- King Karl is desperate. His 12 daughters hold secrets from him. Every morning their dancing shoes have holes in their soles. Only Amanda's shoes don't have holes. Many princes already tried to unveil their secrets, but didn't succeed and ended at the gallows. Soldier and puppeteer Anton falls in love with Princess Amanda the first time he sees her. He only has 149 more to sell to make a tidy profit. Stuck for a solution the Trotters decamp to Sid's burger van. Del's conscience seems to get the better of him, and he tells Rodney and Grandad what a shame it is that the market traders can't afford to donate a tree to the local church this year. Especially the little orphans. Left to guard the trees, Rodney steals away to the church. The Vicar quickly debunks Del's story, and Rodders realises the tale was a scam to get an endorsement from The Church of England.
- After serveral years judge Sabine returns for a class reunion back to the village she grew up. She just arrives when Lena, the daughter of her first love Leonhard, disappears. Lena left Dr. Körbler's house after a tutorial lesson and didn't come home. Dr. Körbler is responsible for Sabine's childhood trauma, because he is a pedophile. Everyone in the village seems to cover for him.
- During the making of a Chinese film in the harbour a stunt man gets killed by a sword, which someone stuck in a slit in a door. There are four suspects. Henk van Leur scouts for locations for the film. His brother was involved with the Chinese mafia a few years back and was shot dead on the street. Henk is still upset about this and pestered the police at the time to find the killer. They never found him. Cor Dijkstra does the catering. He had a Chinese wife, but she left him 18 years ago. Jimmie Do is a young man who is a stand-in for the stuntmen and adores Ka Sing who is the lead actor in the film. His dream is to become a stuntman. Siu-Waj is the leading lady and only speaks a few words Dutch. It seems that someone kicked her by accident during a shoot. Lex finds her very attractive. While on patrol Busse comes across another dead Chinese stuntman. The next day they continue filming. Two stuntmen are in the mast of the ship and act a fight. One of them falls and is supposed to get caught by a safety net. When he hits the net, the rope, with which it is fastened, breaks and the stuntmen hits the ground and dies. There are now three Chinese stuntmen dead within 24 hours. Busse gets a new partner: Rayna, fresh from the police academy. She immediately makes the impression that she is no pushover and almost loses her new job on the first day. Chief Nora Roemers has a meeting with a Chinese delegation. She tells them that they have to stop filming, because the police can't guarantee their safety anymore. When she leaves the meeting she gets shot. Luckily only her arm was hit. Lex gets talking with the chambermaid of the hotel where Siu-Waj stays. She has been in The Netherlands for a long time and knows a lot about the Chinese community. She becomes the key to the solution of the case.
- The police see a suitcase hanging from a bridge. When they examine it, they find an alt saxophone and a chopped of right hand with a wedding ring. Through the ring they find out the woman was Yoyo, a very good and famous sax player. She also wrote the music and lyrics for her band. Her husband Koos is also her manager. Her sister Annemieke does the backing vocals and her husband Istvan is the producer. No-one benefits from Yoyo's death, so there seems no reason for killing her. The police drag Yoyo's body out of the water. She was in there for at least twelve hours. She was strangled with a snake leather belt with a big buckle. Almost certain the same belt she wore in the last video they had almost finished before Yoyo's untimely death. Then the police find out that Yoyo couldn't play or write at all. Annemieke did it all, but wasn't given many credits for it. Yoyo was just the face of the band and mimed everything. It also turns out that Koos and Annemieke were an item before Yoyo came along. And now Istvan and Yoyo have a secret affair, which Koos knows about. Also all the royalties go to Istvan now she's dead. So suddenly everyone has a motive for killing her.
- Busse, Rayna and Lex are on patrol and see a boat. There is a fancy party going on. They all wear Venetian masks. Marga has a date and they dine in a restaurant. While they're eating the party from the boat come in. Somehow Marga is interested in them and follows them for a while. The party leaves and go back with the boat. When they arrive back, the captain of the boat walks to the after deck and finds four of the party bent over the body of the woman in a red dress. Ryan was murdered with a pin straight through her heart. When the four are questioned they exactly tell the police how Ryan was killed with the pin. Nora is not satisfied with this explanation. She wants to know who of the four killed Ryan.
