lucas after finding his wife's missing bracelet in Boyd's bedroom, yet she denies everything...

Shortly after Martin's arrival, Henry goes missing with evidence pointing to someone trying to kill him. Martin is pretty sure that it has to do with whatever the latest story on which Henry is working. As Martin reads through Henry's notes, he finds a story that isn't all it appears on the surface of those notes. Martin and Jake's stay in McMinnville also intersects with a story of a teen-aged boy trying to help his family by proving he's a man. It also coincides with the cell phone that Martin retrieved at JFK Airport month's earlier that belonged to Brit Simon Plimpton arriving in the area, and which makes another electronic trip back to its original owner and his distraught wife, Nell.

- For Jake's sake in more ways than one, Martin extends an olive branch to his sister-in-law Abigail, which she seems to accept. Jake points Martin to the docks and a shipping company called Möbius, which they learn was funding Teller's research. A case of mistaken identity leads to Martin helping some of Möbius' dock workers steal an unknown but lucrative shipment coming into the Port of New York. Martin does provide his assistance as who the dock workers believe is "Mike" despite knowing that if they are caught and he is sent to jail, or that if the dock workers find out that he is not really who they think he is, that he will lose Jake for good. Through the process, Martin comes to the realization that he was meant to help specifically one of those dock workers, Joey Deluca, who is committing the theft because of a personal issue. Other connections to the story unknown to Martin include Abraham's young cousin Tomer in the Middle East who is in love with a Palestinian woman, and whose relationship is threatened by the greater Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Meanwhile, Clea catches Sheri giving Jake a developmental test using dodecahedrons, which Clea later learns from Abraham was developed by Teller to test if the subject is one of the thirty-six righteous ones in the universe. Clea does whatever she can to find out for who Sheri is doing this work and why Sheri is using Teller's research which she previously dismissed.

This day, Jake is continually playing cat's cradle by himself, always stopping at the triangular figure. Clea notices that the symbol matches the logo of Abilgail Kelsey's company, Aster Corps. At the live video link section of the museum, the link currently to the feed outside of the Louvre in Paris, Jake makes a connection with a young woman through the video link. That woman, named Veronique, notices another woman in the background at the museum in New York that she swears solely from a photograph that she has that she is her biological mother, who she was told died in childbirth. After seeing the look in Jake's eyes, Martin is certain that that woman is indeed Veronique's mother. As Martin tries to track her down, he finds another part of the Veronique side of the triangle. Later, still at the museum, they are treated to a video feed from an astronaut at the International Space Station, she who talks about triangulation. The numbers that she talks about leads to Martin finding the third part of the triangle, which itself has two parts, both of which were in a cab driving through New York City. By the end of the outing, Clea and Sheri confront each other about secrets each believes the other is keeping, Clea's accusations specifically about the patient in room 6 and Abigail Kelsey's connection to the facility.
