- In each episode, two chefs will face-off in three rounds of head-to-head battles testing their skill, creativity and speed. Rivalries will be intensified as "Top Chef Duels" ups the ante and allows the competing chefs to each pick one mini-duel based on the other's perceived weaknesses in the kitchen. The third and final challenge of each episode will decide who moves on to compete in the ultimate high-stakes season finale where 10 chefs will be confronted with split second decisions as they lay it all on the line in the greatest challenge of their careers. In the end, only one chef will earn bragging rights and win the $100,000 grand prize and a culinary adventure that will be featured in Food and Wine Magazine.
- A behind the scenes look at the world of fashion PR, featuring public relations guru Kelly Cutrone. Cutrone balances running her successful fashion PR company, People's Revolution, and juggles Fashion Weeks in New York and London, with being a single mother and one of New York's most notable women about town.
- A glimpse into the life of "Project Runway" winner and fashion designer Christian Siriano - who immediately resonated with fans and fashionistas alike -- as he prepares for fashion week, over-seeing every aspect of his line from start-to-finish, model fittings, Emmy-dress appointments and balancing work and life with family, friends and work associates. It will all culminate in the highly pressure-filled buyer meetings where Siriano will learn whether all of his hard work will pay off.
- Knives are drawn and the display of extraordinary talent begins in the most ordinary of places - a grocery store where the chefs are met with the classic quickfire "Aisle Trial." Master chefs Roy Yamaguchi (Roy's Restaurants), Art Smith (Table Fifty-Two), Michael Cimarusti (Providence) and Jonathan Waxman (Barbuto) pass the quickfire round and are faced with a mystery box from which they must concoct their elimination challenge meals. One chef moves on to the Champions Round.
- The top six chefs have advanced to the finals and now must face-off for the ultimate title of Top Chef Master. Each is asked to produce their signature dish, only to find they must then re-create their competitor's unique dish. One chef is eliminated, while the remaining five move to the next round of competition.
- Ten well-known professionals, who are highly regarded in their own field of expertise, are paired with ten established fashion experts. The ten teams are put to the test, as they have to rely on each other's expertise to produce a cohesive fashion line. For their first challenge, the teams must create a signature piece for their collection. While some teams hit it off from the start, other teams have to work hard not to hit each other. Tempers flare and the pressure is high as everyone wants to impress the judges and win this first challenge.
- The editors of TV Guide magazine came up with a list of shows, which are used as inspiration for a TV Dinner quickfire challenge. The remaining chef''testants are then put to the test as they visit Tom Colicchio's restaurant, Craft Steak in Las Vegas to cook for Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe winner Natalie Portman and friends.
- It's baaaaaaaaack - Restaurant Wars - and this time it's Sin City style. This season, it's a little different - the chef'testants take over "Top Chef Masters" contestant Chef Rick Moonen's restaurant, Seafood. and the focus will be on food, service and front of house. Moonen serves as guest judge for this classic "Top Chef" challenge.
- With lessons in full swing, Chef Novelli teaches his students how to make the perfect risotto accompanied by his grandmother's famous tomato sauce. Fashionista Suzanne decides to call in a tailor to alter her chef's coat. Not surprisingly, Chef Novelli is irritated that she is disrupting his lesson and he asks her to leave his school for the rest of the day. For their end of week test, the students are asked to recreate the Chef's risotto and tomato sauce dish under strict time constraints. While three greatly exceed expectations and are invited to join Chef Novelli, Steve, and Michelle at a Malibu red carpet party, the other students are left waiting to hear the results of their test until after the weekend.