- The rowing club at the water sports track is in total uproar. Stéphanie, a young rower of 15, has gone missing. When her mobile is found in the bushes, everyone understands that she didn't just run from home. In the meantime Pasmans and Raymond keep themselves busy with a less alarming disappearance: a group of African musicians on tour lost their orchestra leader. When Jacqueline gets hospitalized John warns Bruno to keep himself ready.
- The team are still after the murderer on Stéphanie. But her father is still without a trace and the rowing trainer keeps insisting that he is innocent. The first breakthrough comes after a confession from Jean-Claude Maes. The night before the disappearance, when he was peeping, he saw how a man was trying to rape Stéphanie at the boathouse. Meanwhile Bruno and John keep watch at Jacqueline's deathbed.
- Britt learns the astonishing story of Alek, but it's too late. She's locked up with a couple of East European refugees in an air tide container. Their only hope is Juri, a young boy who was left at a parking during a break. John has had enough of Tina, who is completely unmotivated to do anything. He fires her, but she is the only one who can get through to Juri.
- A girl of fifteen goes missing. Her parents are busy businesspeople, who didn't know she had an older boyfriend or that she is pregnant. When they arrest the boyfriend, he doesn't want to talk at first, but he doesn't know either where she is. Bruno shows off to a journalist. Rik helps renovating Dominique and Wilfried's apartment. Dominique notices things keep missing and doesn't want Rick there anymore. Merel goes to a conference in Brussels, while Tommy goes to work. Lieselot has a feeling someone is following her. It might be Tommy. Nick wants to check it. John thinks Tina could study for a higher degree, but she doesn't want to.
- A young strawberry grower gets caught early in the morning, when he tries to drag his dead father in a delivery van. He claims he wanted to take his father to the hospital, but Britt and Merel soon see through his story. Pasmans and Raymond get a little less important case from John; a 'dognapping'. When Bruno treats his very sick mother to a dinner, she tells him something from the heart that will change his view on John forever.
- Sofie is in a coma. With perseverance Britt and her team search for the robbers who shot Sofie. One of the trails lead to an old acquaintance of Raymond: Giovanni di Renzo, a shady car dealer. Giovanni claims he bettered his live, because he is on the brink of becoming a father. His wife is about to give birth at any moment. Meanwhile Nick stays at the hospital with Sofie, who fights for her live.
- Two motorcycle gangs clash and destroy the furniture of a bar. When the team tries to find who is responsible for the damage, nobody seems to be willing to name the culprits. Soon it turns out that behind the rough appearance of the motorcyclists there are just some ordinary men, with ordinary men's dreams and ordinary men's problems. In the Feiremans case Britt and Robert get invited for a tourist outing to the Begijnhof. They come to a strange discovery.
- A prostitute is being pushed into the trunk of a car with great violence by two men and disappears without a trace. The next day a man contacts the police with an anonymous phone call and thinks that's it. But there is no case without a witness. John puts pressure on his team to find this witness. When Bruno exuberantly calls out that he has won the lottery, Nick starts to fantasize about what he will do with the money. But Bruno doesn't understand it that way.
- A seriously burned woman is thrown out of a car in front of the emergency door of a hospital and abandoned. The diagnosis of Mihriban is very straight: the woman will die soon. Nobody knows who she is, but she wants to see her children one more time. While the situation of the burned woman rapidly deteriorates, the team tries hard to find her children. Between Merel en Winter World War 3 threatens to break out.
- During a nightly patrol, Pasmans and Raymond discover a wounded man in his car in front of his own house. It is 'Den Bok', the former gym teacher of Pasmans to which he keeps the fondest memories. But 'Den Bok' is very secretive about his injuries. The behaviour of Pasmans' model teacher is more and more questioned. During a reassembling of facts, Britt gets unpleasantly confronted with Feiremans again.
- John persuades Merel, with soft force, to form a duo with Tina. An elderly lady froze to death in a bus shelter. Merel is convinced she was dumped by her heartless grown up children. Tina puts the blame with the old lady. With this she draws from experience. In the meantime Bruno makes acquaintance with Superbiker, a strange example of the Gentse city fauna and Maaike Martens.
