- Back Roads is taking viewers to some of Australia's most interesting and resilient communities. The towns chosen for the programnme are full of colourful characters whose grit and good humour continues to uplift and inspire.

A landlord (Lex Marinos) has trouble evicting the tenants of an old warehouse: a couple that's been dead for years.
- Series one scoured the globe for the toughest parents, but maybe the world's strictest parents were in our own backyard all along. 2 out-of-control teens spend a week in outback Queensland and push the boundaries of tough-love all the way.
- Guest presenter Kristy O'Brien heads to the outback town of Charleville in south-west Queensland, where she discovers a place that offers second chances and a community that always finds the silver linings.
- One of the most difficult jobs in agriculture must surely be making predictions about crops and prices. One man never frightened to have a go is the managing director of Profarmer newsletter, Richard Koch. Mr Koch says he is much more pessimistic about the winter crop than most.
