- Moon Over Mercedes is a short film designed to look like a high action movie trailer. In it, we meet Jeff who is a C.I.A. operative working covertly out of Wellington New Zealand. Jeff's Field operator has just been killed, but before he died, he managed to pass on a flashdrive holding information about the cell of radicals that could help Jeff immensly. It pays to note that Jeff is a coordinator and has never worked as a field operator. We now meet Dean who is a New Zealand SAS souldier who is home on leave from Afganistan. Dean is battleing an alcohol problem and trying to save his failing marrage. Through a chance meeting with Jeff, he finds himseld unwittingly involved in the whole drama. Now the two of them have to take on the radicals on their own without the help of the Police or the military due to the fact that they are now both wanted individuals. They have begun their partnership as less than friends, and have to face a tough and deadly foe. The fate of an entire country depends on them.