- Two fake custom officers steal a truck in the middle of the night. The female driver gets away with a lot of fright and a broken collarbone. When the police find illegal cigarettes in the cargo hold, she says she knows nothing about it. But it isn't the first time she is suspected of smuggling. Britt and Robert talk in Brussels to a young woman who survived an attack from the murderer. Due to circumstances they have to stay the night in a hotel.
- A Molotov cocktail is thrown through the windows of the justice of peace Heyermans. His daughter Anika is also in the house. The police soon are on the trail of some activists who occupy a natural area for which Heyermans gave the order to evacuate. When the police try to talk to the activists, they find out there is also someone living not too far from them. She is evicted from her house due to the same evacuation order from Heyermans. Tommy Desmit asks Merel to put in a good word for him with Lieselot Winter, because she doesn't let him see his baby Lola. Lieselot tells Merels she doesn't trust Tommy alone with Lola. Merel tries to mediate, but Lieselot seems scared. Meanwhile Tommy tries to win over Merel.
- Two men in police-uniform burgled a house. They wore old uniforms, not the new ones. Everyone has to turn in their old uniforms so they can check them. Raymond's uniform seems to be used during the robbery. Wilfried thinks Rik might be one of the robbers, because of what happened at his apartment earlier. Raymond absolutely doesn't believe him and is angry. But slowly he starts doubting Rik and sets up a trap to see if he has anything to do with the robberies. Bruno and Steffi have a night out at a club and get into a fight with a friend of Steffi's. Tina's mother turns up at the station. Tina is not at all happy to see her mother. Lieselot thinks Tommy stalks her and is scared. Nick wants to help her. Merel tells him Tommy was on police-watch all night.
- Rik Heymans wants to pick up his daughter at his (ex)-wifes. She refuses to let Marijke go with him. Rik gets angry and the police gets in between. At the station the wife explains why she refused him to take Marijke with him. A crash gives Vanneste and Selatin an assignment neither of them likes very much.
- Caroline Heymans, a blind young woman, is strangled at home and exposed in a shocking way. Profiler Robert Nieuwman sees in this method the signature of an assassin who also made three victims in The Netherlands. Merel gets provisional charge over the investigation, but Britt feels that she is insecure and interrupts a family outing in Paris to help her partner. For a start she is not very impressed by the theories of Nieuwman.
- It's the opening evening of the bicycle race in 'Het Kuipke'. The competitors deliver a fine contest, the audience amuse themselves and the police are ready to catch any pickpocket and to try to keep the peace. But they can't prevent a shooting at the car park. The victim is Brit's husband, Johan Van Lancker. The trail soon leads to someone within the department.
- Pasmans finally introduces his new love to the other team members, although this doesn't go exactly accordingly to plan. When the couple leaves for a weekend in Paris, they see how a girl on a bicycle gets run off the road. The driver doesn't stop and flees. With Pasmans duty comes first. He cancels his fun weekend to track down the driver. Britt and Merel discover there might be a connection with their investigations.
- Up to know Nick is not very successful as an undercover agent. But when he gets beaten up and robbed one night, suddenly the case accelerates. A hotel guest tempts him into a rendezvous at the Leie and proposes an art deal to him. Pasmans and Raymond investigate the attempt on a young illegal and cross paths with an old acquaintance.
- Mystery: a young woman, handicapped, strangled and put to show in a shocking way. It seems that the murderer of the last 4 victims has struck again. But Luc Feiremans is in jail, it's impossible that he is the killer. For the prime suspect and his lawyer it is very clear. The real culprit is still running loose; the police have made a mistake and have the wrong man in custody for months. John, Britt and Robert refuse to believe that simple truth.
- Britt and Merel examine the drugs related death of a prisoner and get to know Lucas. He's a mentally disabled man who gets bullied and beaten in prison. John, Pasmans and Raymond try to get a lovesick musician from the roof. Nick fights to get back with the team. And Bruno gets more and more annoyed with the fact that the 'Moustache' always seems to pick out young women to give them a ticket.
