But once someone gives to Semion Babushkin old letters that have not reached him all these years. From them he learns that he has the son - Slava. Babushkin escapes from prison to Moscow at the address indicated on the envelopes. Ironically, Slava serves as an investigator in the authorities, but currently he needs help, because he is seriously framed, and not only Slava's life is threatened, but also his daughter's safety. Then the noble gangster begins to establish his old connections and skills in order to pull the newly-born family out of trouble, who does not suspect of his existence.

One sad thing is they can't have children. They try everything, and finally decide on IVF. He had been imprisoned for 12 years for robbing a bank armored car and now only one thing he wants is to forget about the past and start a new life with Nadezhda - a woman who loves him - and his son Andrey. But stolen and missing 18 million dollars haunt many people. And there are a lot of bad people and bad troubles apart from Nadezhda waiting for Oleg at the prison gates. Eight days in which the action takes, turn upside down the life of almost all the characters. The film is full of conflicts, twists and turns, chases, sudden deaths and deep human love.
- Former riot police officer Ivan Petrovich Kalugin (Igor Bochkin) has long retired. He lives in a quiet fishing village with his family - his wife Katya (Anna Legchilova), daughter-in-law and eldest son Artyom (Mikhail Vasiliev). As an exemplary family man and a good boss, Petrovich controls not only his family. Petrovich drives a longboat and fishes together with Artyom, and he solves the neighbors' conflicts and monitors local poachers in his spare time. In the village the inhabitants are afraid of him, but respect, because they know: Petrovich will always act fairly and honestly. But the measured rural life unexpectedly ends when the second Petrovich's son, Semyon (Arthour Sopelnik) returns to the family. Unable to take root in a big city, a prodigal son has got into huge debts and now he is hiding from creditors.
- This is the story about woman whose husband cheated on her. Then she cheated on her husband herself and walked out on him to her lover. He died in the accident and the woman started to look after his widow and children. A little after she met a good man who was very rich. They didn't work out though. - Three friends Zina, Lida and Katya live with their adult children. The eternal «housing issue» is intertwined with the same eternal theme of «parents and children.» And at one fine day, the ladies decide to free their children from accumulated problems .
- The story is simple as 9/10 of all detective stories: two experienced detectives (ex-investigator and former detective by Sergey Makovetsky and Evgeny Miller) hire to work for their former protege, nicknamed «Brunet», who is a successful businessman now. His name is Viktor Albertovich (Dmitry Maryanov). There are 16 episodes, 8 stories (2 episodes each one), the three main characters and a dozen or so of very interesting characters of the second plan by no less brilliant actors than the main trio "MMM" (Makovetsky, Miller, Maryanov). I do not talk about the actors by chance, because these are the actors who transform this rather trivial story (as it might seem initially) into the interesting one. All the ensembles managed to play that magic veil, which was and still is interesting to watch.
- Two women sit in a room and try to understand who is to blame for the death of a mutual friend. Each of them blames another one and thinks that her own way of life and attitude to the world is the only correct one. But the passed away person cannot be returned and this fact over and over again returns the conversation to the starting point. «Who is to blame?» The finale, as usually, turns the whole story upside down. Everything was simple: a room, a day of shooting, an actress, three characters, seven cameras and twenty people who gathered in a legitimate day off to dedicate themselves to the pure creativity for free. That pure creativity was the creation of the short film «The only way out». This day was preceded by four weeks of daily eight-hour rehearsals, and was followed by five weeks of installation - But the main reason why such films are made is the feeling of unlimited creative freedom.
- 1947. The lieutenant of Engineering Corps Pavel Morozov returns home after a victory and two years of work on restoration of Prague. In his native village near Novosibirsk his mother and bride are waiting for him. But instead of happiness and peace Paul gets false accusation, the court, the prison, the new separation from the beloved one and other difficulties of the postwar period.
