- María Eugenia Alonso, almost a woman, still an adolescent, returns from Europe to impose the light of her reason on that of her old house, a temple of boredom, where, as in the ancient and moist churches, the old smell of traditions and race floats. From the very beginning, María Eugenia proclaims very highly her independence of spirit and her firm intention to be guided by clear and logical ideas. She tries to reject an order in which she does not believe and which imposes absurdities: confinement, boredom, sanctimoniousness and prohibitions opposed to her desire to live. On one side, freedom, passion, love without commitment and, above all, life. On the other conformism, security and stability, respect for the rules and the ensuing social recognition. Thus, between her honorable grandmother and a crazy uncle, between an adventurous passion and a conventional marriage, María Eugenia is embroiled in an overwhelming love triangle whose dangerous consequences depend on her already prostrate determination and that will relentlessly decide her destiny. Ifigenia is the first film produced under the "School Film" system by the Central University of Venezuela and Director Iván Feo.
- On board of a bus, Andrés Barazarte travels through his city like another passenger. Life passes through the head of the young man, carried by the hand of his dead grandfather. His parochial family; his childhood without parents; the bitter youth of his aunt and the vicissitudes of that bohemian and crazy great-uncle; the military ancestors: secular warlords of opaque humanity; the economic ruin occurred in three strides; the unhappy life of the absent father, a worker in an oil field. The memories are knotted with the present: the love of his girlfriend and the hazardous political life in which ideals have become a permanent mortal risk. Present and past conspire and lead to the end: Andrés conjures up the times and accompanied by his own kind, performs the moving final act that will redeem him from his miseries.

A film within a film. The staging of the film becomes the staging of the policeman who deals with characters who are victims of their own weaknesses and miseries. In the end, faced with the vertigo of events, the roles are turned upside down. The spectator functions as a policeman, discovering the plot. Feelings are questioned. Darkness and passion sweep everything away. There is only tragic and cruel fate. Tosca and Scarpia are forced to see each other's faces. Tosca, La Verdadera Historia is the second film produced under the "School Film" system by the Central University of Venezuela and Director Iván Feo.
