- A woman with early onset Alzheimer's Disease goes missing. Is she wandering around in an Alzheimer's haze or did something go very wrong with her husband's drug dealing business.
- TV SeriesOrphaned at birth in Oklahoma, Faith Masters is shocked to learn that she actually has a father - and he's alive and well and living in Los Angeles. - Bobby Bianchi has just been paroled after serving a long prison stretch. All he wants to do now is stay clean and reacquaint himself with his granddaughter, Robbie. But that won't be easy. It seems his former daughter-in-law, Lena, holds Bobby directly responsible for her husband's death and won't allow him any contact with the girl. But Bobby Bianchi has bigger issues. Life and death issues. Even though he's paid the price to the state for his crime, that same crime interfered with a Russian mob operation. And now that Bobby's out, mob boss Ilya Volkov is demanding payback. Or else.
- Faith Masters was told that her parents were killed in an auto accident when she was an infant. Now in her mid-twenties, she discovers that while her mother did, indeed, die, it was not in a car crash and her father is very much alive. Faith decides she must meet her father, no matter the consequences.
- Following some quality bonding time between Faith and her newly found father Joel, the pair make their way to Joel's place of business, a rare & used bookstore. There, Faith meets her teenage cousin Becca, who is being raised by Joel, following her own mother's death. But Becca feels threatened by Faith's presence and does not hide it very well. Joel tries to play peace keeper, but it's an uphill climb. This may be a long-term assignment for Joel - Faith may want to stay permanently.
- Once they get to the Goldman home, Becca attempts to shock her cousin Faith with some bad behavior. Faith moves in anyway, wanting to be close to her newly discovered father, even if it means living under the same roof as Becca. Joel is thrilled that this wonderful daughter has shown up out of nowhere to revitalize his life. Becca, however, uses every opportunity she can to let Faith know that she's in the way and not a top priority in her Uncle Joel's life. On the day when Faith is to start her important new job, Becca is not about to let her go to work without offering an unwelcome distraction. Once at work, Faith meets her new boss, who is not at all happy he had no say in hiring her. And he lets her know it in no uncertain terms.
- After working nearly 24/7 for two months, Faith finally has a day off. It's Sunday and Joel has planned an afternoon picnic in the park for friends and family. Before the afternoon festivities, Faith stops by a local church for a moment of solace - her first time since leaving the Bible Belt. Once at the park, Faith, Joel, Becca and friends cut loose with food and games. But the good times come to an abrupt end as an uninvited guest shows up, putting Faith's future plans in jeopardy.
- Following the picnic debacle, Faith is holed up in a hotel room seeking solace and maybe a drink. Feeling betrayed by Yvette, she's unsure whether she wants to return to work. Meanwhile, Joel is paid a visit at the bookstore by the mysterious Avram Ben-Meier, who delivers an envelope and maybe a threat. Later that day, a shaken Joel visits his daughter Faith at her hotel, where he shares stories about Grace, Faith's deceased mother. But as the wine flows, Faith presses her father about what really goes on at the bookstore. Joel does his best to evade the issue, but in the end, he may have to tell Faith exactly what's going on - if only to save her.
- In bad shape, Eddie returns with the pillbox; Brendan shows up at the LAPD station to report his mother's disappearance, surprising Miigs; Kidnap victim Fiona thinks husband Kevin is visiting, but is it her mind playing tricks?
- Following his interview by Lt. Miigs, Brendan Fitzgerald is corralled by Officer Campos and pumped for information. What she finds out and then reveals to Det. Hollis is a mind blower; Miigs has a fateful meeting with Sgt. Bustamante - one bad cop to another. It doesn't end well; Unaware that Kevin Fitzgerald is lurking somewhere in the house and thinking Eddie has fled, Jackie feels scared and alone. After Miigs delivers yet another abusive rant, she's had it - time to check out of the whole mess. But can she leave Mrs. Fitzgerald behind?
