- This is the first film ever filmed in Stockholm, Sweden. The part of the city featured is Djurgården (Tiergarten in German). It is where the unique outdoor museum Skansen is located.
- In 17th-century Sweden, two soldiers battle over the affections of a girl.

A miniature hill is placed in the centre of the coast, over which the skiers must slide. As they come up the incline of the little hill, they spring into the air and jump great distances, some of them attaining a distance of forty or fifty feet in one single jump. This is an accomplishment quite unknown outside of Norway and Sweden, and our picture is an excellent demonstration of the sport.

There are two fancy skaters in the immediate foreground of the picture, who execute various difficult feats of fancy ice skating. An extremely interesting and typical picture.
