Scrooge is then thrown into the world of pantomime and meets poor Cinderella (Barbara Windsor) at the beck and call of her ugly sisters(Peter Butterworth and Terry Scott) With some camp help from Buttons (Charles Hawtrey) and the Fairy Godmother (Frankie Howerd) Scrooge resolves to embrace the spirit of Christmas. Unfortunately he lavishes affection on a passer-by (Hattie Jacques) and is arrested by a policeman ( Bernard Bresslaw) .
- Once, the King of Martial Arts wrote a manual of all skills but, in order to prevent it being held by one person he split the manual into two parts - one holding all the even numbered pages and the other holding the odd pages. Currently half the manual is held by the Winged Tiger Deng Fei (a villainous expert in a technique which is almost like flying) and the other is in the possession of Master Yin (better known as the King of Hades). In order to obtain both copies for himself, Yin has arranged for his sister Yin Cai Fa to marry Deng Fei in return for his half of the manual. Unwilling to let one man hold all the power and keen to share the manual with the world, the Chief of Mount Hua and the heads of the martial arts schools send Flying Hero Guo Jiou Ru to obtain both copies. The plan is simple, kill the Winged Tiger to get his copy and then Guo Jiou Ru will use his power of mimicry and similar fighting style to impersonate Deng Fei and infiltrate the Yin home in order to get the other half. Sounds impossible and indeed even a blind man (You Ming) can tell something is off when Guo Jiou Ru turns up claiming to be the Winged Tiger - but can he pull it off?
- Eunuch Gui Dehai avoids assassination and extracts a most bloody revenge on the royal family. This revenge extends to the absent Prince and the Eunuch sends out men to find and kill him. Knowing that such information would hurt his standing even though it occurred before his castration, Gui kills his father and seeks to have the girl killed too so that the secret may be hidden. Fortunately for Yanyan, she is rescued by the Old Lady of Green Bamboo Forest (herself no slouch with the bamboo pole). Husband and wife come together with their new students and set about helping train them up to take revenge - although what that actually means may be different for each of the two students.

Meanwhile the nearby Ba family are a much more righteous group, with the wisdom of Granny Ba, the style and sword skills of 9th Miss Ba and the enthusiasm of son Master Ba. While Granny enjoys the good wishes of all on her birthday, Miss Ba has her hands full - not only does she discover her honorable brother helping Hu Jiao in his dastardly deeds, but she also believes she has been robbed by a traveler that she gave assistance to (not knowing that this man was Lo Hong Shun). Add to all this relative Ying Hua in affection for Lo Hong Shun, Hu Jiao sees a way to use the righteousness of the Ba family to help him kill the hero Lo by turning them against him - but will righteousness prevail?
- When not studying Tai Chi under the tutelage of Old Yeung, Ku Ding works as part of a crew building roads. When he and his colleagues are cheated out of half their money by corrupt foreman Tang Hoi Hay (acting on behalf of his boss Master Jin), Wu Bing Lien protests on behalf of the group, only to get a beating for his troubles. Ku Ding intervenes and takes the beating instead, which is in line with the teachings of Tai Chi that it is not for fighting others, even though it can be - and that tolerance is key. This is not something that even Yeung's daughter Ah Jen accepts and she thinks Ku Ding's action (or lack of action) was foolish and it doesn't help with his money problems. Due to such worries, Ku Ding's girlfriend (Ah Bao) seeks out a job as a servant in the house of Dai Sing - son of Master Jin. At the same time Dai Sing, something of an martial artist, learns of Yeung's Tai Chi and looks for a contest, and when he is rebuffed he orders his father's men to kill the old master. While in the mood, he also approves supervisor Tang to get rid of rabble-rouser Wu and even has energy yet to give his servant Ah Bao some attention, whether she wants it or not. All of these cruel acts put great pressure on Ku Ding to seek revenge but, as this is not in keeping with his teaching of tolerance, he is unsure even when Ah Jen demands it. Can he reconcile the principle of his Tai Chi with the nature of the cruel reality in which he lives?
- Supposedly dead, embittered former official, The Ghost Face Killer has returned and seeking revenge on those martial arts masters than once opposed him - his name is infamous and his Five Elements fighting style is deadly. Meanwhile, young Ah Pao joins a martial arts school in order to become a great fighter in order to take revenge on the man who killed his father. He gets very good quickly but timing is everything and his arrival at the school in relation to the return of the Ghost Face Killer sees him suspected of being connected and thus put out of the school. He falls under the tutelage of an elderly chess master in the town while all the time the focus of his vengeance kills his way closer and closer.

- Yuan Ying Fei is the descendant of the one known as Golden Sword and himself is a master of the technique as well as being boss of the town. He is so a cruel man and has killed his sparring partners with unnecessary blows, causing many martial artists to leave the town with only Guan Ah Yun remaining. Guan is the owner of Wu Wei security bureau which Yuan wishes to buy but cannot bully Guan out as he has an eye for his sister and Guan cannot fight back because any time he tries his sister and mother stop him. Yuan is stuck until he learns of 4 kung fu experts who are passing through the town by eating in restaurants and then taking it in terms to take a beating due to not being able to pay. Yuan tricks He Fei,Yang Zhui Feng, Zeng Qiao and Feng Jia Ji into being his friends and then tricks them into believing that Guan is a cruel and unhelpful man. The four go to fight Guan, but do so away from his mother and sister - but the fights produce mutual respect and friendship between sparring which leads Yuan to more deadly deception.
- When young Tieh Chiao San is sent by his dying father to live with a former kung fu colleague in the town, he accidentally gets into trouble when messing with a gang running a snake-oil scam and then getting into a fight with an old drunkard. When Tieh reaches his destination he finds that the snake-oil gang is run by none other than his father's friend. He joins the gang but cannot bring himself to do the bad deeds demanded of him; this continues to the point where he is beaten and left for dead. Luckily he is rescued by the pretty Tsai Chiao and hidden out with her drunk uncle and leprosy suffering aunt as well as a Shaolin temple. Tieh uses his time to learn some new kung fu styles, which is just as well as it is not long till the gang come after him looking to finish the job.
