His perfect stone design could fall to pieces for just a few inches of difference in the veining. Disaster after disaster could blow this these two projects apart.

The side wall on every level is tearing away from the back and front, and pure friction is holding the building together. The bluestone sidewalks in front of the house pose a problem because they are landmarked, and if he breaks one could get fined and lose his license. On top of all of this, the police show up to deal with a permit that expired just hours ago that could halt work altogether outside.
