- Karlie gets an ultimatum from her management which puts stress on her relationship with Benzino. Stevie makes a last ditch suggestion to Mimi to save their relationship. Rasheeda and Kirk make a tough decision about Kirk's place in her career.
- It was the year music fans changed the course of the industry. In Seattle, flannel replaced spandex and Nirvana's Kurt Cobain was crowned the king of a sound called "grunge." Nirvana and other rockers like Pearl Jam gave validity to the alienation of middle America and "Generation X" through raging guitars, angst-ridden lyrics and their political stances. In South Central Los Angeles hip-hop artists like Ice Cube, Dr. Dre and Ice-T told of the guns and drugs that were a part of their daily life, creating a hard-hitting genre called gangsta rap. Their music would soon prove prophetic, when the Rodney King verdict set off several days of rioting and violence. Ice-T and Time Warner would soon be taken to task by Vice President Dan Quayle for the song "Cop Killer." Already disconnected from a political system which said they didn't count, the youth and MTV's Rock The Vote helped elect a president -- Bill Clinton -- who at least grew up in the rock 'n' roll generation, even if he never "inhaled."
- TV's Illest Minority Moments focuses on the most compelling, controversial, and unintentionally hilarious race-related moments in TV history. Adapted from Ego Trip's "Big Book of Racism!", this program takes an amusing look at the ethnic stereotypes and racial story lines found on classic sitcoms, dramas and cartoons, while celebrating the daring shows and break-out characters that altered television.
- Tensions run high as the women struggle to adjust to their humble new surroundings and responsibilities like house cleaning. Things only get worse when Laura Baron's lessons about "respect" push the pampered princesses' patience to the limit. Being asked to do chores, for the first time in their lives, at a celebrity mansion leads to a furious fight with one of Hollywood's biggest divas, reality TV star Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth. And a playful popcorn party ends in an explosive confrontation!
- Nine spoiled princesses receive the shock of their pampered lives when their fed-up families cut them off from their finances and enroll them into an eight-week rehabilitation program designed to transform their pampered ways. The women must adapt to their new environment that has no cooks, valets or cleaners and very little closet space. With the guidance of professional life coach Laura Baron, the girls begin their long journey toward independence by downsizing their belongings, cooking for themselves, and learning to live like the rest of America.
- The ladies love for high-end fashion is tested when Laura introduces the concept of spending on a budget. Will they learn that it's possible to look like a million bucks without spending it? Celebrity stylist Sam Saboura challenges the girls to put on a fashion show and create three looks with only a few hundred dollars. Critiqued by celebrity judges blogger Perez Hilton and TV Guide Network host Adrianna Costa, the women discover a world beyond Chanel and Gucci. But being cut off from their luxuries for weeks is taking its toll as tensions in the house are at an all time high.
- Working nine to five is a foreign concept for our cast but they will finally learn what it means to earn a paycheck. To help them find their best suited positions, Laura has each girl write up a resume and meet for an interview with noted headhunter Stephen Viscusi. Due to their lack of prior work experience and limited enthusiasm, the girls are all assigned to work blue collar jobs in a shoe warehouse (aka, their worst nightmare). While some girls embrace the working world, others aren't as thrilled, as one diva misses the van to get to the job and another quits before the day is over. Later, Laura comes down hard on those that aren't keeping up and reminds the ladies that they'd better shape up if they want to graduate from the program.
- With Laura's help, a few monks and a shiny mirror, the girls will learn the importance of being beautiful on the inside. Upon arrival at a Buddhist temple, the girls are introduced to the life of a monk- a life that finds the meaning of true happiness by living without material items. And then to test if the women are ready to find their own inner beauty, Laura announces that they'll be doing a photo shoot with a famous photographer - without their designer wardrobe and without make-up. While some girls embrace this lesson, others just don't. And when one princess bears her ugly side, Laura is forced to make a tough decision.
- Tropical resorts are a thing of the past for these girls, who venture into the great outdoors to learn how to have fun on a budget on a camping trip, preparing food and building a campfire are difficult enough until they discover their toughest obstacle - there's no toilet. Later, tempers flare around the campfire when the episode's VIP (Very Improved Princess) abuses her powers. In the end, Mother Nature proves to be no match for the endless fighting between these superficial divas, putting their graduation in jeopardy.
