- Fifty years after a world-wide zombie epidemic had begun, a small group of rebel soldiers learn that intelligent zombies have begun breeding humans for food. The soldiers plan an all-out war to rid the Earth of the flesh-eating monsters for good, as the rest of the surviving world's population struggles to survive against the zombie hordes.

Meanwhile, Dixon is nominated for prom king, while Ethan learns that he has been accepted into lacrosse camp for the summer. Also, both Kelly and Harry take action to help Liam get on the right track, while he continues to try to temp Annie to embrace her own dark side as he has with his own. Ryan grows more closer towards Jen, and he also ignores Kelly's warnings that Jen is a devious, sociopath seductress whom is using him for self interest. At the prom, Harry informs the students in attendance that any after-prom activities will be dealt with punishment, while Navid provokes a fistfight with Ty when he reacts with indifference over the pregnant Adrianna's unborn child which is in fact his. When Silver learns that Dixon has nominated himself for prom king, she decides to enter for prom queen as a write-in candidate and finally gets to speak her mind to the attendees.

Also, Russell can't figure out how to talk to Simone about her current assignment.

Worried that Adrianna will relapse into drugs, Naomi and Silver enlist Navid's assistance to talk to her, but he is too consumed by his ego and jealousy to care about her anymore. Meanwhile, Dixon reveals his situation with Sasha to Debbie and Harry, prompting Debbie to do some investigating to see if Sasha is telling the truth. Also, Jen and Ryan meet up with Pharrell to watch a performance of N.E.R.D.

Also, Abby then flies back to Buffalo and Tom soon follows suit.

Meanwhile, Jonah meets with a producer's development executive, named Kendra, who invites him to have drinks later that night to discuss his film. The wicked vixen Violet makes another play for Auggie's attention at Coal. Also, Lauren finds out about David's criminal secret of sealing artwork to pawn for cash, while she continues to hide her own criminal secret of being a high-class call girl.
- In the season finale, Amanda officially fires Ella from WPK and cuts off all Ella's severance pay and referrals. However, Ella will not go down with out a fight and she soon finds the stolen painting that Amanda has been looking for and blackmails her for it. Meanwhile, Drew tries to stop Michael from performing a dangerous heart surgery, but Michael sets Drew up to get caught with drugs, causing Drew to be thrown in jail, and out of UCLA. Eventually, Drew confesses to Riley that he had a surgery five months ago by Dr. Mancini which results now that he may die anytime. Hearing about Drew's plight, Lauren risks her job and career to stop Dr. Mancini from another M-valve surgery by announcing out his secret in front of his surgical team. David and Lauren reconcile, but the jealous, wild-child Morgan seeks revenge by having her equally evil gangster father beat up and blackmail David into performing robberies for him. Jonah asks Riley to reconcile after the NYU reunion program but she denies out of pride. Elsewhere, Amanda becomes haunted by Sydney's illusion.

The girl is not surprised when she is kidnapped from the stagecoach because she believes that her fiance planned the whole thing. Actually, it is the cowboy's rival who has arranged her kidnapping. The girl discovers the truth when the rival arrives at the shack where she is being held. The cowboy arrives just in time to rescue her from the rival's unwelcome advances.

Also, Harry, seeking to get away from problems at home, accompanies Ryan to a bar for some guy time and attempts to be his wing man when Ryan wants to move on from Jen.
- As opening night for the school play nears, Harry catches Annie kissing Ty, which makes him worry that she and Ty are moving too fast with their growing romance. Silver, stressed out from her job as the stage manager, gets some comfort from Dixon. Meanwhile, Naomi tries make her mother and father get back together, but Tracy's mind to divorce Charlie is made up. On the opening night of the play, the star Adrianna's drug use comes to surface from being under constant pressure from her overbearing mother, Constance, and when Brenda discovers this, she replaces Adrianna with Annie in the lead alongside Ty. But when both Brenda and Kelly confide in Constance about her daughter's drug abuse, Constance (a secret drug abuser-in-denial herself) refuses to believe them. Afterwards, Adrianna successfully gets her revenge when she manipulates and breaks up Ty and Annie's romantic get-together at a celebration party at a local hotel.

This doesn't work out as planned when two women claiming to be his wife are arrested in a scuffle. Russell begins a new undercover job that involves her getting into a relationship with alleged drug dealer, Jimmy Liery, that might require her to start drinking again. Elsewhere, Geri continues to try to win Sipowicz's affections and Medavoy for once feels good about himself after his diet. Also, Martinez asks the anti-crime PAA, Gina Colon, out on a date.

