- A young girl who lives by the sea with her parents, is the object of one fellows affection. One day she meets a wily artist painting on the beach, he seduces the young girl and gives her a ring, with the promise of marriage. When the young admiring fellow comes to propose, she proudly announces her engagement to the artist. Shocked he leaves and her parents demand meeting her husband to be. She goes to bring him home, and finds he already has a sophisticated fiancée. Distraught she hurries home, and when her father realizes what she has done, he orders her out of the house. As she wanders despondent along the sea, the young fellow who has found out about her betrayal,immediately goes to see her. Finding she has been disowned by her father, he goes looking for her and sees her body floating in the sea. He now carries her lifeless body back onto the shore, to her heartbroken parents.

He enlists in the Navy under the name of Robert Jenks and becomes a sailor aboard a ship owned by Sir Arthur Deane. During a typhoon which wrecks the ship, Anstruthers saves the life of Deane's daughter Iris. For several weeks, the two live alone on an island. They discover a gold mine, but are set upon by a band of pirates. Deane and Ventnor arrive on a gunboat and defeat the pirates. When Iris announces her engagement to Anstruthers, Ventnor tells Deane that if he does not break his daughter's engagement, he will withdraw his financial support. Deane refuses to interfere, and Anstruthers and Iris get married. Costabel's wife, who is enraged that Ventnor went in search of Iris, confesses everything to her husband, and Anstruthers' commission is restored.

Thus satisfied with Willy's physical abilities, Annabel awards him her love.
- Henry Sanford, contracted to build a lighthouse at Keyport, is attracted to Kate, the wife of wealthy Morgan Leroy, who becomes jealous of Henry. Meanwhile, Bill Lacey, one of the crew of elderly master diver Caleb West, covets Caleb's pretty young wife Betty. One day, Bill is injured in an accident at the lighthouse site and taken to Caleb's home, where Betty nurses him. Meanwhile, Kate has quarreled with her husband about Henry. Bill persuades Betty to leave with him for Portland, but she regrets this and returns, realizing she loves Caleb, although he refuses to take her back. In a shipwreck involving Bill, Caleb dives to retrieve his body. Captain Bell tells Caleb that Betty had worked the air pumps, ensuring Caleb's life. He realizes that she loves him and is reconciled with her. The other couple, Morgan and his wife Kate, also come to an understanding.
- Madeline Gray, a young San Francisco woman spending the winter in the tropics, is suddenly called home. Accompanied by her friend Walter Maxwell, she books passage on a schooner owned by Bucko McAllister--aka "The Brute Master" because of his brutal, tyrannical behavior. Once they're at sea a crew member mutinies, locks McAllister in his cabin and sets the ship on fire. Maxwell, Madeline and the remaining crew make it off the ship and to a nearby island, where they make a discovery that they weren't expecting at all.

Featuring Greg Noll famously wiping out on a 25-foot wall at Outside Pipeline, a sketch that spoofs Adventures of Superman, and appearances from Phil Edwards, Dewey Weber, Buzzy Trent and Peter Cole, Mike Doyle, Mickey Munoz, David Nuuhiwa, Ricky Grigg, Fred Hemmings, Greg Abbott, Bobby August, Linda Benson, Peter Bergen and many more. The film also features local groms like Rick Raff of Kailua at 15 years old bookending Pipeline rides by Mainlander surfing hall-of-famers John Peck and Dick Catri. Side note: the film screened for the first time in Hawai'i, at McKinley High School auditorium, 50 years ago on July 15, 1965.