- With the help of Destiny's Child member Michelle Williams, the girls start to appreciate how much they take for granted. They learn to give back when they visit PATH, a Los Angeles organization that helps the homeless, to help prepare meals. In addition to meeting and feeding the homeless, the women are asked whether they are willing to sell some of their most precious items for the cause. And at long last, Gia opens up and reveals some shockingly painful personal revelations. Is it possible the queen of the divas is finally on track to graduate? Or will she regress?
- In order to graduate from the program, each girl must prove to her benefactors that she has changed and deserves to return home. The women's families are shown highlights of their best and worst moments. While some are satisfied with what they see, a few are shocked at how they come across. Yet they must convince their benefactors they have grown. And at the actual graduation ceremony, many princesses are jolted when they hear the strict terms their families have set for their return home. Will the ladies accept the ironclad conditions?
- Professional life coach Laura Baron is back, overseeing a princess rehabilitation program for the out-of-control elite. Eight more spoiled princesses are plucked from their exclusive and extravagant lifestyles after their benefactors, fed up after years of bankrolling their expensive habits, cut the girls off from their finances. The girls learn their fate the hard way, thinking that they were auditioning for a reality show looking for the next "it" girl. Instead, these eight women must live together in a middle class two-bedroom house while they learn to cook, clean and live without the benefit of a cadre of personal assistants, chefs and hair stylists. As the girls set out on their difficult personal journey toward financial and personal independence, it may be too much for some in the group to handle.
- After one spoiled princess reaches her breaking point and walks out of the program, a new girl arrives: the self-proclaimed Queen of Jersey Bling. Laura tests their willingness to take responsibility for their spending habits on a disastrous trip to a country club. The princesses run up several thousand dollars on massages, mimosas and manicures in less than 15 minutes and must work off their debt at the club. Cleaning the tennis courts and shagging golf balls from the lake leads to some fierce confrontations as these ladies learn what it means to pay their own tab.
- Laura tries to teach the princesses to appreciate earning a paycheck as they enter the work force, flipping burgers and manning the fry vats and drive-thru window at a local fast food joint. Tempers flare as they struggle to work with one another...leading up to an explosive confrontation during group session as one girl refuses to accept Laura's guidance. Will the stress of being cut off cause another spoiled princess to quit the program?
- Money is usually no object when it comes to these princesses' wardrobes. But now they'll need to check price tags as they compete against each other to create a red carpet look for New York socialite Tinsley Mortimer. The girls will be purchasing clothes from a swap meet on a razor-thin budget. Celebrity stylist Robert Verdi judges these thrifty threads. But the girls can't help buying a few things for themselves on the side. Stress over budgets invades the homestead, as they wage war on one another over the weekly grocery list and food budget.
- The girls usually live to excess, but they encounter a lifestyle that's exactly the opposite when Laura brings them to an urban homestead: a eco-friendly self-sufficient house. They roll up their Gucci sleeves to help collect chicken eggs, wrangle goats and pile up compost on this organic micro-farm.
- Despite being more accustomed to painting nails rather than hammering them, the girls help build a house for Habitat for Humanity as Laura teaches these spoiled divas about charity. Laura also tasks them to raise money by selling their brand-name clothing at a pawn shop, testing whether they will part with their ritzy labels for less-than-top dollar prices. The lack of charity by some causes a colossal rift in the house and a major blow up between two pampered princesses.
- High heels are traded in for cowboy boots, as Laura sends the ladies off to a dude ranch to learn they can have fun on a budget. But fun is debatable for these divas as they tackle freezing desert nights, howling coyotes and a runaway horse that ends up injuring one girl. Without a five-star hotel, the great outdoors push the girls to their limits.
- It's graduation week at Princess Rehab! The ladies prepare the house for the arrival of their benefactors, hoping to prove to all that they have changed their spoiled ways. Their families will ultimately decide if they've passed the program or whether they'll remain cut off for good.