Also, Miranda and Dr. Jordan treat a young girl who collapsed during a gymnastic event and must deal with a personal issue.
- Having walked in on Spence and Paige kissing they both give Ellen different versions how this happened. Ellen tries to persuade Paige to call off the wedding, but she refuses. Meanwhile, during the delay in the ceremony, Peter and Barrett discuss their suspicions about Paige getting cold feet. Heather continues harassing Ellen and everyone else to deliberately sabotage the wedding, while Matt's daughter Mia continues balking at wearing her uncomfortable wedding dress. Also, Joe continues talking over the phone to locate his brother and learns that he's in jail in Singapore, while Audrey ends her relationship with Ron Palillo. But during the ceremony, Matt is the one who calls off the wedding when he has an attack of conscious and Spence and Paige embrace.
- A series of complications threaten to turn Paige's wedding day into a total disaster. Starting when Paige's estranged sister, Heather, gets angry after Ellen is chosen to be the maid of honor and refuses to help with the wedding. Then the ballroom at the hotel is not booked and the wedding cake does not arrive. to top this all off Paige's alcoholic mother passes out after apparently drinking every bottle of champagne to be served, while Peter and Barrett end up unsuccessfully trying to resuscitate her. Meanwhile, Audrey tries to reconcile a relationship with her beau, Ron Palillo, who's being pursued by a groupie. Ellen asks Joe to phone the bakery to ask about the missing cake, while he really calls long distance to find his missing brother. Spence also learns that he was kicked out of his law internship. Things get even worse when Ellen goes to the wrong hotel room to drop off Matt's duffel bag. She is mistaken for a spy by an FBI surveillance team protecting a visiting Latin American dictator. But the big surprise comes when Ellen walks in on Paige in a compromising situation.

With his college friends' help, Danny turns Ginger's father's ranch into a motel for impending divorcees to get out of debt, while Danny courts Ginger, but tries to keep his past reputation a secret when his former girlfriend Tess, a spiteful gold-digger, relentlessly pursues him and his wealth.

