- A down-and-out singer tries to recharge his career -- and his relationship with the wife he abandoned 10 years earlier -- by skydiving at a county fair.

- Ted and Jim desperately try to rescue a young singer who was seriously injured in an aerial jump, promoted by his publicity-hungry agent.
- An insurance adjuster thinks a plane is being hidden atop Cougar Mesa and did not crash as claimed by the policy holder. Ted and Jim agree to assist in the insurance fraud investigation by jumping on to Cougar Mesa and locating the plane.
- Taking place more on the ground than above this time, Ted and Jim (in a car) have to pick up a top secret device to give to a scientist, and are tailed by a couple of men in suits while being distracted by a mysterious blonde.

- Inmate escapes from prison and is bent on revenge. The man he blames for his prison sentence is camping in Devil's Canyon so he enlists Ripcord to parachute him into the canyon. Of course, the boys have no idea he is a murderer.
- Ripcord must search a crash site for top secret papers. Finding the papers will be the easy part because, of course, the bad guys want the papers too.
- Jim jumps into a mountain cabin with a medical supply delivery only to end up being taken hostage along with the doctor. Fortunately, Jim brought a radio and looks for an opportunity to send a message without tipping off the baddies.
- An old Army superior shows up wanting the boys to take him on a dangerous drop into the mountains. Ted, who never could stand the guy, refuses and they come to blows.
- Ted and Jim jump into a job only to be taken hostage by an escaped convict.
- An unscrupulous newspaper man is writing fake news about skydiving in general and Ripcord, Inc. in particular.
- When sent to rescue an injured mountain climber, Jim must play surgeon when conditions are too difficult for the doctor to jump.
- When Ted and Jim are flying and observe a downed plane, they jump to investigate. They find a severely injured man, but another man has a gun and takes them hostage.
