- An independent daughter (Im She-mi) moves into her mother's house due to financial problems, and brings with her same-sex lover, Ra-in (Ha Yoon-kyung). Mom (Oh Min-ae) is left bewildered. Meanwhile, the mom, who works as a caregiver, strives to provide the best care for Je-hee (Heo Jin), an elderly woman who lives alone.

- Many people remember the typhoon that took place in the summer. It left behind a painful scar... Two very successful former actresses, who used to be rivals and also loved the same film director, inevitably meet again in their 50s. Their children, who are from broken families, are destined to fall in love in a very complicated yet in a sad way. Two young actresses, whose mothers were also actresses, become rivals who try to outshine one another. After becoming famous, the young actresses take matters into their own hands to maintain their popularity. The critical moments of their lives is overcome through love and the importance of what a family means to each individual is the main theme of the TV series.
- In 1997, while the country is going through financial difficulties, Sang-hoon (Choi Seong-guk) and his wife Ji-won (Kim Sung-kyung) run a boarding house, but they are unable to collect expenses from their tenants. The couple are facing the threat of bankruptcy. Making things worse, a loan shark (Lee Joon-hyuk) begins to harass Sang-hoon.
- Korean idol group KARA learns that the president of their management company is going abroad to observe the entertainment field. They also learn that they will have a new interim boss. The five members of KARA are confused by the news and eventually arrive home. When they get inside a surprise awaits for the girls. Their new boss is awaiting for them in their apartment and their new boss isn't human. In fact their boss is a robot. The robot introduces himself and also imparts wisdom upon the girls. The robot states that the girls are not yet stars because they are not emotionally developed enough. The girls then learn that they are given assignments to seduce men.
- A publishing company team leader Jae-bak is getting tired of his family and career. Every morning on the subway, he finds comfort while watching Yoo-hee, who always has a red lollipop. After watching her for 100 days, he meets her at the book store where he works and follows her home. And he finds himself kissing her at the beach during a sunset. They both feel strong emotions, but Jae-bak begins to hear harsh rumors about Yoo-hee.
- Kang Doo-Sub (Lee Won-jong) is a gangster and people are afraid of him. One day, he finds a female high school student ghost looking at him. He freaks out and tries to get rid of the ghost, but, no matter what, the ghost is still there. Kang Doo-Sub turns to a private detective.
