Immie spends the day at the Campus with Lauren, and receives some unwanted image advice. Her only respite is lunch with her dad. Lauren meanwhile is being very flirty with Kevin. Jack asks his dad to get a move on with organizing the work experience he promised. Julia doesn't want anything to do with Elaine, since being 'the Other Woman', though Freya tries to be a comfort.
- In a special episode, which the cast filmed themselves in their own homes, the Mill staff deal with the first few weeks of lock-down.
- A lady collapses at a Birmingham hotel, she's covered in blotches. She has a deadly virus and the last person she came into contact with has gone to the Mill. The surgery is put into lock-down, someone inside has the deadly virus, but who is it, and who will be next to catch the virus? Staff and patients deal with the situation in their own unique ways. It's down to Simon to try and discover the truth, but will he be in time, before someone dies?
- In this 20th anniversary special, the staff at the Mill star in their own fly-on-the-wall documentary and stare life and death in the face.
- A tough talking, no nonsense new Associate, Dr. Elizabeth Croft, starts and promptly winds everyone up the wrong way. George and Ronnie come to terms with their new baby.
- Helen discovers that Marc has broken off his engagement to Cara. George sees Charlotte kissing Ronnie. She is so upset she goes into labor and is rushed into hospital. Getting ready for the Christmas fancy dress party, Helen and Marc realize they love each other, and Marc carries Helen (dressed as Marilyn Monroe from Gentlemen Prefer Blondes) off into the falling snow. George gives birth to a baby girl, then tells poor Ronnie to pack his bags and get out.George goes into cardiac arrest.
- Greg and Rico get 'married'. Nick is understandably angry when he finds out that Elizabeth has aborted his baby. She leaves Letherbridge. Jimmi asks Sarah to marry him, but she decides to go the Brazil to work with Rico's sister.
- Helen has to deal with an obsessive patient, whilst Jimmi's wife unexpectedly turns up during a party at their house. She catches him ca-noodling with a stocking clad nurse.
- An hour long special to mark the show's 1000th episode. The last hour of surgery proves to be eventful and one that some of the staff will never forget.
- Emily finally goes back to America to stay with her mum. Both Joe and Emily are really sad. Nick sings.
- Everyone goes to the 'Big band' Christmas party. Unfortunately Nick and Michelle end up having to rescue a woman from a car crash and they arrive really late, covered in muck. Greg is still depressed over Rico leaving him, but Jimmi sings to him, so he decides to go to Copenhagen to be with Rico and his son.
- Nick tries to help an alcoholic father gain more access to his son but gets more than he bargained for. Michelle takes Ruth out shopping but becomes irritated by Ruth's copy-cat behaviour. Vivien sets out to meet the comatose elderly victim in hospital.
- Rob and Driver's plan to trap the Treehouse bosses and the mole gets underway, resulting in Andy being 'shot' in the centre of Birmingham. Daniel and Zara meet up with Mia when she runs away from her foster home.

Through an absurd and abstract discourse, Brent explores the ways in which he can appeal to a broader, mainstream audience, so that ultimately, he can become successful in show business.
