- Yae, an unremarkable girl working in a cafe and living with a friend, finds herself unable to afford rent when her friend suddenly gets married, and she loses her job in the same day. It's only when her boyfriend dumps her that she finally hits rock bottom. She's at her wits' end when her childhood friend Takumi suddenly reappears into her life. Takumi suggests that Yae take on a part-time job as his "fake wife" for the next six months. He has his reasons for wanting people to think he's married. Yae has no other choice but to accept his proposal, and in return receives housing and living expenses for playing the role of his "fake wife." So begins a "fake marriage" with a time limit. Unbeknownst to Yae, she was Takumi's first love, even though she thinks of him as nothing more than a childhood friend. Takumi struggles awkwardly but earnestly to win Yae's heart and find true love. Even though their marriage starts as a sham, will the day come when this couple can become something more?

- Mizuho Tanimachi has big dreams of living in Daikanyama and becoming a famous writer. In the middle of the winter, this strong-willed 26-year-old moves to Tokyo from the snowy countryside. Never doubting her ability, she keeps telling herself that if her desire to realize her dreams is strong enough, they will come true. What is waiting for her in Tokyo though, is something altogether different. Kenta Morinaga is an up-and-coming variety program scenario writer. Kenta moved to Tokyo five years ago, and with luck on his side, he became well-known in no time. Kenta and Mizuho are from the same hometown, and were friends growing up, but their friendship never blossomed into anything else. "Hachiko," as Kenta was known as when he was growing up, just goes with the flow and doesn't really have any big aspirations for himself. These two, who aren't having much luck with work or with their love lives, suddenly run into each other one day in Tokyo in the middle of winter. Being 26 is a tough point in life because it's too late to think of new dreams, but on the other hand, it's too late to abandon old ones.
- Hatoko Hikari (Tomoko Yamaguchi), a young girl, comes to visit from Tokyo once every four years in the summer. Hikari's outrageous behavior brings a new breeze to the pension. - Shinobu Satomi (Tori Matsuzaka) works in the Mobile Investigation Unit of The Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department. The Mobile Investigation Unit conducts the initial investigation at all crime scenes. He works with Yuki Inokuma (Fumino Kimura). They are a couple, but they keep their relationship a secret at work. They both hope to work at the #1 Investigation Station. One day, they meet beautiful Kara Tachibana at the site where a dead body was found. Kara Tachibana appears at the other crime scenes involving grotesque murders. She shows an interest in Yuki Inokuma. Shinobu Satomi thinks it's a bad sign for Yuki Inouma. To protect his girlfriend from danger, he struggles to find uncover the truth behind the serial murder cases and Kara Tachibana's identity.

- This is a love comedy that takes you behind the scenes of the latest bridal businesses, as well as the human drama of engaged couples, seen through the wedding planners' eyes, as they help to put on weddings. Toru Oomori works in the accounting department of a medium-sized firm. Unable to escape restructuring by his company, he gets sent to work at an affiliated company, "Sweet Bridal," as its president. Toru realizes his days as a salaried worker are numbered. That's why he's determined to increase sales, and regain lost ground. - Over 2 millions Japanese have been infected by the Hepatitis C epidemic, and each year over 3,0000 of them lose their lives to it. Through interviews with victims of this disease, Fuji TV sheds a light on "fibrinogen," a blood-clotting agent that had been kept away in the dark. Both the Japanese government and pharmaceutical companies say that the Fibrinogen used in the 1980's no longer exists. But we discovered it in a hospital located in the country, and tested its genetic level. The tests revealed for the first time that the drug in fact was contaminated with the hepatitis C virus. When this program was aired, those infected with Hepatitis C by the blood-clotting agent filed a class action suit against both the government and pharmaceutical companies.