- Britt has fled for chief commissioner Van Reeth. She starts an inquire on her own to seek the mysterious Martin Dunn. In the mean time the team try to concentrate on an accident with flight. New inspector Tina Demeester gets on John's nerves. At least, it appears that way. Merel is the only one who keeps in touch with Britt, but then also this gets lost.
- At a swimming-pool the seven year old Bram goes missing. A lead takes them to David Devriendt. Some years ago there was an investigation against him for sexual assault on Joeri Van Damme. Joeri was seven years old at the time when David took him from a swimming-pool to his house. When Joeri was 18 he accused David, but then it was too late and the case was dropped. David's first alibi isn't correct, but his second is. So who took Bram and where is he? Raymond can't see Rik as his son anymore now he's accused of breaking in, theft and using drugs. Wilfried and John try make Raymond see, Rik deserves a second chance. Tommy is stalking Lieselot again. Nick tries to talk to him, but Tommy attacks him. Lieselot records it. Nick shows this to Merel. Tina's mother is in hospital after she was found on a bench in the park. It comes to a clash between the two.
- Britt takes the oath as Chief Constable. She depends on taking over the job as Team Chief Constabel from Nadine Vanbruane, but also her new colleague Van Reeth wants the job. After a joke gets out of hand, Nadine gets heavily beaten up. Britt has to prove under ungrateful circumstances that she is worthy of the title Team Chief Constable.
- With pride Commissioner Nauwelaerts and his team want to tell the press about a large narcotics capture. But the good feeling soon changes. The Russian narcotics mafia demands their property back and take John as security. It appears that the local police have seriously underestimated their enemy. John is kidnapped, Bruno goes mad and Britt gets thrown into the battle unprepared in between two honeymoons.
- Raymond and Pasmans prevent arson at a furniture factory. The manager isn't very helpful during the search for the culprit. It is clear that something is covered up. Bruno goes on a search for his stolen car and meets the shady car dealer Giovanni Di Renzo. Nick and Mihriban get more and more concerned about the junkie girl Eva. Merel tries to cope with the break up with the married Tommy Desmit, but discovers that it always can get worse.
- Sofie dies. It's a great shock to the team and now they are even more determined to get the killer. Dazed by anger and sorrow, Nick makes an unforgivable professional mistake. He pulls his gun in the midst of a group of playing kids. Britt tries to protect him against himself and against John Nauwelaerts, the chief of Internal Affair. She takes all the blame on herself and offers her resignation. But she didn't count on Nauwelaerts.
- Just when the team gets a big breakthrough in the search for the quadruple killer, Britt is faced with a gigantic crisis in her family. Dorien doesn't endure it any longer to always be left alone. She runs away and doesn't leave one word of her whereabouts. Britt tries to find her daughter back and simultaneously continues with the hunt for the killer. She is in danger of messing up on both fronts.
- After a carjacking at a garden centre goes wrong, two attackers take the wife of the manager with them and dump her. In the ice cold winter night Britt and her team organize a search for Mrs. Bosman. It's becoming a race against time, because her chances of survival are getting smaller with the minute. Bruno gets the new chief of Internal Affairs, John Nauwelaerts, after him. But that has nothing to do with the out of hand joke he pulled earlier.
- A female student gets raped and asks for help from the two female inspectors. Britt and Merel try to handle the girl with care, but Chief Constable Nauwelaerts wants a quick result. He only seems interested in the facts and Merel finds that difficult. Bruno also finds it difficult that his stepfather suddenly has become his chief, especially when he gets him to work with the dreaded 'Moustache'.
- With a lot of reluctancy Pasmans and Raymond rescue a furious dog from a decrepit house. In the living room they find a bitten on corpse of a man. They can't decide if the man was murdered or if it was suicide. Britt, Merel en Sofie keep on searching for the garden centre robbers. Especially Sofie is convinced that they will strike again.
- Patsy De Weert is set free after 13 years. Once, during an interrogation with John Nauwelaerts, she admitted killing her husband. But soon after, she retracted her statement. When Patsy gets killed, John has to dig up the old files. Has this broken hearted woman really killed her husband? Or has John made a mistake and is the real murderer still out there? His conscience begins to bother him.
