- The amusing little trolley car starts the comedy which wanders off to an amusement resort where the village council are investigating. Unfortunately a motion picture camera has recorded some of their pranks, and these are shown in a news reel in the home town. The wives of the investigating committee journey to the amusement resort and bring back their husbands.
- Husband, wife, baby, and dog arrive in California in a flivver. As they have great difficulty in finding a hotel that will allow babies and dogs, they buy a lot and a portable bungalow. After putting it up they discover that they built the house over the baby, so they tear it all down and set it up again. But just before they move in, a real-estate agent arrives to tell them that they built upon the wrong lot. They put the house on wheels and tow it through the town, but the rope breaks and the house runs wild. After they place it on the proper lot, the inspectors inform them that a building permit is required, and once more the house is knocked down. But during this time the baby was making mud pies out of what turned to be an oil well.
- The grocer's boy is in love with the farmer's daughter and they would have eloped had it not been for her father and his shotgun. At night the boy dreams that he is the hero of "The Three Musketeers." The sets are changed to represent medieval France, the costumes match the period, and in the dream the girl becomes the beautiful princess who is being forced to marry the bad man. The hero then rides to the rescue, and after fighting a whole army of soldiers and cavaliers. he rescues the girl--and then he wakes up. The next night the real fun begins. The grocer's boy and his three friends dress themselves as Musketeers and attack the farmer's house. After an unsuccessful attempt, the girl is finally rescued.