But Ellen is determined to set things straight, even though it will result in father and son resuming their battle of wills. Meanwhile, a new movie is playing at the cinema next door to Buy the Book which takes away all the customers, plus the loud noise affects Ellen, Joe, and even Audrey who begins acting out the lines of dialogue.
- Gia encourages Adrianna to audition for a lead singing spot in a new all-girl rock band and admits she has a crush on Adrianna who doesn't know how to respond to Gia's revelation. Dixon's birth mother, Dana, shows up at the Wilsons for a surprise visit and tries to develop a relationship with her son. Meanwhile, Silver and Teddy go on their first official date, but Silver finds it difficult to deal with Teddy's playboy swinging past and she enlists Naomi's help to track his whereabouts afterwords. Navid returns to school from his suspension (after being framed by Jasper for the drug possession charge) to find that Naomi has fully taken over Blaze News and even started a gossip segment, which he adamantly opposes. Navid decides to get back into the dating scene by asking the new Blaze volunteer, Lila, out on a date. As Annie reestablishes relations with Naomi, Silver, and the rest of her former friends, she also realizes that Jasper has started following her around town, and is frustrated that she cannot confide in anyone about what is going on with her out of fear that someone will figure out her secret. Also, a worried Debbie confides in Kai, her yoga instructor, about the arrival of Dixon's birth mother.
- Sipowicz and Simone investigate the murder of a woman whose body was found dumped in an alley and information about the mystery woman reveals that the woman was a mail-order bride from Russia who was looking to divorce her husband. Meanwhile, Medavoy and Martinez look into the drive-by shooting on a city bus. When one of the passengers mouths off his hatred of gays, both Medavoy and Abby become angry in which Medavoy slides on a further decline when he breaks his diet and begins to show off aggressive methods against the smart-mouthed gang members they bring in for interrogation. Elsewhere, Sipowicz starts working a part-time job for the U.S. Marshall by doing garbage detail at J.F.K. airport.
- Sayid miraculously comes back to life, but his problems have only just begun. Sawyer escapes, and Kate and Jin go after him. Back in Los Angeles, fugitive Kate helps Claire as she goes into labor.
- Sean is hit with an ethical and moral dilemma when he is offered a deal. In return for performing liposuction on an obese prisoner about to be executed, Matt would being released from prison. Christian, after discovering that Kimber is pregnant, orders her to have an abortion or lose him in the process. He does not want any more children. His issues an ultimatum when he promises to marry her if she goes through with the abortion. A desperate Kimber turns to both Liz and Mike for advice while deciding how far she is prepared to go for the man she loves. Also, Matt discovers information that could jeopardize his possible release from prison.
- As Dorothea's 25th anniversary at work approaches, Redman promises to get Chaka Khan to perform at her party. Meanwhile, Nancy is blasting her Kenny Loggins music from her house which angers Meth because he has a personal grudge against Kenny. While setting up for the party, Meth and Red suck up all the power from the neighborhood for their own home. Nancy retaliates by calling in electric company agents and they shut Meth's and Red power off to their house. Meth must find a way to get the power back on in time for his Mom's party.
- The Wilson family arrives in Beverly Hills, after Harrison "Harry" Wilson takes a job as the principal at West Beverly High School, while his children, Annie and Dixon, attend the school during their first week much to the awkward circumstances of their father watching over them, while Harry and his photographer wife, Debbie, also keep a close eye on Harry's washed-up, alcoholic, actress mother, Tabitha. For Annie and Dixon, the school is one big culture shock for Annie, a sweet and friendly girl with a passion for the theater, and Dixon, a star athlete and scholar who was adopted by the Wilson family after they took him in as a foster child. Annie and Dixon have a close sibling relationship, which they'll need to help them cope with all the new cliques and classmates, including Naomi Clark, a hot and stereotypical spoiled rich girl who believes that money buys everything; Ethan Ward, Annie's former boyfriend from Kansas who's now Naomi's boyfriend, and a popular lacrosse star whose abilities rival Dixon's; Navid Shirazi, an aspiring student reporter who heads up the school's daily TV newscast; and Erin Silver, a rebel and wanna-be socialite who produces and stars in a YouTube-type video series, and who develops a crush on Dixon. Adrianna is a fellow student and theater "goddess" who is Naomi Clark's best friend... and Ethan Ward's secret girlfriend, and who has a serious drug addiction; George Evans is an arrogant West Beverly High student, who takes an instant dislike to Dixon because of his race (Dixon is black). Wendy is "sexy vixen" student at West Beverly Hills High who takes every advantage of her looks; Ty Collins is another student and theater major. Even the faculty seems hip and sophisticated at the school whom include the smart and funny teacher Ryan Matthews, beautiful guidance counselor Kelly Taylor, and successful theater actress-turned-high school-musical director Brenda Walsh. The Wilson family has just begun to realize how much their lives are about to change.
- After a bad blind date, Susan meets and flirts with a handsome doctor, named Dr. Ron McGreadie, but she takes a wrong approach by feigning a terminal illness. Meanwhile, some old pictures of Gabrielle turn up on the Internet, and she asks a reluctant Carlos to get them back from an old photographer boyfriend. Tom is alarmed when the kids come down with chicken pox, because he's never had it; Lynette thus learns more about Tom's fear of being sick, as well as being sterile. After Bree asks Detective Barton to make a background check on the Applewhites, she happens to get arrested by the police detective himself for DUI after a lunch date with him. During Wisteria Lane's annual blood drive, Zach learns that he has the same blood type as Mike. After months of silence, Mike's former father-in-law, Noah Taylor, now bedridden with terminal cancer, asks him for information about his case, in which Mike resorts to lying to protect Paul and Zach Young.
- Simone and Sipowicz help a local FBI agent, named Mike Frances, to investigate the murder of a local Italian mobster. However they are forced to commit robbery while working undercover for Agent Francis, and have to place a bug in the mob hangout. When two wise guys come to the station to file a robbery complaint, Russell and Medavoy catch them in the act of filing a false report. Meanwhile, Donna's hairdresser, Marina, tells her that she has a problem with her ex-boyfriend. He wants to hijack Marina's current boyfriend's truck, and Martinez goes undercover as Marina's boyfriend. But Lesniak is unable to hide her jealousy and possessiveness. Elsewhere, Andy Jr. learns more about being a beat cop with more pointers from his father Sipowicz Sr.

Meanwhile, Lois becomes jealous of Clark's relationship with Zatanna.
- Julia visits Sean and Christian in Los Angeles to share some life-changing news, and she also rejects romantic advances from both men. Meanwhile, Matt gets a blast from his past when Ava Moore, who caused immeasurable family chaos years ago, turns up as Matt prepares to marry Ramona. Also, Liz reveals that she's happily pregnant.

However, Stillson makes another appearance and does not pass up the opportunity to exploit the situation. He plays the fear-card for his own gain for further admiration and power for himself.
