- Alice (Florence Vidor) is not satisfied with her family's financial situation and tries to convince others that she comes from a wealthy family. In the end she discovers that she is only fooling herself and decides to go to work to help her father's failing business.
- Phil Dolan (aka Black Jack because of his talent at cards), Nancy Dolan, and a rustler each have a piece of a silver dollar; each piece has a portion of an indented map of an ore mine. Phil must rescue Nancy from the rustlers to keep their portions of the silver dollar from them. The sheriff's posse captures the gang of rustlers just as they reach the ore mine, ensuring their claim to the mine.
- While his wife (Helen Foster) is away, the husband (Johnny Arthur) attempts to clean the house which ends up being a disaster. The house is completely destroyed by an overflowing bathtub, fire in the kitchen, feathers from the pillows everywhere, and a dog (Napolean) decides to chase a cat around the house wiping out what the water and fire didn't damage already.
- A man tries to propose marriage to a girl and the father of the girl converts a movie studio into a Daffy House to deter the man from marrying the girl. Several people are hired to act strangely in the house to convince the man of a change of heart.
- A two year old searching for it's milk bottle finds a hand mirror and accidentally reflects an image off the wall that the maid mistakes for a burglar in the apartment. A hilarious search by the police inside ensues where one by one each person is thought to be the burglar.
- As a boy, Tom Morley (Tom Mix), was forced to watch the killings of his foster parents and the abduction of his foster sister. When he reaches manhood he joins the Texas Rangers and becomes so good at tracking down outlaws that he earns the nickname "The Falcon". He finally tracks down his long-lost foster sister, who has become a spy for the outlaws.
- The film takes place around 1860 in the Rocky Mountain region. Tom Hardy (Tom Mix), a pony express rider, is carrying government gold in a coach to Wassatch accompanied by Alice Calhoun (Sharon Lynn) , the daughter of the US telegraph survey station. The gold is to pay for the US Telegraph Survey and it is to be delivered to the survey chief, Jim Calhoun (Thomas Lingham). The coach is attacked by bandits led by the Slade (Duke Lee) and Kane (Mark Hamilton). Tom escapes from the bandits (Wynn Mace, Lee Shumway, Joey Ray), but the stagecoach keeps moving with Alice inside and Tom rescues her just as the coach topples over the mountain. Kane is in Wassatch when Tom and Alice arrive on horseback and he makes advances to Alice which Tom resents. Calhoun the survey chief meets with Tom to get a report on the robbery attempt and Kane overhears the report and plans to steal the gold. Kane abducts Alice and rides away with her to his stronghold cave and then he and his bandits captures Tom and brings him also to the cave. The US troops come to the rescue and capture Kane, Slade, and the other bandits. Alice falls into Tom's arms at the epilogue of the film.
- Keats (J.B. Warner) is suspected of being the member of a gang of rustlers while he is trying to save his weakling brother from their influence and keep his brother from becoming an outlaw. Keats is captured and about to be hung when the local sheriff (Robert McKenzie) frees him during a ruse. Keats is recaptured by the vigilantes and placed in jail but escapes in time to foil the outlaw gang from robbing the local Wells Fargo office. The Sheriff makes Keats his Deputy and together they capture the gang. After being mortally wounded by the gang, Keats is exonerated by his dying brother who makes a deathbed confession clearing Keats of any wrongdoing.
- A girl, Anita Wayne, finds herself an heiress of her mother's estate, but learns that her father lives in Alaska. Determined to find her father she travels to a mining town in the Klondike, but runs into "Cash" Gynon (a villainous saloon keeper) who claims to be her father. When the town drunkard, Old Skin Full, turns out to be her father, she is rescued by Jim Winston (a gold miner who recently discovered gold) when he fights Gynon who falls into a crevasse and dies.
- The four grown children of prominent Judge Appleton each spend one hour of meditation at his funeral to honor his last request, which allows them to see their lives unfold before them. None of them achieved his high moral standards in their lives prior to his death, and their meditation allows them realize the importance of following their father's high moral tenets.
- Phil Stanley (William Fairbanks) and Harry Hartley (Edmond Cobb) are traveling toward Alaska when they come to a town controlled by scoundrels. The leaders of the town banish Phil and Harry, but they refuse to leave and send Glory (Ena Gregory) to summon the sheriff from a neighboring town to assist them. The sheriff comes to Phil's rescue and arrests the town council of scoundrels.
- "In the days of the California Gold Rush of '49, Sandy is at odds with his partner, Falloner, over the latter's heavy drinking. Falloner is killed by Lasham, who many years before ran off with Falloner's wife. Sandy brings Falloner's children, Cissy and Jimmy, and their Aunt Betsey to Sacramento from Missouri. He then sets out to find the mother and to avenge his partner's death. Lasham induces Betsey to take the night boat for Sandy Bar with him, under the pretense of finding the children's mother. Sandy rides after them and swims to the steamer, arriving in time to save a frightened Betsey from Lasham. In a fight, Lasham is knocked overboard and drowns. The mother, who under the name Madame Le Blanc has been living with Lasham, helping him with his gambling and other nefarious schemes, becomes a novice in a convent. Sandy and Betsey are wed"--AFI catalog, 1921-1930.
- When a wealthy hypochondriac is dissatisfied by the care of the town doctor (Doc Arnold), he consults with a new physician in town who swindles him out of a large sum of money. When his daughter tries to retrieve the check, the quack (Dr. Bell) turns up dead with a gun shot wound to the chest. Doc Arnold lends his expertise to the investigation and solves the case by finding microscopic evidence on the murder weapon left at the scene.
- Rose Silvers (Florence Gilbert) wanders into an outlaw's camp (Pinto Pete played by Ashton Dearholt) as an orphan after losing her father who was killed while gambling. She depends on Sheriff Blake for moral support, but she believes he cares for someone else. Even though Pinto Pete admires Rose, he gives Rose a horse to ride back into town. The peculiar way the horse is shod convinces the sheriff that Pete has been involved in several local crimes and he arrests Pete. The sheriff ends up marrying Rose.
- A young married man wins a flivver (a cheap car) and the parts are sent to his apartment to be assembled. Someone else tries to claim the prize, but is chased off by a policeman. The controversy is settled for both parties when the flivver explodes into several parts rendering it useless.
