Jennifer vows to expose the man, but her desire for retribution gets the best of her as she decides to confront him, which sadly leads to her untimely death. To add insult to injury, Daven gets wrongfully accused of Jennifer's murder. He spends several hours in jail before the police release him and dismiss the charges, claiming that Jennifer had committed suicide after all. Yet before long Daven uncovers the truth: Jennifer had indeed been murdered, and the culprit was Vince, who had been unaware of Daven's relationship with Jennifer the entire time. Emotions reach their peak and the two childhood friends are brought to a final confrontation.
