- After years in the fashion industry, the once naive Kamal (Rushdy Abaza) becomes Cairo's top fashion designer and ruthless lothario. News of his fiancée Nadia's (Soad Hosny) arrival after three years abroad is a dilemma, as Nadia was in love with the naive, loyal Kamal. Kamal thus resorts to hiding his womanizing past by all means possible.
- Based on Tharwat Abaza's short story, 'Shey min al Khawf' takes place in a rural Egyptian village. Atris' reign of terror on the villagers is put to the test when a public act of defiance is carried out by Fu'ada, the object of his affection.
- "El Gareema el Daheka" (The Funny Crime) is an adaptation of the play/film "The Gazebo". TV producer Medhat (Ahmed Mazhar) learns he is the target of a dangerous man, who's out to kill him to settle an old family feud. To add to the stress, he has just wed and his new bride (Soad Hosny) is unaware of Medhat's current predicament.
- An adaptation of Alexandre Bisson's famous play "Madame X", "El Murra el maghoula" is the story of Fatima (Shadia), a working class performer who marries the rich Dr. Ahmed (Emad Hamdi). Together, they have a son, Samir, who Fatima loves more than life itself. However, she falls prey to a blackmailing thug Abbas (Kamal El Shenawy) and is falsely arrested. Dr Ahmed divorces Fatima (seeing her as a shame to the family) and bans her from seeing her son, thus setting in motion Fatima's descent into a life of hardship and misery.
- A story where two opposite worlds collide. Wealthy socialite Maddie (Nadia Lotfy) lives for two things: booze and parties, while Omar (Ahmed Mazhar) - a sophisticated mid-level engineer - tirelessly campaigns for downtrodden worker's rights. A chance encounter between the two leads to an existential crisis. An adaptation of the story by the late, great Egyptian author Ihsan Abdel Qudoos.
- This comedy revolves around Wahid (Fouad el Mohandes), a happily married composer/lyricist who has a one-off dream about kissing the gorgeous singer/neighbor (Hind Rostom) he collaborates with. He feels guilty, and foolishly confesses this to his naturally suspicious wife Latifa (Shoueikar) who instantly concludes they are having an affair. This is worsened tenfold when Latifa lets her parents (Mary Mounib and Youssef Wahby) in on the situation.
- Based on Marc Camoletti's play "Boeing Boeing", the story follows the womanizing exploits of Mounir (Fouad El Mohandes), an air traffic controller juggling five different air-hostess girlfriends from all over the world. His fiancée Mona (Shouweikar), an Egyptian air-hostess, threatens to dump him if he doesn't quit his playboy lifestyle. Mounir thus decides to seek help from a prominent - albeit sexually frustrated - psychiatrist (Abdel Moneim Madbouly).
- Nahr el Hub is the Egyptian adaptation of Leo Tolstoy's "Anna Karenina". Nawal, a rural girl, is married off to a wealthy aristocrat called Taher Basha (Zaki Rostom). Nawal gets increasingly depressed due to her husband's cold, cruel demeanor, despite their lavish life. Things take a turn (for both better and worse) when she meets Khaled (Omar Sharif), a handsome young army officer.
- A father invents a lurid past for his awkward young nephew to present him as an exciting suitor for his daughter.
- A chance meeting at an auction brings together Sawsan (Faten Hamama), a working class girl and Adel (Omar Sharif), heir to a vast fortune with several estates to his name. This leads to a whirlwind marriage. This development spells trouble for Adel's fair-weather bourgeois clique, who are used to manipulating him with their own financial interests at heart.
- Teenage Nadia is raised by her father after her mother's death. Returning home from boarding school, her father has re-married. Jealous Nadia decides to get rid of the competition of a stepmother by accusing her of sleeping with her uncle.
- Esmat Kazem (Rushdy Abaza) runs a smuggling operation between Egypt and Lebanon, using his cabaret in Cairo as a front. Ibrahim, the smuggling ring's operative in Beirut, is murdered over a dispute with Esmat. The police relay the news of the murder to Ibrahim's sister Lamia (Sabah), a former singer at Esmat's cabaret and an old flame of Esmat's. When she learns of her brother's death, she decides to avenge her brother's murder by co-operating with the police and bringing down Esmat's smuggling ring.
- An unexpected love affair quickly blossoms between aspiring down-on-his-luck reporter Salah (Abdel Halim Hafez) and the subject of his first newspaper scoop, a pretty young heiress (Zubaida Tharwat)who's soon to be forced into an arranged marriage.
