- Police departments across the state, experiencing chronic manpower shortages, must draw on officers from the lower 48 states to fight a rising crime rate; newcomers learn that, like everything else, policing is different in Alaska.
- A young Mexican boy (Joe/Jose) is given up shortly after being born to an American family. Once the boy reached teen age the mother with the help of legendary Mexican bandit/gun hand is trying to get him back. Paladin gets the mother to agree to allow the boy to decide where he will live. Since the boy wants a better education to allow for his plans to be an engineer to come true, he chooses to stay with his parents. This leaves Paladin to deal to with the women's backer.
- Bud pressures Tim into impulsively buying his Pistons season tickets, without talking to Jill.
- Because of a suggestion he made, Ralph gets laid off. While they're trying to figure out how to cope with the bills, Alice decides to go back to work over Ralph's objections. The real trouble starts when Ralph finds out who has to do the house work, and when Alice's boss comes to the apartment to pick her up.
- The Kramdens get a telegram from Alice's mother, telling them she was coming for a visit. Ralph is less then pleased and asks to stay with the Nortons. When Trixie pushes Ed to get Ralph to go back to his wife Ed says some things that makes her mad and she goes and stays with Alice. Later Ralph and Alice find out they made a mistake when the read the telegram, and Ralph finds he's put his foot in his mouth.
- 1952–19738mTV-G7.6 (15)TV EpisodeRalph is home sick, and as usual is feeling sorry for himself, and being a bit of baby about some of his treatments. He's also worrying about missing work and not being able to pay his bills it then that Alice lets it be known that she is worried about paying on a life insurance policy she has on him. Ralph gets very upset and accuses Alice of being selfish. Shortly there after Ralph finds out Alice has had a policy on her own life to protect him if anything happens to him. Ralph soon realizes how lucky he and lets Alice know how lucky he feels he is.
- One of the shortest Honeymooners sketches ever. The story opens with Ralph complaining about being dragged all over town shopping. Thats when he finds out Alice spent his whole paycheck. And they fight about him not having any money for the week. At that moment Ed comes down and needs five dollars for an emergency so he agrees to give him the money. To Alice's surprise he digs out five dollars he'd be hiding to buy her anniversary present that was being delivered that day. When the c.o.d. delivery arrives Alice pulls out her hidden money for Ralph to use. About this time Alice remembers she has to have a pickle and have it right away, and she starting goggling down pickles. Ralph thinks she's pregnant and he starts getting excited only to find out the doctor wants her to eat pickles as part of test for a suspected allergy. Ralph's disappointed but Alice points that someday will come.
- Kirk has a date with Leslie. Dick decides he wants to go skiing but since he doesn't know how to ski he gets Leslie to go since she's an Olympic skiing hopeful. One thing leads to another and she winds up with a knee injury that will probably end her dreams. Kirk and all of Leslie's school friends wind up angry with Dick.
- The station starts a phone-in advice show, and Jennifer eventually proves to be the best host for it.
- Herb's wife is out of town for 10 days. And he decides this is the time to go wild and get Jennifer to finally go out with him. When Jennifer finds out she has to deal with Herb for 10 days, she tells Bailey she can't make it. Bailey's advice to Jennifer is just to take Herb up on it and he'll chicken out. The next time Herb asks her, she accepts and her troubles begin, because Herb doesn't seem to be backing down. As the time approaches Herb does seem to be backing down, he is thinking about his family and missing them. It's around this time that Les tells Herb what he had overheard the ladies saying about how they expected to put an end to Herb's chasing of Jennifer. With this news, Herb decides he's got to go for it.
- Vern's boss wont let him take Margie to Hawaii with on business trip to win a new client who's a semi-retired movie star who's vain about her age and prefers younger men. Vern's boss gets him to dye his hair and pretend to be younger. Vern had told Margie she could go on this trip and he had already acquired the tickets he had to tell her his plans had changed and he was going to Alaska and she could cash in the tickets and use the money for any thing she wanted. Margie and Roberta decide to use the tickets to go to Hawaii instead of cashing them in. Once in Hawaii the competition for the client starts and running into his full grown daughter could put a crimp in his youth based attempt at landing this new client.
- 1952–1973TV-G8.1 (13)TV EpisodeRalph and Ed run into one of Ralph's old school chum at a restaurant. While talking with him they find out he's single and wants to meet someone. After a couple of failed attempts in the restaurant and one the phone they finally manage to land him date with someone they know. Unfortunately Trixie was standing next to the woman when she made the date and Trixie thought since Ralph was the one who set it up he was the one going out with the girl. Ralph makes things worse for himself by coming home with flowers for the first time in 5 years. He's only grateful for having Alice instead of being lonely like his friend. Alice doesn't believe him and confronts him about what she heard. He hits the ceiling and since he can't convince her that its not true he makes it worse by going along with her. Ralph manages to convince Alice that her suspicions aren't true and his friend and the girl he found for him hit it off
- 1952–197333mTV-G8.7 (20)TV EpisodeRalph is fighting with Alice about her sisters up coming wedding. It seems Ralph has world series tickets for the day of the wedding. He and Ed cook up a plan to get the bride and groom to elope. The only way the groom to be will go through with it is if Ralph and Ed help with the event. They show up with the ladder and help the bride with all her baggage, and there's a lot. After the bride is outside and all the bags are down stairs, the bride and groom get in a fight and call off the elopement, and stomp off in a huff. Ralph and Ed throw all the bag back inside just in time for the bridge and groom to show back up to say they've made up and need the bags back. Ralph refuses and sends them on their way with what they have. Just as he's taking down the ladder a beat cop shows up and listens to their tale about the tickets and wedding. He proceeds to tell Ralph the Giants won the game earlier in the day (the 4th in a row) and had already won the Pennant. He also doesn't believe their story and arrests them, adding insult to injury.