- French-born and currently residing in London, Chef Novelli - along with his executive chef, Steven Kitchen, and pregnant fiancée, Michelle - comes to Los Angeles to establish his first American based culinary academy, which is renowned across Europe. The first order of business is for Chef Novelli and Mr. Kitchen to interview and screen potential students. As part of the admissions process, the hopeful students are asked to perform a simple, yet surprisingly nerve-racking task: cook an egg, any way they want. Ultimately, nine students are chosen to participate in Chef Novelli's prestigious American culinary venture, and on the first day of class they are asked to create what they would consider their "signature dish." While this is only the first practice test for the students, Chef Novelli reminds everyone that failing three of the tests is grounds for automatic dismissal from his academy.
- As an introduction into the culinary world, each of Chef Novelli's students is presented with the honor of their very own embroidered chef jacket. Chef Novelli then gets down to business, teaching his students their first lesson on desserts. For their test, the students must recreate one of the desserts demonstrated by Chef Novelli. If the student passes, they are granted permission to attend the open house party at the academy. If they fail, they are asked to leave and only have two more chances to hold their spot at the esteemed Novelli Academy. Chef Novelli also takes his students to a local farmer's market to inspire them on the fine art of purchasing fresh produce. After a few days together in the kitchen, the students begin to get to know one another and obvious friendships are formed. At the same time, one student's hidden past is revealed and it shocks his fellow classmates.

- The twelve stylists arrive in Los Angeles where they will compete for $100,000 and an apprenticeship furnished by Nexxus, as well as a chance to style hair for an Allure magazine photo shoot. They meet new host Camila Alves and this season's panel of judges - celebrity stylist Jonathan Antin (star of Bravo's "Blowout") and renowned stylist Kim Vo. In their first shortcut challenge, the stylists must give unruly punk rockers a more polished look, with the brash Antin as their first guest judge. The competition gets even more edgy during the elimination challenge when the contestants collaborate with hot Hollywood swimwear company, L*Space to create sophisticated styles for a risqué fashion show. Monica Wise, lead designer for L*Space Swimwear, joins as a guest judge.
- As Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week comes to a close, the staff at People's Revolution work hard to pull off one more event for designer Nicolas Petrou. When mix-ups and problems arise during this hectic time, Kelly must make a tough decision about the future of one of her employees.

Kelly and her team pull off an amazing show for David Delfin, but when a computer glitch in the office creates major problems, Kelly and her team struggle to make sure all the VIP guests will have seats for the Chado Ralph Rucci show. Will People's Revolution survive this disaster or will it cost them a client and their credibility in the fashion world?
- After the mishap with client Chado Ralph Rucci, Kelly is determined to have the next show go off without a hitch, and she puts on a successful presentation for new client Genetic Denim. While Kelly is soaring, People's Revolution employee Stephanie starts drowning in the pressures of fashion week and struggles to keep her head above water.
- Kim Vo arrives at the Shear Genius Nexxus salon to explain their next challenge, color repair, in which the stylists must refresh damaged blonde dye jobs. For the elimination challenge, the stylists travel to the iconic Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel to create avant-garde hairstyles based on a tasting menu from the hotel's famed Dakota restaurant.
- The remaining stylists are presented with a unique twist on extensions - applying them to men to give them sexier, longer looks. The steamy elimination challenge brings the stylists to a ranch that serves as the backdrop for photos for their first cover shoot, romance novels. The stylists work in teams to create sexy and dramatic looks for both a male and a female model.
- The 17 new chef'testants team up for their first elimination challenge in which they must create a dish that represents their own constituency, where they are from and what they represent. The chefs serve their dishes at the famous National Cherry Blossom festival in Washington D.C.
- With her nuptials just around the corner, it's time for Bethenny to meet with her wedding planner and finally start solidifying plans. Jason's mom comes to town to help Bethenny shop for wedding dresses. Bethenny also has plenty of work to do promoting her Skinny girl books and developing her own skincare line. In the end, the one who needs the most help is her beloved dog Cookie, who has been behaving badly.
