- The devil, surrounded by flames, leaves hell and goes to earth where, in human form, his aim is to make people unhappy and cause evil to triumph over good. Disguised as a gardener, a plumber and a gentleman, he roams through Amsterdam in search of prey. He meets Thérèse, talented but poor, whose uprightness and purity hinder him. He sees a rich banker, Van Rijn, and his protégé and good friend, a young painter. Bringing these three people together and destroying them will be the devil's task.

Omdat diezelfde nummers op de 78-toerenplaat vaak in een net iets andere versie werden gezongen ( of door andere artiesten) bevat deze box ook een cd met de alternatieve uitvoeringen. Geluid en beeld, ter herinnering aan de grootste vooroorlogse kassuccessen.

- The film is set in 1944, in German-occupied Netherlands. There is an ongoing famine. Jan Alting is a a Dutch patriotic farmer, who uses his farm as a place of refuge for Jews, communists, and Dutch resistance members. He has disinherited his son Anton Alting, who is a German collaborator. One day, Anton unexpectedly visits his father's residence and discovers a group of subversives hiding there. He orders his father to kick them out, threatening to shoot them if he refuses. Jan is torn between his patriotic duty and his desire to avoid direct conflict with his estranged son.

- Dutch Movie about the Dutch resistance during WWII. Partly fictionalised story of a Dutch resistance fighter who is caught and executed by the Germans. A metal worker goes to ground because he doesn't want to collaborate with the Germans. He joins the resistance movement and, after being wounded during a raid, he ends up in hospital. He escapes but is arrested not long after and taken to a concentration camp. He is executed in September 1944, just weeks before the Allied forces reach the camp. The name LO-LKP refers to the Landelijke Organisatie voor Hulp aan Onderduikers (National Organisation for People in Hiding) and the resistance movement Landelijke Knokploegen (national commandos), set up by the organisation. The film was commissioned by the LO-LKP after the war.
