It is a story about a modern mother, a widow who is trying to keep her son and daughter at home and thus delay their coming of age and becoming independent. Unfortunately, this time she has faced an equal rival. The visit gets off as an accidental get together. When it turns out daughter has already married him, all hell breaks loose.

This film with its characters and the plot tells about hard times in which everything can be sold, about the disturbed system of values which characterizes everyday life in the Balkans; at the same time it tells about love that proves to be the only way out from the Balkan mud and wretchedness.