- Bethenny's wedding day is approaching and she has many details to take care of including attending her bridal shower hosted by fellow housewife Alex McCord. Panic sets in when Bethenny goes for her final wedding dress fitting and realizes it might be too small by the time she walks down the aisle. The stress is heightened by the fact that Jason doesn't want to participate in the planning process and that Bethenny won't have any of her own family members there on her big day. With the wedding just around the corner, it's suddenly time for the rehearsal brunch. - The chef'testants support First Lady Michelle Obama's Let's Move! campaign to fight childhood obesity. The chefs must take over the cafeteria at the local middle school and create healthy, kid-friendly meals spending only $2.68 per child, which is the reimbursement rate schools receive for each child who is eligible for free lunch through the National School Lunch Program.
- For the quickfire, the chefs must guess the ingredients inside a mystery box. For the elimination, the chefs must transform a well-known dish into something entirely new, cooking for none other than CIA Director Leon Panetta, who knows a thing or two about taking on a new identity. The chefs serve CIA Director Panetta and his closest allies in his private dining room inside the agency's closely guarded headquarters.
- The chefs must cook exotic Ethiopian cuisine for the quickfire, and for the elimination are tasked with creating a dish based on one of the foreign embassies in D.C. Chefs, ambassadors and dignitaries representing each country join in the judging.
- For the quickfire challenge, the chefs must create baby food for Padma's newborn. For the elimination, the chefs are tested on their level of hospitality service. Washington Hilton enlists the chefs to create a dish that fits their clients' needs, clients who demand round the clock accessibility to good food that is healthy, affordable and sophisticated. The chefs must create a breakfast, lunch and dinner dish for a select focus group. In order to execute three services, chefs are paired into 7 teams of 2. The team with the best service will be awarded with a Hilton vacation and a featured dish on the Hilton menu.
- The six remaining chefs take over two concession stands at Nationals Park in D.C., creating game snacks for the die-hard fans of the Washington Nationals major league baseball team. But ballparks aren't just serving hot dogs and peanuts any more, adding a variety of tasty and higher-end creations to the menu.
- The chef'testants attempt to create culinary delights that can be speared with a toothpick and served at a Congressional party for the quickfire challenge. For elimination, they must prepare a power lunch at the city's elite Palm restaurant.
- The chefs are blindfolded in a classic cooking relay race for the elimination. Then it's Restaurant Wars time! The chefs are divided into two teams: donkeys versus elephants. The diners will taste each menu and "vote" for the team they want to win.
- The competition blasts off this week as an astronaut orbiting Earth blinks onto a large screen, instructing the chefs on this week's elimination challenge -- to come up with space food creations that do not taste like moon rocks. The winner will have their dish served in space.
- For the quickfire, the chefs must make a pie from scratch. For the elimination, the chefs prepare a classic picnic feast for Capitol Hill interns at Mount Vernon, the home of the first U.S. president, George Washington. While the chefs grill up some tasty dishes, the interns spread out their blankets and play croquet on the lawn.
- Equipped with self-portraits, the artists size up their competition and are randomly put into pairs for their first elimination challenge. They learn that after only one night together, their mission is to create a piece of art that captures the essence of a fellow competitor.

The ladies are invited to a party being hosted by Republican lobbyist Edwina Rogers, and Cat decides to liven things up by dressing like Edwina's favorite politician. Tension is thick when Stacie, Jason, and Cat see Michaele and Tareq for the first time since the grape stomp fiasco.
- Lynda deals with the stress of moving from her Georgetown condo to a sprawling suburban mansion to accommodate her grown children. Styling for an athlete with a penchant for ladies clothes is an entirely foreign experience for Rachel, but Brad seems to be in his element. - There are major changes in the Zoe Camp as Taylor is fired and Rachel is left to deal with the emotional turmoil left behind. To make matters worse, the team has an important Harpers Bazaar cover shoot with Demi Moore, and all must prove that they can cope without Taylor. Kandi, Cynthia and Kim quickly realize this shower is unlike any other shower they've ever attended.
