- One morning the newspaper headline reads, "Flying Saucers Seen in the Area." So everyone starts seeing lights at night and flying saucers during the day. Fears of little green men run rampant. This episode features Jimmy Baird as Rodney 'Pee Wee' Jenkins.
- Smoke Nelson (John Pickard) helps Joey and Fury after they take a tumble. The next day he gets arrested for armed robbery. So Joey and Packy go to town to visit him at the jail. Fury helps Smoke break out of jail, but was it for Smoke to go prove his innocence or to make his escape?
- Water levels in the valley have been dropping because of poachers trapping beavers for their pelts. Beaver damns help keep the water levels up. Joey and Fury and the Game Warden restock the lake with beavers, returning everything back to its natural state.
- A cougar is on the loose killing livestock. A large bounty has been placed on the cougar's head. Joey, Pee Wee, and the boys want to go out and hunt the cougar, but Warden Lane is requiring the boys to get their hunting license after taking a Rifle Safety Course taught by Jim. Andy is in too big a hurry to collect that bounty so he sets out on his own, breaking several safe hunting rules. Joey and Fury take out after him, but will they get to him before the cougar does?
- Joey gets caught in the middle of a ranchers feud. Mr. Hayes (Francis McDonald) and Mr. Brennan (Paul Burns) used to be friends and partners, but now they're enemies. Jim and Pete work to get them back together. But it takes a special gesture from Joey and Fury.
- The weather has been very dry and conditions are ripe for wildfires. Ranger Bill Marsh enlists Jim, Pete, and Joey to help keep a watch out. Joey gets to be a lookout up in a fire tower. Packy wants to help out too. Carelessness on the part of a road work crew causes a disaster.
- The County Fair is in town. Joey and Pee Wee want to go see Horace the Trick Horse. But Horace is getting too old to perform and his trainer Sam (Hal K. Dawson) is getting fired. The owner of the Fair wants to send Horace to **gasp** the glue factory. Joey, Fury, and Pee Wee hatch a plan that just might save the day.
- In this episode, Pee Wee (Jimmy Baird) leaves the Broken Wheel Ranch to move upstate to live with his dad. The guys meet little Packy Lambert. He wants to buy a horse and he has a whole two dollars to pay for it. But Packy's dad says they can't afford a horse. So Packy brings him back to the corral at the Broken Wheel Ranch. The horse, Lucky, follows Packy who's running away from home. The guy's go out to search for Packy.
