- A body in the water and the Stockholm police is notified. At first it seems to be a drowning accident but Thomas Andreasson, the detective assigned to the case, soon suspects that it is a murder case.

Paul thinks it was not suicide, but murder, for there are two marks on his neck. The post-mortem finds a woman's wedding ring inserted in his throat. Estelle Delmas, his girlfriend, is a suspect: she had been engaged before, but the wedding was cancelled. Etienne's mother informs that he was a homeless in the past and thus banned by his girlfriend's family. This can be Paul's last case in the Brigade, for he will be transferred from Marseille to another Gendarmerie station, outside the region.
- A man's body is found on an industrial site. How did he die? Was he really killed here or was the body dumped here to harm the company? If so, who would benefit from this?
- The manager of a travelling circus is found dead in a small village. The victim's close circle are all suspects. However, the gendarmes discover a disturbing clue: the family's youngest son was found dead in the same village ten years earlier.

Lea and Paul are interested in the private life of the victim who belonged to the Travelers. The gendarmes want to know if the evening has degenerated and if it is a settling of scores. They will also search for Lola, a young flamenco dancer who was seen with Manolo the day before his death.
- During Déborah and Pierre's wedding ceremony, Kader Cherif and his colleagues from the squad all simultaneously receive the same message: a photo of a woman with a blurred face. They have four hours to prevent her murder. At the same time, Kader discovers the true reason for Adeline's return.
- Axel Vignot, a famous lawyer, is found murdered not far from a kayak club. During the investigation, Paul questions the victim's twin brother and the captain discovers that the brother has pretended to be his twin.
- Baptiste Lacroix, a well-known truffle producer in the region, faints and dies in the middle of his oak plantation. Shocking event difficult to assume by his family, hit by tragedy before in the car accident in which his only daughter, Julie, was left paraplegic while her husband was on the wheel.
- On an archaeological dig, the body of a student, Marion Duval, is found in a hermetically sealed funerary chamber. A mystery that Léa and her team will have to solve.
- A woman is found seriously injured in a car boot. Soler and Marchal quickly discover that this was an attempted murder. The case becomes rather more delicate when the victim's young daughter disappears. At the same time, they have the added problem of their son Thomas, who's run away.
- Léa and Paul investigate the death of Nicolas, who disappeared the day before during an evening at sea, and whose body was found under a pontoon. The coroner is puzzled by traces of old burns on his chest and urges investigators to find out which hospital he was treated at. They discover that five years ago, when his business burned down in Royan, the victim was badly burned and his secretary died, after which he changed his identity.
- Antoine Crosne drives in his vehicle with Paul to an isolated farm of his own in the middle of the countryside. The brigade issues a capture warrant for Máxime Rouvier: he is a suspect in the murder of Ludivine Crosne, some years before, that was never solved. Meanwhile, Léa summons Laurence Crosne to the Gendarmerie, in case her testimony could shed some light in both cases.
- A woman is found dead without Id next to the Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert bridge, one of the towns on the Via Tolosana on the Camino de Santiago. No one seems to know her, but apparently an escaped inmate has been in contact with the victim for a long time.
- Camille sings at the Théâtre de la Mer and Paul offers Léa to surprise Camille by attending the festival. But the party turns into drama when Camille discovers the body of the new festival director shot to death.
- Céline Ducourneau is lying on her terrace in a coma. She was trying to rebuild her life in Montpellier with the help of a women's association after being abused for years by her ex-husband. As he is still in prison, everything points to a simple gardening accident, but Commandant Soler notices a familiar face in the CCTV images of Céline's house: that of Rodolphe Meunier, another man who abused his wife and the reason why Léa was transferred to Montpellier three years ago. Meunier may have attacked Ms Ducourneau to track down his wife Laure.
- Judith Collet, a pyrotechnician, is killed by a firework rocket she was launching. For several months Judith was hiding a secret. Where did she go two evening per week? Did she have a lover? Had her husband found out? Was there a connection with the promotion she had turned down?
- What happened to Lieutenant Maxime de Roquebrune just before his departure for Mali? Cherif and Briard set out to investigate but quickly realize that if the army is known as "the silent one" then there is good reason.

- Michel Lecompte, a sailing old glory, is assassinated in the sailing club he runs, Les Alizés. The culprit could be Ludovic Belco, a young criminal in whom Michel recognized himself and whom he had helped to reintegrate.
- Hervé Brianson, fifty years old, is found dead on his sailboat moored in Port Camargue. The man, originally from the area, had not appeared for 20 years and had become a famous photographer who traveled the world.
- The body of a man dressed as a Templar is found at the foot of the wall of the Constance Tower in Aigues-Mortes. Marco Salieri apparently fell from the tower by accident, but examination by the coroner, Franck Marvaud, reveals that he was killed. Léa and Paul announce to the team that they are a couple to prevent Colonel Vauvert from transferring her to another police station.