- Merel and Tina learn to appreciate each other in a rape case. The victim conceals at least one important detail from her professional life. The suspect is a very unpleasant macho and an old friend of Nick. Britt can't help herself to interfere with the case where Taverniers is threatened with his life. Pasmans even warns her: she wouldn't be the first who meets something on her last day at work.
- On a dump in the city Pasmans and Raymond find a human skull. Step by step John and his team reconstruct the face, the conduct and the personality of the victim. A religious eccentric, an arrogant young artist and a deeply hurt father pass before them. Meanwhile Johan is on a business trip with a female client, which gives Britt a faint feeling of jealousy.
- Two boys walk to school when suddenly they hear a shot. One of the boys is hit and falls to the ground. The other boy hears more shots and sees a dark car driving away quickly and some guy running the other way. The car is quickly found, because it hit another car a street away. Through the car owner they arrest a drugs-dealer named Billy. He was the one who ran away. They find a gun at his house, but it's not the one the boy was shot with. When the team find out more about Billy, they can finally get him to tell the truth, which takes the investigation to a new lead.
- Five dead, one missing. The team refuse to believe that there is a sixth victim and keep searching hard for the disappeared Mieke Geeraerts. While Britt and Robert try to corner Feiremans until he breaks and tries something desperate, the rest of the team collect evidence against any other possible perpetrators. And then Pasmans tries to pin it down on a very unlikely suspect.
- Pasmans and Raymond take care of Aliceke, a confused old lady. There was a burglary, her husband was beaten into hospital and her coupons were stolen. In the search for the murderer of Caroline Heymans, Robert and Britt find their first common small successes. They start to appreciate each other's professional area and on a more personal level the ice slowly starts to melt.
- Elisabeth 'Liddy' Godderis, missing since two days at her Brussels catering job, is found murdered at her home in Dilbeek (near Brussels). The killer changed the bed linen and washed her posthumously, in bath. Gardener Marcel Geeraerts, a former colleague and supervisor, saw leave her just-dumped young gigolo, truck-driver Alex Cools. Part of the team assumes he did it, others he's been set up, and indeed she had other admirers. Liddy's bachelor sole son André Godderis, in debt after a failed business she refused to invest in, is caught intruding the crime scene.
- Nina Heylen has car trouble at night and gets raped in a dark alley and murdered afterward. The forensic team find traces of building material on her body. But finding clues at a building site is like searching for a needle in a haystack. Underneath Nina's body a tank card is found. This is the property of Nicole Callens, an editor of a woman's magazine. Her boyfriend René Stevens, who is unemployed, is known by the police as an aggressive drunkard. Nicole lies when she says her friend never uses her car. But is this evidence he is involved in the rape?
- Andrea Daniels works at the ITC department of the supermarket chain Minimax. A little time ago, she broke with her friend Martin Baeten who works at the advertising department. Then she starts a relation with Steve Hoste, who owns a freelance consultancy bureau. At an evening, Martin waits for Steve for him to come out of the apartment of Andrea. They start a fight where Martin makes an unfortunate fall against a wall and dies. A witness confirms that Steve only tried to hold off Martin. But soon questions are raised if the data Andrea manages, wouldn't be profitable for Steve. And if that is true, did Martin know this? Matti persists to explore the relation between Andrea and Martin. More and more she starts to see that Andrea and Steve already knew each other from the past and that they share a secret. In his student days, Steve was a known agitator and Sylvain remembers there is still a file about him from those days. Steve also has contacts with Vladimir Vasiliev, a Russian underworld figure.
- At the parking of a dancing just outside the city limits, a girl is found murdered. At first it seems a brutal settlement within the drugs scene. Matti thinks the policeman who were first at the scene act kind of strange. Do they know more? When the force digs deeper, they find dubious conditions within the local police.
- During a robbery in the studio of the Anderlechtse jeweler Boumans, there is a shot fired. The bullet hits daughter Sonja in the eye and she is mutilated for life. One of the perpetrators gets out very soon after his conviction. The jeweler thinks the robber got out far to easy. He won't listen to the BOB and takes justice in his own hands.
