- This is a great comedy of mistaken identity, in an unusual way. The police are after a guy named "James Brown", who killed a policeman. It happens that the other night, another "James Brown" and his friend Chic (the main characters of this movie) got in a fight with two guys after drinking. They don't quite remember everything that happened - and they think that they must be the "cop killers" the police are looking for! It also happens that the police are looking for a different "James Brown" (the main character) to tell him that his uncle overseas died, and left him a large inheritance. As the police chase after him to tell him the good news, before the policeman can tell them the story, James and his friend Chic tie up the policeman, and make their getaway! They escape to to a sheep station in the outback (named Banjaroo), where they think they can get away and lie low for a while. They get work there. There, James finds romance, Chic finds an old drinking buddy, and the police eventually catch up with them. This movie is a great comedy, with some pretty funny routines. A lot of the laughs go to the brilliant Pat Hanna, who not only produced and wrote this movie, but also plays James Brown's sidekick, Chic Williams.