- In Memphis, a local athlete and a friend are ambushed in their car in a parking lot. The friend survives and aids in the investigation. In Miami, a tourist visiting to celebrate a family member's birthday is robbed and murdered. After some basic police work, they've a suspect and must find him.
- In Dallas, a man is shot to death while trying to protect a friend outside a crowded nightclub. In Detroit, a warm spring day turns deadly when a basketball game erupts in violence.
- Joey's sure he's going to have a son; he's up all night trying to convince a mostly asleep Ellie that their son will be a doctor. And when he's not going after Ellie he's bugging everyone else they know. Ellie has heard it so much that she has a dream about her son as a doctor operating on a long time friend of the family.
- Ralph gets chosen for a commercial for a candy bar company that sponsor an opera show for TV. He has some problems learning his lines, but the biggest problem comes when he develops a toothache before the big night. When he bites into the bar during the live broadcast he winds up writhing in pain all over the stage.
- 1952–197334mTV-PG8.0 (15)TV EpisodeRalph wins $73.85 playing poker. He wants to avoid giving all his winnings to Alice so he hides his winnings in a suit he hasn't worn for 5 years. While he's away a charity comes by and asks for any unwanted items. When Ralph finds out what happened to his suit he gets Ed to help him try to get it back. Their plans all fail. But only after he feels he'll never see the money again that Alice tells him the man who picked up the suit found the money and returned it. But not before she tortures him a little to get him for hiding how much he had actually won from her.
- Ralph and Ed spring an idea on their wives to buy a $989.00 cottage. Alice and Trixie are against it, Ralph talks Alice and Trixie into looking at the model. Once they see it the girls love it, Ralph wants to do the negotiating and after finding out the model they were looking at is double the price they expected they take a deal that will supposedly give them the same place minus a "few simple extra's". After they buy it they find out on their first trip to the cottage they were snookered by the salesman and the place they bought is a run down shack. They wind up stuck there the first night and the couples wind up fighting over whose mistake the purchase was. Once they got back to the city and settle their argument they try to unload the cottage to recover their money. Ralph puts and ad in the paper and finds a buyer who pays $1000.00 for the property. With the money in hand Ralph has to know why anyone would pay that much for that property only to find out their customer had inside information that there is road coming through that property and the buyer will be selling it for $4000.00
- Ralph & Ed are very involved in a local election campaign, on the day of election Ed tells Ralph that he's not going to vote. Ralph blows a gasket, he gives Ed a history lesson to remind him why he has to vote. After bullying Ed into agreeing to vote Ralph finds out that Alice is going to vote for the candidate that's running against the candidate Ralph's supporting. This leads to a huge argument Ralph feels that a wife has to vote the way her husband votes. As they are getting ready to leave to vote Ralph realizes he forgot to register to vote. He winds up feeling like a fool and apologizes to Alice for trying bully her, and as usual she forgives him and he realizes yet again how lucky he is.
- The Kramdens and the Nortons are going to a Halloween party. Alice has made their costumes and Ralph doesn't like his. He decides to go a bum and rips up his only suit. Alice tries to stop him but he insists he won't need the suit again. When the people they were supposed to go with arrive he finds out it's not a Halloween party it a formal dance for his bosses birthday. Once Ralph realizes he can't go to this party he winds up having to apologize to Alice who of course forgives him.
- Ralph over hears two men arguing in the park and intercedes on the smaller ones behalf. While trying to calm down the little man he finds out that they were fighting over a "miracle hair restorer." Supposedly the bigger guy wanted to buy the formula for the hair restorer and the little guy wouldn't sell. The little guy claims to have invented the product and had wanted investors but didn't want to sell. Ralph sees a chance to make some money, and the little guy sees a sucker. For just $500 he can get the rights to all of New York City which the inventor claims should make him a million dollars. Ralph cashes in his insurance policy and gets Ed to kick in two hundred dollars. The inventor drops a bag full of bottles of chemicals and a copy of the formula so they can mix their own. Shortly after they start mixing Ralph's boss comes by and since he losing his hair Ralph convinces him he can help him. Big surprise, it doesn't work in fact it removes what little hair the man had. Ralph finds himself out of a job and down $300 so he decides to try the same scan in the park with Ed helping him. After Ed's little part in the scam is complete and he leaves Ralph tries finishing up the scam. As he starts explaining that he's an inventor the man in the park tells him he's invented an electric zipper. We leave Ralph with the inventor getting more information on the electric zipper
- Ralph's doctor tells him he needs to lose weight, Alice decides she's going make sure he follows the doctors orders. While Ralph's at work a neighbor comes down and asks Alice to hide some food for her for her husbands surprise party. She hides the food before Ralph comes home. When Ralph does get home he in a bad mood and demanding food. Alice sticks to her guns, and tries to help Ralph come up with some ways to distract himself from his hunger pangs. Everything fails, and he remains grumpy. In the mean time Alice goes up to the Norton's house leaving Ralph alone with the food which he finds by accident and eats almost all of it. When the neighbor comes down Alice finds out what he's done. Alice makes things right with the neighbor and Ralph is embarrassed. He apologizes and promises to go on a diet the next day.
- Alice's brother Frank comes over for dinner. Ralph and Frank have a history of problems and they spend the evening arguing. As the evening comes to a close Frank as for a loan of $500 since Frank already owes Ralph $500 Ralph throws him out. But Ralph decides that the inside information his brother-in-law had about a new highway going past a closed hotel was a good idea. He gets Norton involved and they buy the place. Needless to say the hotel is a dump. They actually manage to do a nice job of rehabilitating the hotel only to find out that the road is going to be an elevated highway.
