- Mike conducts a desperate search for survivors soon after a freighter sinks to the bottom of a river in the city of New York. He finds two trapped men and a dog named Tiger surviving in an air pocket. He must quickly find a way to save the men - and Tiger, too.

Tate Ibsen's plan to spring him loose before they reach the Yuma Penitentiary runs into complications when the stage is attacked by Indians.

Robinson and Scott's assignment is to rescue a friendly agent involved with disrupting the child-smuggling, but whom is now trapped behind the Iron Curtain.

- Against Mr. Gregg's advice, Peter, with the help of Kelly, Ginger, and Howard, goes into business making and selling homemade fortune cookies. The bureaucratic red tape that Peter encounters takes up so much of Mr. Gregg's time that it jeopardizes a million-dollar deal at his law office.
- When Sapphire visits Mama in Chicago, Kingfish gets a job as a delivery boy for a department store. He tries to deliver a fur coat, but he gets no response and ends up bringing it home. Sapphire returns, finds the coat, and believes it's a present for her.

- While staying in a hotel in Houston, the hotel manager's French poodle follows Gracie to her room. She assumes it's a stray and wants to keep it. Guests are not allowed to keep animals in the hotel, so she and Blanche decide to hide the dog from George and the hotel staff.
- Wes, Marge, Nancy, and Mrs. Gurney meet Mr. Peepers at his mother's house in order to give him a ride to the college, where he is to take a refresher course for secondary science teachers. They plan to arrive in the evening and drive through the night, but Mom Peepers is concerned that they all get a good night's sleep first. Finally, it is agreed that they will spend the night at Mom's house, but they wind up talking all night and get no sleep at all.
- Fed up with his routine chores in the gallery, the cook of the USS Sunfish, Teddy Aldridge, requests an active combat station for the next engagement with the enemy. The ship's executive officer assigns him a Browning automatic rifle for use during surface action.
- At Upstate Teachers' College for a summer refresher course, Mr. Peepers visits his former professor, Dr. Ludvig Hoffman. He winds up rooming with a young drum-playing football player who flunked out the previous year, and who calls the slightly older Mister Peepers "Pop." Finally, the lonely Mr. Peepers meets up with some old friends, and they get together for a reunion drink.
- Gracie wants to hire a high-priced decorator to redo the bedroom, but she doesn't want George to find out until after the work is done. In order to get George out of the house, she and Ronnie pretend the house must be fumigated to rid it of termites.

- At the urging of Vice Admiral Charles A. Lockwood, civilian scientists developed an electronic device that enabled submarines to detect floating and submerged mines. With this apparatus, a wolf-pack of nine subs entered the Sea of Japan in June 1945 and wreaked havoc with enemy shipping, contributing materially to the end of the war.
- Lt. Masters, Cpl. Rusty, and Rin Tin Tin travel to Vancouver in Canada. Their purpose is to give advise to the fledgling Northwest Mounted Police. While there, Rin Tin Tin kills a legendary white wolf and runs away with its pack as their new leader. Rusty is heartbroken. Part 1 of a two-part episode.
- Tommy Emmanuel, an amazing Australian guitarist, who's won every possible award in his homeland, including entertainer of the year (three times), takes the Big Room stage by storm. Series host Bob Littell surprises the audience and almost steals the show with a cameo appearance on harmonica, showing chops equaling those of the best in the country.
- Kingfish and Andy are sharing weekly driving privileges of a used car. After a traffic court judge warns the Kingfish that his next court appearance will land him in jail, he wrecks the car and hands the attending police officer Andy's license as identification. Next step: Fool Andy into thinking that he's suffering from amnesia.
- While traveling alone in a train compartment, an elderly, wealthy, wheelchair-bound man (Cedric Hardwicke) is confronted by a younger man (David Niven), he double-crossed over twenty years ago. The younger man, now bent on revenge, tells the elderly man that he intends to kill him when the train passes through an upcoming tunnel. A battle of wits ensues.
