- The Brady girls try to play matchmaker between Carol's free-spirited grandmother and stick-in-the-mud Grandpa Brady.
- At the National Poultry Show, the prize for Best Duck is only $5.00, while the prize for Best Rooster is $5,000.00, so Daffy Duck decides to don a rubber glove top-knot, plucks a real rooster for tail feathers and enters the show.

- Uncle Jesse is a customer at the Capitol City Jewelery Store when it is robbed by two hooligans named Parker and Rick. Jesse tries to subdue one of the robbers, but is given a concussion that causes him to lose his sight. Jesse is otherwise unhurt and is soon allowed to go home. The only problem is, the Duke cousins want to go after Parker and Rick, who are still at large. So, they convince Boss to let the Duke patriarch stay until they are brought to justice, knowing that the blinded Jesse will helpless should Parker and Rick get to him first.

While Boss is in hiding, Rosco takes over his little fat buddy's administrative duties, relishing the absolute authority that comes with the job.
- "WishKid" was a Saturday morning animated series created to play off the success of pre-teen movie star Macaulay Culkin (of Home Alone). Nick McClary owned a magic baseball glove which, if punched three times, granted his every wish. Stories--which were introduced in live action by Culkin--revolved around Nick's wishes and the trouble that usually followed. Nick's best friend was Darryl, the only one in on the glove's secrets and usually became involved in the adventures. Nick was frequently harassed by Frankie Dutweiler, the neighborhood bully; other characters included neighbor Mrs. Opal, Nick's mom and dad and his baby sister, Katie (voiced by Macaulay's kid sister, Quinn. The show ran one year on NBC, with new episodes airing on the Family Channel in 1996 (along with the original 13 NBC episodes).
- During a harsh winter that kills off the stock of many ranchers, Ben offers to test a new breed's endurance by herding a cow from the stock on Sawtooth Mountain. A rival rancher attempts to undermine Ben's plans by having his foreman shoot the cow, then claim it had succumbed to the cold.

But the Dukes later learn that it might not have been an accident, someone tampered with the car.
